Hi,

So you want to create a page with full width elements. There are full width elements to be placed in pages, like grids
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/ (10 types of full width grids)
Rows in pages can be stretched – https://www.screencast.com/t/LjPxJ1iLIIz
Header and Footer elements – https://www.screencast.com/t/HgtsNIs1
There are also multi-purpose elements in the tagDiv composer, you could check them out.

Thanks

I have opened it and it looks ok. Can I save it using TD Composer?

Hi,

You could first take a look at the theme requirements guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Insufficient resources can cause many problems.

Also try entering the code in the theme panel custom CSS section, check if that works. Or you could do that in the tagDiv composer. Set a negative margin top for the row containing the grid
https://www.screencast.com/t/APfISctkH

Hello,

Any demo can be made full width. You have to remove any background image or color though as if a background is detected, there cannot be any full width elements.
After you remove backgrounds, you can edit any page in the tagdiv composer and stretch the row: https://www.screencast.com/t/WIccrJTH

Thank you!

Hi,

Seems you solved the issue, the page looks fine
http://prntscr.com/jz2f6q
The demo pages are built with the tagDiv composer, as long as that is active the elements should be displayed as intended. We strongly recommend to use the tagDiv composer if possible.

Thanks

Hi,

Please provide some more details about the steps you are taking. What exactly are you doing that has produces that issue. Pages built with the composer should only be edited with the composer to add/modify/remove content, content added in any other way could result in problems.

Hello,

You have to stretch the row to full width from the row settings in tagdiv composer and then set a -48px negative margin in the css box model: https://www.screencast.com/t/vUGYi2E5

Thank you!

I am trying to design page in TD Composer and I am getting blank page.

I’ve enabled PHP errors in WP, and I am getting 2 messages:

Notice: Undefined variable: http_response_header in /var/www/wp/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/wp_booster/td_remote_http.php on line 219

Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in /var/www/wp/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/wp_booster/td_remote_http.php on line 242

How can I fix this?

Hello,

Please provide screenshots of what code you are getting. There should be no code shown. Maybe your plugin got disabled as it was not updated. Please access the plugins section of the thee and press the update button for the theme plugins and make sure tagdiv composer is active.

Thanks

Thank you, Simion.
But manipulating the excerpt in tp_modules.php has no effect on category-templates created with the tagdiv-composer. Where can I change this output?

Hi,

Glad it works properly for you. Not all plugins are however compatible with premium themes, this would be the case with most themes. This should be kept in mind.

As for the tagDiv composer there a couple of tutorials available, demonstrating it’s capabilities
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0ARTSimnUY&t=25s&list=PL6CsDkMaejhr2ExZCO73U11SSVKB9r_NE&index=6

Also take a look at the new Cloud library plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

Let us know if you have any questions, we will try to help you.

Thanks

Hi,

1. A featured image or video can be set for each post, but not a whole gallery if that is what you mean. Galleries can be created in the post or page content
https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/
So for example if you would like that the post begins with a gallery instead of the featured image, select a post template that does not display the featured image in the actual post
Post template 5 and 12 are like that
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-mcdonell-kanye-west-highlights-difficulties-for-celebrities/
-https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-blake-griffin-posterizes-aron-baynes-twice-in-clippers-spurs-game/

Or you could design your own template with the Cloud library plugin and the tagDiv composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

2. That could be a possibility in the future. With the cloud library plugin you can however you can create post template with or without those elements
https://www.screencast.com/t/snpkZzVs6J
You can choose which elements appear in the template.

Hi,

There are many icons to choose from, they are all provided by by the tagDiv composer
https://www.screencast.com/t/1cAe3ZqWo77
Try to clear the browser cache and check again, or test in a different browser.

Thanks

Hello najarfermin,

1)Unfortunately, it seems that the Widgets are not working to be translated with WPML. This thing has been added to our list of improvements for fixing but we cannot say for sure if this will be or not solved.
2)If you want to have more sidebars to your pages you should make some pages with TD Composer and add with this page builder the sidebars and from there you can choose more than options that Theme Panel.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

Please try the suggestions mentioned in this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/td-composer-stuck-on-loading/
The most common cause for that to happen would be insufficient resources, review the theme requirements. WP memory can be set higher than recommended if possible.

Let us know what you find, if you solved the problem let us know what worked.
Thanks

hi. I am trying to design a homepage.

I am using Big Grid 1. It has 48px of padding on top. I want to make it 10px.

Using tagdivcomposer, I enter this in the Live CSS Editor:
.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 10px;
}

I can see the change happen successfully in the preview, I save and close it, but the change never appears on the site. When I go back in to the CSS editor, the CSS I had put in there is gone. What am I doing wrong?

Look inside Newspaper>includes>demos>construction>pages and you will find them there. Copy the shortcodes inside the project.txt and contact.txt and paste in a new page(s) and edit with td composer as you like.

If you’re using visual composer, you need to have the plugin running, or replace the tags if no longer using VC, I believe.

(I don’t work here; I just had a bunch of that when moving from VC to the TagDiv Composer.)_

No. Just type ‘breadcrumbs’ on the search bar of the td composer on a page (click add new element and type in the search box) and you shall see it. Though it seems to work with the category templates from the cloud plugin.

There is also a breadcrumbs element in a tagdiv composer

There is?! I don’t see it! Have you done anything special to get it?

ctoweett

Following this topic. There is also a breadcrumbs element in a tagdiv composer, but it does not work on pages. Only shows a dotted line and then is blank when someone saves the page.

Hi,

When I create a new page it has the standard breadcrumbs at the top of the page. All of my regular blog posts also have the breadcrumbs.

As soon as I open the page in TagDiv composer to lay out a custom design, the breadcrumbs disappear. How can i get them back? I don’t like that they are visible on blog posts and un-edited pages, but are not visible on edited pages.

As an example, here is a new page that I created but did not open in TagDiv composer: https://dontdoanmba.com/blog/

Here is a new page that was created in the same way but then opened in TagDiv composer. No changes/edits made in TagDiv composer, I just opened it and clicked save: https://dontdoanmba.com/test/

Just open the page with tagdiv composer and then click on a block or element. Where you see row>column on the left (like this https://prnt.sc/j8pytg for example) click on the ‘row’ option. Then scroll down until you see “row stretch” and select your preferred setting from there. Repeat this for all items you have on that page.

Look under Newspaper>includes>demos>construction>pages>homepaage.txt and copy the code inside the file to a new page. You can then try to look at which code represents that section and copy it out of the rest of the code. Guss it should be this code (edit it with td composer)
