Hi!
I have a fresh install of both WordPress and Newspaper. When i create a page i can edit it with Tagdiv composer at first if, but as soon as the page is saved as a draft or published I get the following error notification if editing with Tagdiv composer again: Error at zones: 6(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z).
Moreover, if I set a page as the site start page I can edit it with no problems. If I try to edit a drafted page the following error is displayed in the “Add new” view: Updating failed. Error message: The response is not a valid JSON response.
Installed plugins:
- Akismet Anti-Spam – inactive
- tagDiv Cloud Library
- tagDiv Composer
- tagDiv Social Counter
- tagDiv Standard Pack
- WP Super Cache – Same error before installing this plugin.
I have checked all Requirements for Newspaper and respected all relevant requirements, as well as the relevant point on the Tagdiv composer not working without any success. System status looks all green.
This is a completely new installation and I’m very surprised it doesn’t work out of the box. Any help is appreciated!

So if you have set a footer cloud like this -> https://i.imgur.com/e9lLIpG.png you need to open the homepage and edit it with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/URD07tP.jpg after the frontend editor is open scroll down to the footer and edit it how you want -> https://i.imgur.com/fNhc8k0.png

Actually there is a new issue. I’ve tried placing google in-article ads via Tag Div Composer for the cloud template but it’s not showing only for the “In-article” placement. It DOES show for the article top and bottom placement. Can you please help with that issue?

Heya! Renewed my support JUST so I could get the help I needed today.
My site: MilkyWayPhotographers.com has been a battle.
What is most likely the root source of my problems are plugins. But WHICH ones?
I have deactivated all of them to edit the site down to no longer need Standard Pack. I was forced to use a front page news article template that looks worse than what I want just to fix my site for removing the Standard Pack and hopefully benefitting from the speed fix.
The following are constant errors & issues I run into:
- Cannot save changes in TagDiv Composer. Save Icon just spins and spins the loading circle and never commits the save.
- Even the new cloud templates will allow ONE save. After the first edit I can no longer edit them. I have to delete the use and recreate it and make ALL my edits in the FIRST ATTEMPT otherwise my save won’t commit.
- My BBPress forum simply will NOT accept a CSS change to fix the background of the main DIV container from anything but white ever since the move to v.10
- Shortcodes are hit and miss. I recently resolved a problem that persisted for several months by no longer using the RAW HTML frame but something else that I cannot check because my page won’t load in TagDIV composer for the reason I list next.
- CONSTANTLY get the error message “This was not created with TagDIV composer” even though EVERYTHING has been made with tagDIV composer.
- Regularly I cannot get pages to be recognized or editable in the TagDIV composer. Something that used to work consistently is now even more broken than it used to be IS MY EXPERIENCE. Hoping this can be fixed.
That is a good enough list for now.
I use large paid for plugins like YOUZER and WPACHIEVEMENTS which come with little plugin requirements. But the remaining plugins I have can be used or cut in SOME cases.
Which ones are incompatible? I do NOT know. When I try removing them by deactivating them it doesn’t fix anything. AND I AM NOT WILLING TO DELETE THEM when I have users and their submitted images, galleries and data at risk of being lost.
What support can I get to look in these issues?
Yes there are many, I would settle on TagDIV composer working 100% of the time.

I think that you only enable the option from them panel -> https://i.imgur.com/XUi5Cos.png this is only for the blocks and modules that are displaying on homepage.
If you want to use the modified date on post on responsive version of Newspaper theme ( not mobile theme plugin ) you need to use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, because this option is only on templates from cloud, and set the single post modified date element using tagDiv Composer

I think that Catalin L. suggest to disable cloudflare only for a test to see if a new post will still display the date on google results or not, after that you can enable the cloudflare.

Hi, i’m making an header in which i have the logo (on the left), the menu (center) and search (righ side). if i use the 3 columns division, i noticed that the center menu is not on the same line (i have two columns of menu). id’ like to have a more spaced column for the menu, in order to have all on the same row. Is it possibile?

First please update the theme from Newspaper 10.1 to10.3.1 in the version that you are using were some bugs.
Scenario 1 can be achieve how you need if you make some changes in theme file to replace the search icon with your code for language selector, for this you need to edit these 4 files wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/header-menu.php, header-menu-2.php, header-menu-h1.php and header-menu-h1-2.php and the link with this id td-header-search-button-mob need to be replace with your code -> https://i.imgur.com/yXBeq6k.png
Scenario 2 if you are using a cloud header, you can edit it with tagDiv Composer and you can change on mobile the menu from here -> https://i.imgur.com/2euHyiE.png also is possible that in the version that you have now to be some problems with these options. Gadgets is not pro demo. If I use cloud literary, some function will failed. I dare not do this.

In order to solved this problem you need to make sure that you are using the latest version of Newspaper, v10.3.1 and you have two options:
1. You can install a PRO demo.
or
2. You can import cloud templates from tagDiv Cloud Literary and set theme in theme panel to replace the standard templates.
After that you need to disable the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin and the problem should be solved.

I am currently using a managed vps with LiteSpeed enabled Cloudflare, using wp-rocket as cache plugin( i know wp super cache is recommended but wp-rocket is showing better results) using Imagify to compress images.
I have gone through almost all available posts here, so please do not share a link of anything that I already know about without checking on the site mentioned.
I am also using the newspaper mobile theme separately, I tried to enable minify CSS files, but it causes problems if I am using the mobile theme, web version sometimes start throwing up the mobile version.
I think minify CSS files will work fine if do not use the mobile theme, but this will increase the page load speed for the mobile version.

I have disabled WPBakery plugin along with other plugins, the plugins that I activate are: tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Mobile Theme, tagDiv Newsletter, tagDiv Social Counter, tagDiv Standard Pack ….
but nothing has changed and it’s still the same problem …

If you don’t mind, I would like to go a little deeper into my problem – and maybe important for you to know, I’m very good with all the technical issues involved here, so I’m not afraid of very advanced and creative solutions ;-))) that you maybe can suggest:

So, my real problem here is actually the “language selector”! Which means, I tested two scenarios:
Scenario 1 – without cloud header (our favourite):
We keep the regular Main Nav and just on the phone viewport we switch to the Hamburger menu! But there is no Shortcode for the “language selector” since its not a tagDiv selector!
This I figured out, I added a polylang function to functions.php and put the according Shortcode into a textcolumn within the header. So far so good (you see what I mean when you reduce your browser size to phone viewport). Its not yet styled, but its working.
Better solution 1 for this: The much easier and cooler way would be to replace the search symbol in your header with my Polylang shortcode since we don’t need the search function.
Better solution 2 for this: If your Hamburger in this Scenario could have its own menu, I could put the language selector in this new menu (which I already created)! But your hamburger doesn’t take it, although I can select it in the composer when clicking on the Hamburger).
Scenario 2 – with cloud header:
I really really tried within a new cloud header template, to get the main menu to look as cool as it does without using a cloud template (as seen in the desktop viewport here: https://fm.lujong.org/menutest/)!
For comparison I have created a copy of the same test page with my cloud header template: https://fm.lujong.org/menutest2/
Styling wise, do you think I can really match the non cloud template menu version?
But, yet the bigger problem is: its not taking the Hamburger setting to the phone viewport! It works in the cloud template composer view, but when added to the page, the header is not showing any Hamburger in the phone viewport!!

What I have currently at the top of the homepage is a flex block pulling in a post (in the way that you’ve illustrated). However, the post content is styled as an excerpt which means it’s stripping out links, bold type, paragraph breaks, etc. I was just hoping to find a flex block that allowed for the post content to come through rather than just an excerpt.

Please note that now we recommend to use tagDiv Composer with tagDiv Cloud Library, these are theme plugins, Bakery Page Builder is a bundled plugin -> https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins, also in Newspaper X this plugin can provide conflicts with tagDiv Cloud Library.
You can set the full width for header in two ways, one for classic header like the one you are using you can force it from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/DFObxkt.png and second using a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library.
Also make sure that you do not have set any background color or image, because this will box your layout.
