Hi… I have not used tagdiv composer on this page… but it is assuming for some reason that I have.. even if I remove the shortcode. I don’t think it is a plugin compatibility issue. Is there a way to reset the page to default (not a TD Composer page)?

Hi,
With the tagDiv composer you can design pages using both the composer elements and also woocommerce shortcodes https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/ so products can be displayed in the page content. But actual single product pages can’t be created with the composer.
You could try that add-on for WPBakery, if it can be used to create product pages. I can’t say if it will work or not, maybe they can provide a trial version for you to test before purchasing. Or maybe they can provide a refund in case it doesn’t work.

This might be a simple question, but it has been causing sleepless nights for me for a while.
The link below is to a page on our site that we created with TagDiv Composer in Newspaper.
We want to use it as a template for similar category (Briefing Papers), but when we change the page for new content, it changes for all the pages that we create using it as a template.
How can I make this easier, since I need to create about 50+ pages for various briefing papers.

If you are using the last version of the Newspaper theme ( v9.7.3 ) there was implement some new conditions for a better compatibility with WPBakery, therefore, some elements will not be available in the tagDiv composer. This was made to prevent issues with the respective elements. The single image, widgets element, raw html… are some of them.
If you want to still have theme you need to deactivate the WPBakery plugin or replace the tdc_map.php from wp-content>plugins>td-composer>includes>tdc_map.php withe tdc_map.php from the previous version of Newspaper theme.

Thank you for answer. I managed to come very close by using the “display-posts” plugin. I used it exactly as you showed and inside the test area i pasted the below shortcode:
[display-posts category=”my-category” include_title=”false” include_content=”true” posts_per_page=”1″ wrapper=”div” wrapper_class=”td-post-content” order=”ASC”]
It works but it strips down all html tags. The result is a simple one-block ugly text.
In tagdiv composer it displays perfect but when i visit the front end, as soon as the page renders, all tags are striped. Could this be something solved from inside Newspaper?

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all plugins and let only tagDiv Composer , also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

I have the current version installed.
1. I went into TD composer to the header manager and clicked to import header template from the cloud.
3. It then asks me to activate theme but the thing is, my theme is already activated.
4. I then add purchase code to activate theme again and then it asks me to create a user account
which I already have.
Anyway can’t figure out how why I keep getting into an endless loop of saying I need to validate.
In the end I’m not able to do things like import the cloud elements.

@mindfulifit After you install the demo you can begin to customize it. Set your own logos, menus, edit the pages and set the blocks and grids to display your own content etc.
Start from the top for example, with the header. Set your own logo and menu, configure the header with your own data. The homepage which is provided when the demo is installed with content can be edited with the tagDiv composer, each element in it can be customized

Any suggestions why my site http://www.southantrimvox.co.uk (homepage only) is broken in Firefox and not in other browsers I’ve tried.
Any suggestions on what I can do to fix it. It’s built with tagdiv in WP pages. other pages are built using cloud templates. I updated from Newspaper 9.7.2 to 9.7.3 yesterday, but it broke the whole thing so I rolled back from a backup. I also updated tagdiv composer etc before I rolled back, it’s version 2.4.
I’m scared of updating this theme. Something nearly always goes wrong.

Hi,
By default that is not possible, that field can’t display shortcodes unfortunately. This will require modifications to theme/composer files to achieve. Modifications that will be lost after a theme update because they are not possible to do in a child theme anymore.
The better solution would be to maybe consider using a review plugin, that has the capabilities you require. Try some free plugins for example

Unfortunately in Newspaper v9.7.3 there is a problem between WPBakery, tagDiv Composer, child theme and tagDiv Cloud Library, if you have the child theme activate the post templates will not longer work,this problem will be fix as soon as possible!

We do not recommend using WP Bakery in posts. That issue can be caused by WP Bakery, you can use a single post template from the cloud library. https://tagdiv.com/cloud-library-page-templates-newspaper-theme/ and you can edit it using the tagDiv Composer.

@WalkerVI Sorry for this inconvenience, a scroll in the composer should be added by default in the coming updates. The solution from above could not work properly with Safari, the scroll may not appear unfortunately.

This message appear because you set a custom JavaScript for ads and this is not allowed in custom JavaScript section, please remove the code from there.

Unfortunately, the events plugin has not been tested with our theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme, sorry! Also, we cannot provide support for untested plugins.

The shortcode should be set in column textlike this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5Owaghye also depend on the shortcode, maybe the tagDiv Composer can not recognizes it, please make sure that you shortcode is working, and there is no conflict wit column text ( check to see if this is working by setting some text inside the wp editor ).
