Thank you for the email. I went to my cloudflare account and completely disable the cloudflare stuff. I then ensured that was a fresh page load and login. Then click the td composer and tried to remove the restaurant section that was at the bottom of the page. I saved and the green save came out from the top right on the screen. When I load the page or reload the td composer page. It did not save or remove the section I was trying to remove.

Since Today i can’t edit my homepage with the TD Composer as it shows the following error:

Error at columns elements 9(models):10 (dom). The model does not match…

Checking Theme and Plugins for Updates
I tried to deactivate and activate all plugins step by step.
RE-Installed the Tag Div Composer
Increased the WP Memory to 96 M on wp-config.php

Nothing affects the error message.

Hi, I stretched my rows and ended up somehow getting this http://prntscr.com/lahhx1 when I save the page.
But when I’m editing with TD composer it looks like this http://prntscr.com/lahkl0
Obviously, I want it to look like in the TD composer in 2nd screenshot, do you know what is the problem that causes the weird layout when I save the page? I literally didn’t touch anything else.

Hi, i am re opening this topic just to ask for an update.
Do we have now the possibility to create custom templates in the tagdiv composer and apply them to custom post types?
Thanks!

Hi,

If you refer to have the Font Awesome version 5 PRO icons integrate in tadDiv Composer, if is so, unfortunately for the moment this is not possible.

You can use the font awesome but you need to include the link from ( https://www.screencast.com/t/BWblCnaNfbyx ) https://fontawesome.com/how-to-use/on-the-web/setup/getting-started?using=web-fonts-with-css in Newspaper>Theme panel> Analytics/js codes section header
https://www.screencast.com/t/PIfdBMFUdAi

Now from https://fontawesome.com/icons?d=gallery&s=regular you can get the icons ( https://www.screencast.com/t/LrzLKmgn ) and set in your text/menus.
In menus: https://www.screencast.com/t/SNn3t06pW
https://www.screencast.com/t/Wu07KHDZzU

In column text : https://www.screencast.com/t/t4DmszZsgcXB

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you for your understanding.

I wanted to completely switch over to TagDiv composer, but can not do this because TagDiv composer does not have tabbed content. I created a topic about this here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/can-not-switch-to-tagdiv-composer-because-i-cant-remake-the-tabbed-content/

In this topic it was said that I can try activating both TagDiv ánd Visual Composer and only create pages with either TagDiv or Visual Composer, but not both at the same page. I have activated them both now and almost all my pages are fucked up. Any help?

I still want to recreate all pages with TagDiv composer except the pages where I need the tabbed content from Visual Composer till you guys have that added within TagDiv.

Hello srikanth,

Please check this using only tag div composer and tag div amp plugins active and see how it goes. Deactivate the other plugins to verify.
Let us know how it goes and if the issue persists, please provide wp-admin access so we can take a closer look.
Please make a backup before.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

I understand your problem, if it were something simple I would try to help you. Or if we had a dedicated theme modification or customization department that could assist in such tasks. But as it is we really can’t provide custom solutions, there is simply no time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The developer team is always working on implementing new features in the theme, composer, cloud library, improving the theme etc. We have to be careful with what new features are implemented in the theme, decide what is needed most, find the best method and also do it in a way that it will not cause a major impact performance wise.

What I can do would be to add a request on our list to be considered in the future. However I can’t promise anything unfortunately.

Thanks

Hi,

After theme update please try to update TD Composer, if this don’t work, please make sure that the theme system status is configured as mentioned in the requirements guide. Please follow the guide carefully
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Add this code in .htaccess
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi There

My TagDiv composer is not working after the 9.1 update. The page just keeps on loading. I know it is from the update, cause a staging copy I have with version 9.01 works fine. And there has not been made any changes to the page in the meantime.

I have only edited the page in TagDiv composer!

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi,

That is a big grid in your first screenshot. The title of the posts will appear inside the module. There are no grids that can display the titles bellow the module. Only blocks are designed like that.

You could darken the gradient color that is set to the bottom of the module
Default – https://www.screencast.com/t/ZYWq4o01
With a darker gradient – https://www.screencast.com/t/FKKTqJRW
I could give you a code for that if you should consider it, it will increase the height of the gradient and make it darker, so the titles will be more visible.

With a flex grid for example, you could set a background color over the meta info, directly in the composer

Hi,

In order to add a shortcode in a page using TD Composer you need to add a column text, click on edit content, switch wp editor form visual to text and paste the shortcode https://www.screencast.com/t/x42bJ74kd2m
Hope this will help you.

Thanks.

I have migrated from Visual Composer to Tagdiv Composer.
I use a handful of plugins on our homepage (Feedzy RSS for instance).
There are text blocks (“Text with title”, “Column Text” etc) where I use shortcodes to display content, like [feedzy-rss feeds=”http://somepage.com/feed”%5D. This works very well.
However, when I later want to edit the page, I no longer get to edit the shortcode but its rendered content.

So where the text block should contain [feedzy-rss feeds="http://somepage.com/feed"] it now contains

<div class="feedzy-rss">
<ul>
 	<li class="rss_item" style="padding: 10px 0 17px;"><span class="title"> <a href="http://somepage.com/link" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> A thing </a> </span>
<div class="rss_content"></div></li>
 	<li class="rss_item" style="padding: 10px 0 17px;"><span class="title"> <a href="http://somepage.com/anotherlink" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Another thing </a> </span>
<div class="rss_content"></div></li>
</ul>
</div>

I can’t seem to find a way to add a shortcode(for an installed plugin) into a page that uses the TD Composer. Is this not possible or am I just overlooking something? Thanks.

Hello imbob,

Yes, if you will use our page builder for post pages, using the Cloud Template. Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/ Use the Single Template for your posts and notice that these can be customized with TD Composer.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

@raigui1980
For composer problems there are a few things to check. First would be the requirements guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Insufficient resources most likely will cause problems.

If there is no need for modifications in that matter, in some cases the solutions from these topics worked for blank pages or pages not loading, you could give them a try if possible
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/

Please let us know if there still is a problem.
Thanks

Hi,

The changelog for the theme updates can be seen at the bottom of this page
https://themeforest.net/item/newsmag-news-magazine-newspaper/9512331
For each update the modifications and new features are mentioned.

There will be some differences but nothing major in terms of layout. It is always recommended to update both WordPress and theme when updates are available.

You could make a full backup to begin with, by a method of your choice. Then update the theme and the theme plugins you use (like Visual composer, social counter etc).

After you update the tagDiv composer plugin (our page builder) will automatically be activated. This may cause problems with specific Visual composer (now called WPBakery page builder) elements, in that case deactivate the tagDiv composer from the plugins panel.

Remember that you can tell us if you have problems after you update, we will help you.

Thanks

Hi,

Please use Thumbnails – Fix strange looking images on blocks, here you’ll find the documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/

For tagDiv Composer please check our documentation ( https://www.screencast.com/t/RoJ2ufvEVVt ) from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Is not necessary to create the page from scratch, you can use tagDiv Cloud Library

Important Note: Do not use both page builders on the same page! ( V Composer and tagDiv Composer )

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello guys!

I’m still not using TagDiv Composer, for now I use Visual Composer, but I’m thinking of using TagDiv Composer.

On the homepage of the site, I use Big Grid 7, but in the square that stands the image and the text, there are some images that are small and a small gray block appears. See image: https://www.screencast.com/t/DJd7XZfis

In the categories, I use the Big Grid 5 and the same problem occurs, the gray block appears on the sides. See image: https://www.screencast.com/t/x4bkImiitm5

How do I not show this gray block? Do the images need to fit to a fixed pattern?

Will TagDiv Composer also have these Big Grid? From what I’ve read, if I use the TagDiv Composer I’ll need to create the page from scratch, if using Visual + tagDiv Composer will conflict.

I await contact.

My site is: https://mobilidadesampa.com.br/

tagDiv Composer was not working (keep loading) because of below script in a .htaccess file:

# Force Trailing Slash
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} /+[^\.]+$
RewriteRule ^(.+[^/])$ %{REQUEST_URI}/ [R=301,L]

If I remove above Force Trailing Slash code, then works fine.

Thank you.
