Hello!
For example if you use a cloud template or flex blocks, then you can resize them because you will have an option into the element’s settings.
Thank you!
I downloaded Homepage mobile ArtistPRO from cloud library and created a mobile page as shown in the following screenshot.
https://www.screencast.com/t/Lgq8Uu0LWdY
However when I open my site using mobile phone, Homepage mobile ArtistPRO does not work. Instead, mobile theme in theme panel works. How can I use Homepage mobile ArtistPRO instead of mobile theme in theme panel?
My site address is http://www.designgised.com
Hi,
As I said before if it is not a cloud header or mobile theme plugin then you cannot disable it.
The only way is to hide it with custom CSS.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
I checked now and it seems for the latest prebuilt Websites we didn’t upload in Cloud yet all the elements.
Thanks!
I don´t use cloud header or mobile theme. Any option to deactivate without this options?
Hi, I would like to import just the homepage template, or I would like to import the post blocks.
Check on your Cloud. The desktop version seems to be unavailable.
PS. If I import the entire template, various elements are replaced. And this I would like to avoid.
Hi, the “Desktop” version of the “Artist PRO” theme is not available in the Cloud.
I’m talking about this:
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_artist_pro/
Only the mobile version is available on the Cloud.
Why? Is a mistake?
Thank you
Hello Amit,
Thank You for your update.
I have unsubscribed the Cloudflare APO due to compatibility issue. Again If I can get the subscription only I can test the code.
May I know the details of the code? What the code will do?
BTW Thank you for your suggestion on your Blog which was really helpful and improved the performance and Google PageSpeed Insights score.
Thanks
Giri
Hi celhil, if you are sing the latest theme version, Newspaper v4.9.6 then the mobile theme can be disable on pages and posts -> https://i.imgur.com/SNSa4oo.png this option is available in Gutenberg editor, you can check more in our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The Newspaper theme has another option for mobile , this is the mobile page/template, but for the moment this is not optimize for amp.
To migrate from a theme to another is quite tricky, for example if you use a demo and you made some changes on that demo content, this will be lost (when a demo is uninstalled/change the content of that demo is removed pages/posts/categories), you must duplicate that content to make sure that after you migrate everything is ok. Also if you have settings made in theme files, those will be lost, if you use a child theme, this need to be changed. As a conclusion, it can be done, but you must be very carefully.
The Cloudflare APO was not tested with the theme, but we have t on our list, unfortunately, I do not know to say a date when this will be tested.
Thank you!
Hello !
Is that the only post template that you have ? Please check the Cloud Library and make sure that there are no others post templates. If you have one more that may be the reason why you still have the code loaded.
Let me know the result !
Thank you !
Hello!
You need to have Newsletter plugin and Cloud Library plugin installed and active.
Then, you should be able to find the demo here: https://www.screencast.com/t/xjTOqn9Y
Thank you!
Hello!
Please give me more information about which post template you use or also a link to your website in order to inspect more into your issue. Because if you use a cloud/PRO template, then you can edit that with TagDiv Composer plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hi Bettina, I have gone through the documentation here https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/ on Smart Lists but maybe I am missing the information on how to find which posts I have already created as a smart list? I see the documention shows how to create a smart list and I know how to do that. I have created many over the years, at least 100 in fact. However I want to find those 100 posts that are smart lists in the backend of wordpress. I explain more here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/wbu98rvw so as you can see from that video I want to be able to find the posts I have created in the past that are smart lists?
I hope this is clearer now. Thanks
Hi,
my Newspaper themed website is at De Veldhovenaar and I have a screenshot for you to look at here:
The submenu div of the megamenu is way too far to the left. This you can clearly see on the screenshot.
What I tried:
I really think it looks awful like this and I know it can work. Just have no idea why this is happening.
Please help me fix this!
I am trying to do everything I can from the documentation but it doesn’t seem to work the way it should for headers. Could be from a plugin conflict but all I have are essential plugins and I can’t disable any of them permanently. The sidebar issue in cloud library post templates got resolved by disabling WP bakery which is funny actually as it came bundled with the theme itself. I would have to function with the mixed setup of standard pack and cloud templates. Does that impact site speed in a major way? Secondly will appreciate if you can help me with the following:-
1. How do I change the colour on scroll to top button? For e.g. by default its blue.
2. I see that the colour of an element’s text, background etc. can be changed in the style section of an element. What do the colour boxes accept? A colour code with a hash tag? Because I do that and it doesn’t seem to save, maybe because of a plugin conflict again. Or probably the host, as they manage the cache on server side.
Thanks for all the help in advance, appreciate it very much.
Hi Calin,
on our site we are using NewsMag a couple of years. The problem is, that our score on PageSpeed Insights for mobile is terrible. Now I’m testing the mobile theme in a staging area and the options for the mobile theme are very limited. For example there is no possibility to disable the mobile theme on the startpage, or create an own theme for mobile.
In considering that google will publish the new ranking factors in may 2021, I think it would be recommendable to put more energy into the mobile version. And this is only possible with the Newspaper Theme, right?
If it is so, then I think I must change the Theme from Newsmag to Newspaper.
Can you tell me, how I should proceed to change the theme from Newsmag to Newspaper?
It is possible to migrate everything (Layout/Pages/Settings) from Newsmag to Newspaper?
We are using Cloudflare as CDN and it is absolutely necessary, that we are using the Cloudflare APO before May. Does the Newspaper theme supports the Cloudflare APO for desktop and mobile theme?
Thank you in advanced
Andre
Hello,
In most cases when you get a similar message “ Error at zones: 2(models): 0(dom). T.. The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” then indeed it is a problem, most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.
For this error, you can check our guide from here at point 5 -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
If you sent an e-mail, our team will take a look and reply to you as soon as possible.
Thank you!
Hello Constantin,
Unfortunately, if you don’t use cloud header you can’t disable it or only if you don’t want to use it at all to deactivate it.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello !
Indeed the footers are the only templates that cannot be edited directly from Cloud library. In order to edit it go into a page where that footer is set, open with tagdiv composer and scroll to the bottom of your page: https://www.screencast.com/t/JkXredRqd8x
From the website manager you can select the footer, scroll to the bottom and simply edit the template.
Thank you !
Hello!
If you use a default template, then you need a CSS code, but if you have a cloud template, then you can change it when you edit the page with TagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hi, I created a “Podcast” post block on the homepage.
I have successfully set up posts with SoundCloud.
On the homepage you can see the title of the post above the SoundCloud audio player. Is it possible to remove the link only on this post title?
That way, only the player and the title of the non-clickable post would remain (the podcast is already listenable on the current page, I don’t need anything else).
Thank you.
Hi
I have an issue with the editor of template that does recognize create templates.
Here is my actions :
Cloud Templates -> Add New
Select a template like “Footer – Arette PRO”
Click on Save template
Redirected to the TagDiv Composer
Click on Save in TagDiv composer
Click on Close
Then when coming back to the Cloud Templates list
The template is here but the menu only offer : Edit | Trash | View | Duplicate and not “Edit with TagDiv Composer”
The choice is however proposed on previous templates created a few hours ago
I tried to copy paste code from a working template to a non working one (tdc_zone block), but even if the code is identical, the editor choice is not present
Could you please tell me what is the change to do to correct the issue ?
Thanks
Salut, in cazul versiunilor mai vechi ale temei, care nu au Cloud Template, cum se poate dezactiva acel live search ?
Hi Anamaria,
Thank you for your reply. Indeed we are using Cloudflare, and we have never enabled Rocket Loader for this domain name. Additionally, we had been having this problem on our development subdomain in the first place, for which we are not using Cloudflare, and the behavior is exactly the same there also.
Anyway, sure, let us continue this thread via email.
Thank you!
Hello,
If you send an email, our team will take a look and will answer you as soon as possible and please let’s continue this thread via email.
Also, if you using the Cloudflare make sure the Rocket Loader is disabled => https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thank you!
