Hello,
So, I understand you use a header template from Theme Panel, I recommend using header templates from tagDiv Cloud Library which offers you more possibilities.
You can set another menu for mobile only if you use the mobile theme plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/vJIYKI5.png
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.
Thank you!
Hi, just bought the theme. Please refer to this screenshot of yours.
In our site, We can see only
CLOUD LIBRARY TEMPLATE
Set a Cloud Library footer template for all website.
After that rest is blank. No footer settings, no Instagram settings and no Footer info content.
How do I get these options?
Another problem is the logo area.
Can’t get rid of the theme name.
Installed and activated woocommerce but after that getting an error message:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘tdc_state’ not found in /var/www/html/development/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_global.php:720 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/html/development/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_util.php(2439): td_global::td_generate_unique_id() #1 /var/www/html/development/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_api.php(336): td_util::error(‘/var/www/html/d…’, ‘td_api_base::ma…’) #2 /var/www/html/development/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_api.php(134): td_api_base::mark_used_on_page(‘tdc_state’) #3 /var/www/html/development/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_autoload_classes.php(23): td_api_base::get_by_id(‘tdc_state’) #4 [internal function]: td_autoload_classes->loading_classes(‘tdc_state’) #5 /var/www/html/development/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_global.php(720): spl_autoload_call(‘tdc_state’) #6 /var/www/html/development/wp-content/plugins/td-compose in /var/www/html/development/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_global.php on line 720
Hello,
Depends, did you use templates from the tagDiv cloud library for the shop?
Please provide more details.
You can try to disable it and see if there are problems, maybe you use elements only from WooCommerce
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have this option, but you can do this using the breadcrumbs from a SEO plugin, for example Yoast SEO.
To set it in the theme you’ll need to use the shortcode and set it with the tagDiv Composer in pages and cloud templates in a column text or text with title element.
Thank you!
Hi,
Indeed, there was a bug in the update that apparently affected the mobile pages in the categories. Our developers have fixed this issue and the fix will be offered in the next update.
For a quick solution you can replace the code from this file td-cloud-library/includes/tdb_functions.php with the code from here -> https://pastebin.com/QanXUMrH
In case that there are some problems after replacing the code, please disable and delete the tagDiv Cloud library and reinstall the plugin from Newspaper > plugins.
Thank you!
Hello,
Our theme has 3 header files, on in theme, one in tagDiv Composer (wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/header.php) and one in tagDiv Standard Pack (wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/header.php), now if the standard pack is enable and you do not use a cloud template then you’ll use the file from standard pack, if this plugin is disable or you use a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library then it will be used the file from composer, if both of these are disable will be display the one from theme (wp-content/themes/Newspaper/header.php).
I think this is the file that I think you need to edit wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/header.php
You will also need to use a child theme to avoid making these edits after each update -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello,
First, I want to make sure that I was able to inform you of all info about the mobile versions that our theme can have.
1. Responsive version, this is by default when you install the theme and you do not use mobile page or mobile theme plugin.
2. Mobile page/template this allows you to create with tagDiv Composer and cloud a different layout and set different elements for mobile and iPad/tablet and it will overwrite the responsive version.
3. Mobile theme plugin, this is a light theme version for mobile that will overwrite the mobile page templates and the responsive version of the theme.
So when you have a mobile page/template this will be used instead of a responsive version, but if you also have the mobile theme enabled, this one will override both of them.
How to combine them? Yes, this can be possible, for example the mobile page/template will apply only on that page or cloud template that is assigned. But what to do if you want to use a mobile theme plugin too? If you use mobile theme, in Gutenberg editor it is an option to disable the mobile theme in current post/page, if you use the option, then it will be use the mobile page/template (if is assigned) or the responsive version.
So in your case you can disable the mobile theme on the homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/NX57q4t.png or if you do not want it at all, disable the plugin or use it only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/Grlz5Ee.png.
Here is also a video that explains all those -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Using cloud templates, don’t use the mobile theme plugins so all mobile pages are created per Mobile Templates created with tagDiv composer. Recently I changed themes and updated footer, header, homepage, author and various other pages. The category page was updated with the same theme, each was imported, didn’t not “switch themes” and went to create a mobile template, selected “copy content” saved, edited and for some reason the Category Mobile is the only one that won’t load, it loads the Page Templates Mobile Responsive Page, not the separate mobile page that I created, verified in cloud templates that the Page Template is set and the Mobile Template I created is set. I proceeded to disable all plugins, no change, I deactivate the td cloud library plugins and enabled them, no change. I rename the mobile, deleted the mobile and recreated still no change. I checked the Newspaper themes settings to make sure no category was set, all of them set to inherit. It is like somehow the Category Template is hard-coded to load its own mobile page, not the mobile page that was created from it. The last thing I am thinking of doing is importing the Category Template page again and selected it as the default and testing. Any thoughts on what could be going on? Clear cache and all that jazz.
Here is the mobile theme: https://voiceofdenton.com/tdb_templates/cat-mobile-v2/
This is the Category theme: https://voiceofdenton.com/tdb_templates/category-template-chained-news-pro/
Here is a screenshot of the cloud template settings: https://snipboard.io/iIyNBU.jpg
Appreciate any insight?
This is the email I received
Hi,
We have updated tagDiv Composer(for standard templates) and tagDiv Cloud Library(for cloud templates) plugins with a fix for this issue. I hope it will work properly also for you.
This is the result on our live demo – https://www.screencast.com/t/HB9VnceTbTie
We have modified the review schema and on the testing tools these are the results – https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result?id=Tg2H4gLUQ4oFMtafIAOmNQ – https://validator.schema.org/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fdemo.tagdiv.com%2Fnewspaper_pro%2Ftd-post-laptop-with-128-bit-processor-32gb-of-ram-and-24mp-front-camera%2F
The only warning is related to missing field “aggregateRating”, but this is optional and practically this was the cause of this issue (votes number instead of the author).
You can take a test and let us know how it goes. Just deactivate and delete tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library plugins and reinstall them from Newspaper > Plugins – https://www.screencast.com/t/w5Vg8hoeH
Please make a full backup before.
Thanks for the reply,
The problem i am currently facing is, despite creating a Mobile Page (Version 2) for Blog Post (Single Page), a lot of times the responsive version (Version 1) of the website is being loaded in the mobile view. What i want is to load only the Mobile Page in mobile devices.
Responsive Version (The One that’s being loaded): https://snipboard.io/JXbM0F.jpg
Mobile Page (The One I want to load): https://snipboard.io/n0WqbV.jpg
Cloud Library Single Template Setting: https://snipboard.io/WEAvQm.jpg
Hello,
I recommend you to use the Single Post Template from tagDiv Cloud Library, and there should be no more problems -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1R3j1QYod0
Thank you!
Hello,
Is possible to have a Single Post Template from Cloud Library, then you need to edit the post with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/jHatJGC1qRf, select the Single Post Views => https://www.screencast.com/t/NhUGCRfI and with right-click, you can delete it.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please deactivate the tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Libra plugins, delete and re-install tehn again from Newspaper plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/WLy01lbc and after go into the theme files in those paths -> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/state/single/tdb_state_single.php -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php and uncomment those lines of code -> https://i.imgur.com/ZbzhdAm.png -> https://i.imgur.com/HrqwKjQ.png
Thank you!
Now we’ve backed theme updates out to version 11.4.3. It seems to be running without the footer now. Our hosting provider WPMU has given us the following stacktrace for your review:

Hello Highlifeng,
That it is because the old version was made based on standard templates that can be edited using the settings from the theme panel. Those options can be bring back if you activate the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin.
The new version of theme is based on cloud templates, those can be edited with tagDiv Composer on frontend, so you can see in real time how the website will look.
Also, here are some video tutorials -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg
Thank you!
Hello,
Please try to deactivate, delete and reinstall the tagdiv Cloud Library.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure also, tagDiv Cloud Library is activated.
Thank you!
Hi,
I waited for the traffic volume to come minimum at night and did what you asked. Deactivated all the plugins, cleared the cache and stuff from my browser. No change.
This problem solves once I deactivates the tagdiv Cloud Library plugin. But If i does that, my homepage is kind of crashed with some codes, as I used cloud library to create almost all my pages.
What should I Do?
Hi,
add this code to your functions.php
function get_excerpt_by_id($post_id){
global $post;
$save_post = $post;
$post = get_post($post_id);
$output = get_the_excerpt();
$post = $save_post;
return $output;
}
and change post subtitle code to call excerpt (file is in td-cloud-library>state>single>tdb_state_single.php
$this->post_subtitle = function () {
$dummy_data_array = array(
‘post_subtitle’ => ‘Sample Post Subtitle!’
);
if ( !$this->has_wp_query() ) {
return $dummy_data_array;
}
$post_subtitle_array = array();
$post_subtitle = get_excerpt_by_id($this->get_wp_query()->post->ID);
$post_subtitle_array[‘post_subtitle’] = $post_subtitle;
if ( empty( $post_subtitle ) ) {
if ( tdc_state::is_live_editor_iframe() || tdc_state::is_live_editor_ajax() ) {
return $dummy_data_array;
}
}
return $post_subtitle_array;
};
Hope it helps.
For me it is trying to make GeoDirectory work. I did the same, created a new CPT template based on cloud library but I can’t make it pull any data or assigned it to be the template for the CPT.
Hello!
From what I can see, you use default templates for some posts. So, it’s normal that mobile page won’t be applied for those articles.
Make sure all your articles have assigned that post template for which you’ve created the mobile page.
Documentation here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Thank you!
Hello,
For this, you should use cloud templates. You can have different ads in every post/article/header/footer if you use a different template for each. If you want the same design, you can duplicate the templates.
Check this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-logo-in-categorypage/;
We recommend using cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the tagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Check also our video tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/c/tagdivThemes/videos and more theme documentation on the left side: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
Thank you
Hello!
Unfortunately, you can not add only the menu, but whole header template from the Cloud Library.
That background you applied is active on hover over the item. If you need a background all the time, then please change the background color from the CSS tab of that element.
We try to answer as soon as possible, we answer from oldest to newest.
Please be patient!
