Hi Simion,

Thanks for your response. We installed Newspaper on a Multisite instance, but we are unable to install the required plugins. Every time we try to do so, we get an error that the plugins have failed to install. Any thoughts on what could be going on?

Here are the plugins that we cannot install.
tagDiv Composer
tagDiv Cloud Library
tagDiv Social Counter

I can confirm that plugins like Contact Form 7 do install fine on our Multisite instance.

Hello !

Unfortunately you cannot do any changes on that footer information. You can either change the footer style from Theme Panel – Footer or you can add a footer template from the cloud library and then edit it. Find out more about the footer templates here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

I hope this was helpfull !

Thank you !

Hi,

The default blocks and grids are predefined, meaning that their layout cannot be changed.

However flex blocks and grids have such options, for example flex block 1 has the 16:9 format in the pre-made style presetss – http://prntscr.com/ofmsdj

But you can also use the image settings to set custom sizes if needed
http://prntscr.com/ofmsu0
So flex blocks and grids have many more design and layout options than the predefined ones. You could experiment with them.

Also check the designs created by us here – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks
These can be imported with the cloud library plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

1. In order to make the author’s image round, you can try this custom css
.td_block_authors img, .author-box-wrap img{
border-radius: 50%;
}

Set it in the Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
Also here are some elements that can be edit using the tagDiv Composer, one of theme is the author box -> https://www.screencast.com/t/JIWgxcYB2y

2. This can be achieve using the Header manager, using this part of tagDiv Composer builder you can build your own header, or change the ones from the tagDiv Cloud Library.

Thank you!

Hello !

In order to achieve that look you will have to edit your page using the tagdiv composer and modify the Row so the layout will offer you a sidebar like here: https://www.screencast.com/t/l7AtnRxj1puI After that you can simply add the elements you want in order to finish the looks of your page

In order to edit this you will have to add a single post cloud template from Cloud library. All the steps needed to do this are found here:https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

I hope this was helpfull !

Thank you !

Only the following plugins are active:
tagDiv Cloud Library
tagDiv Composer
tagDiv Newsletter
tagDiv Social Counter

And, I cleared the Server cache. It’s same for me.

As this is just the beginning, I’m not using Cache or any other plugin.
I was using Yoast SEO plugin. I deactived that to test as you said.

Hi,

This can be achieve only if you are using a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library and you set on that template the table; you’ll need to add and row -> https://www.screencast.com/t/EIs6uGDCWE set an empty column and set the code for the table in the text field -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ZT5Y8ibz -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CXBatM8L after that set the single post template on the post where you have the table set.

Thank you!

If you want to change the width of post templates, you’ll need to use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, edit it using the tagDiv Composer and stretch the row to the dimension you need.

On single post templates you will have to edit the cloud library and add manually a Single Post Review Overall as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/HHU45lVqpZ

I hope this was helpfull !

Hi,

Depends, if you are using a predefined category template the settings for theme are in the theme panel for each category or globally – https://forum.tagdiv.com/default-category-settings/
You can choose the type of top grid or turn it off, the type of module in which posts are displayed, pagination method etc.

On the other hand if you use a cloud category template, these can be edited with the tagDiv composer – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/ and customized there.

Please let me know if you have more questions, I will help you.

Thanks

When i try to make a new template or customize one, its block by the fire wall. It maybe our firewall that is causing the issue. Could you send me the IP address for the Cloud template so I can white list it on the firewall.

Thank you – it’s great it can be done with standard tagdiv Composer! I have 2 additional question:
1) is there in the post cloud library any post template as much as possible similar to common post template in Newspaper, so I can just put my special box and it will look the same as other posts? Or can I somehow create new template from common post template?
2) where I can assign such a new template for specific category?

Hello !

Sorry for missreplying to your issue !

The easyiest way for you to have ads on some posts and to hide on other posts you will have to do the following:

1. Create 2 single post templates from the Cloud library. In one add custom ad boxes for your ads. Find out here how to install single post template: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

Also the ad-boxes can be added from the tagdiv composer here: https://www.screencast.com/t/4IfcA6CZa Also information about the adboxes are here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-ad-spots/

After you have created your 2 templates. You can use the one with adboxes for the posts you want to have ads in and the one who doesn’t have adboxes in posts you do not want posts in.

I hope I was more clear.

Also please follow the steps in the links carefully to achieve the result you want.

Thank you !

Hi,

In the theme package there are 2 page builders, the tagDiv composer and the WPBakery builder. Quite a while back the theme provided only WPBakery, but we developed the tagDiv composer as our own builder. Now the composer is considered the main builder of the theme, and it has to be active at all times. It is also the only composer that can be used with the cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

We recommend to use the tagDiv composer, but you can activate and use WPBakery as well if needed. Just remember to not edit pages built with the composer, with WPBakery, or the other way around.

Here are some simple guides if you want to check them out
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi,

If both the composer and cloud library plugin are active, the header manager button can be found in the composer sidebar, while editing a page or cloud template
http://prntscr.com/odkh9a
Please let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks

Hello !

In the cloud library there is this Single post template 4 wich is exactly like default post template 8. Import that and you will be able to edit it using the tagDiv Composer just like the homepage.

Here are the steps on how to implement it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

I hope this helped you !

I have the TagDiv composer and Cloud Library plugins installed but I can’t find the header manager, please help, thanks.

Hello !

Please read the documentation. You cannot simply modify that part of your footer. You will have to create a whole new footer using the tagDiv Composer and cloud library templates.

You create the footer and you can add whatever element you want in it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

I hope I was more clear.

Thank you !

Ok I can see now, if a cloud library is selected at the top, those fields dissappear…I think the UX of the theme panel could be much clearer :))

Thank you!

Hello !

In order to achieve that you will have to add a footer from a cloud library and edit it. For more informations please take a look at this documentation regarding this matter (the tutorial is for a header but applies the same way for the footer ): https://tagdiv.com/overlay-header-newspaper-theme/

I hope this was helpfull !

Hi,

As a first step you could try the suggestions from this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/invalid-reply-at-server-endpoint-trying-to-get-to-cloud-library/
If there is no need for modifications as the requirements guide suggests, we can take a closer look at it. Send us an email at the address mentioned in the topic. Please also include a link to this topic in the email. Let us know.

Thanks

Hi, I receive the “Invalid Server Endpoint” error while trying to access the Cloud Library. We’re set up on a WP Engine staging server at the moment, which has 512M of memory dedicated to WordPress and runs PHP 7.2x. We’re also running the back end in https.

Since those are the 3 main items that seem to cause this error, do you have any other suggestions as to what may be causing it? I wasn’t sure if it may be because of some other limitation with a staging environment.

Hello !

If you are using a single post template from the cloud library you can add a new block of what kind you like instead of the old one and set the filters so it can contain only related articles from a tag or category ( option 1 ) : https://www.screencast.com/t/Oj8wE0fhm7

Or you can add a related articles element wich will fit the template you’ve selected and no need to edit it ( Option 2 )

I hope this was helpfull !

Thank you !
