Hi,
Thank you for the suggestion, I will pass it along. Ideally all the theme plugins should be updated after a theme update. The tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugin will try to update automatically when the theme is updated, but sometimes this action fails.
I will add this on our list and it could be available in the future updates online changelog or theme package update log.
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately I cannot see any screenshots you provided. The tagDiv composer has a few text elements that you can use to display simple text or text and images
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2wJ8teMA3L6c
You simply have to choose the row layout that you want, then drag the desired element in the positions you want and configure it. The text color can be changed as you want using the WordPress text editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/G43fYEr4cr4D
Some of the elements seen in the screenshot I provided require the multi-purpose plugin to be active. Let me know if you have more questions or I misunderstood something.
Thanks
Hi,
So you are making changes to a page and after saving it the changes are not displayed. Try creating a test page and edit it with the composer. Save it then check if everything worked properly.
If the pages have been built with the tagDiv composer originally there would be no problem editing the pages again with it. In most cases issues with the composer have been caused by insufficient allocated resources
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If it displays the success message that would mean the page is saved and it should be displayed. If the old page is displayed instead, it could also be a caching issue, caused by a caching plugin or server provided cache, or maybe CDN.
Hi,
I believe it would be best to create different pages, for each language. Create a page in a language and add translations for it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XfBCfTlrK
Then as the user switches languages for example, the pages will switch as well and display the appropriate page content. You can use the composer to built any of these pages.
Thanks
Hi,
If you have a problem with the composer, first please check if it has been updated automatically (it is now version 2.2).
Also check the theme system status section, check if there are enough resources allocated
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If necessary contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase the parameters as mentioned in the guide.
Additionally try as a quick test to deactivate all other plugins except theme plugins and see if this has any effect on the issue.
If there is still a problem with the composer functionality, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, FTP and cPanel if possible as well. We will take a look. Mention what exactly is happening so we can test. Also include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
I see that you are using single images to display the ads. From what I can see, in this case the issue could be caused by both composers being active (tagDiv composer and Visual composer). These page builders have a different functionality for single images.
If you use Visual composer for the pages, please deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin. Then the links you set for the single images should work properly.
Thanks
Hi,
All the theme blocks and grids can be customized in terms of the content they display and sorting. Depending on their location, either edit the page with the composer and customize the element you want, or in the widgets section of WordPress (when blocks are placed in widget sidebars or footer)
There is a popular sorting, this requires post views to be enabled
– https://www.screencast.com/t/OlxpJJkS
Based on how many views the posts get, they will be sorted in the respective block or grid.
Thanks
Hello,
You missed an important step in the update. Updating the theme plugins. Please delete the current theme plugins you use now and install the plugins from the newspapewr 8.7.3 theme package (tagdiv composer, social counter, amp, etc.)
Thanks.
Hi,
In pages built with the composer you must enter a specific predefined class for the row, in the extra class field
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ghTiY9vFV
Then the sidebar in that row will be sticky. This is a guide in the matter
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/
Thanks
Hi,
I’ve upgraded to the new version of Newsmag. I had to disable Yoast to even be able to save my front page. Two things are still going wrong. One is the TagDiv Composer error (Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!), which I can live with for now… but the other is that every time I add a new block to my home page, all my content disappears as soon as I save the page, everything below the main menu… completely gone… anyone have any clues as to how to fix that?
Cheers,
Mark
Open the page with td composer. Click on the news ticker and you will see something like this on the left http://prntscr.com/j8pytg. Move your cursor to where it reads row>column at the top and click on row. Then scroll down until you see a delete row button with a black background. Save the page (and update it if you opened from the WordPress admin pages section).
Hi there,
I want to create a page with a sidebar on the righ and content on the left + some layouting using the tagdiv composer.
If I create a new page and don’t use the tagdiv composer, then I can use the wysiwyg text editor for my content, but I want to set some layout so I use composer.
My layout is quite simple (see screenshot)
The lines “Onze schoolvisie” is some kind of title and I will also add other layouts later, but my problem is best explained with a simple example.
Currently you see that there is an “empty inner column” and that is the location where I want to create the read PAGE-CONTENT of this page. This will be an article with different fonts, colors and even some inline images with right or center alignments.
Only….. how do I do that? Is there some kind of element that I can drag in there that gives me the ability to enter data in this position in a wysiwyg way?
I could of course exit the tagdiv composer and then try to edit some text and pictures between the [vc_column_inner] and [/vc_column_inner] tags, but I really wonder if this is the way to do it?
I can go into TEXT view also and enter my data with pure html, but then I wonder why I need wysiwyg at all…
Is this the only way to achieve this ?
Or can I drag some kind of element inside that empty immer column that would give me the ability to edit wysiwyg info inside there?
Kind regards,
Bart
I’m using Column Content control but in TagDiv composer I’m unable to see Title textbox and image selection.
Hi!
I’ve migrated my website created using Newspaper theme to a new server.
Now when I try to edit pages using Tagdiv Composer, it shows success but the changes are not reflected.
don’t understand what went wrong.
It’s critical as I’m unable to save changes.
I’ve received the following error when trying to load tagDiv composer for the Blog posts page on the crypto theme.
Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
I’ve tried removing all addons but I still get the error. I’m able to open TD composer on any other page so far (for example the home page)
Anyone had this before?
The contact form 7 is not working. Please provide the exact tutorial how to do it. https://realnewskerala.com/contact/
I tried with both visual and text. it is not working.

When I try with Tagdiv composer there is an issue with responsive. So I could not save the changes.

Hi, i’ve a doubt about translating pages. I have a site with the Spanish main language and i want to have the translation in English. I’ve installed WPMl. With the translations of the post, i have no problems. But i’m having problems with the pages translation. I’ve yet deleted the Visual Composer and only work with Tagdiv Composer. My doubt is:
a) Have i to create one Spanish page in tagdiv composer, and translate to English the fields thats WPML lets me, and after go to tagdiv composer and translate the remain English fields?
b) Or i have to create one Spanish page in tagdiv composer, and another English one, also in tagdiv composer, and assign this English version to the first Spanish version?
Which is the right way?
Hi, following a crash of my website due to a bad backup, the td composer plugin no longer works.
It no longer saves any changes and on some devices there is a flickering effect when I use it.
I built my whole site with it, so I ask you to solve the problem … it’s days I can not work anymore.
I trusted you by buying your theme, now I expect serious assistance.
If necessary, contact me by e-mail and I will give you the credentials to access my wordpress site and siteground.
Thank you.
Hey guys, does anyone have the newspaper theme setup only for a one page e.g. blog page on their website? and having the remaining pages using another theme?
I’m having a play around with this, there is a plugin called “multiple themes” which i’ve managed to set this up, and does work, however newspaper needs to be the active theme, and unfortunately i’m getting error messages when I try to edit existing or newly created pages with TD Composer. I also can’t install a demo with content without multiple errors occurring.
Would love to know if anyone else has gotten this working, another option I found would be setting up a multisite network under the same WP installation.
Josh
I’m trying to change the colour of the category background to something gradient, but in the TD composer it only gives me single colour choices.
I tried editing it in the custom css, but it wouldn’t change. Can I edit the css somewhere to change it from ‘background-color’ to ‘background:’

I have tried updating everything that I could possibly find in previous complaints about this issue and nothing has changed the problem. I’ve gone in and added lines of code to make sure everything in my system status is showing up as green and still nothing works. Whenever I click on the Edit with TD Composer button it just takes me to a blank screen (and yes I’ve also made sure the ssl addresses match like was suggested to someone else). Quite disappointed that I’ve paid for a theme which has given me more grief than any free one I’ve used previously.
When I try adding author box in my about us page with TD Composer. Then show Gravatar logo and ‘AUTHOR NAME’
Not show my Name and my Gravatar profile picture. Check it -http://blogkaisekare.com/about-us/
And please help me how to fix it.
hi, I’m a Chinese user and I’m in trouble about the Home page , I found there might be a bug in TD Composer, while I use english in the content, it show normal and shorter the text on my home page, but if I changed my content into Chinese, it won’t shorter the text, the content totally show on the page.
I’m confusing about it, hope somebody can help me to fix it, we really love your art design, thank you very much.

I have a BIG problem.
I would like you read the whole text carefully, it is important.
I started my journey on wordpress a few months ago.
I installed the theme, some plugins, and I began to customize the css of the website without knowing that I would first have to create a child theme.
A few days ago a man told me that, with the first update of the theme, I will lost all my changes without a child theme.
So I looked for a guide to update the theme (it was recently released a new version) without losing the changes.
I installed a plugin to make the backup.
I made the backup, and following the same guide on the internet, I tried to install the new theme, without success.
Wanting to go back then I took my backup of the theme and installed it: what happened? The site crashed due to the td composer plugin, integrated into my theme (probably something went wrong in creating the backup).
After restoring the site thanks to the assistance of siteground, the majority of the categories and widgets disappeared; moreover, as if this were not enough, the td composer plugin (the pillar of my website), after being reinstalled, now is flickering when i try tu use it.
Now I’ve recreated the missing categories and widgets, but the fact remains that I absolutely have to learn how to update the theme without crashing the site or losing the changes.
So what would I like to do with your support? I would like to create a correct backup of the site and proceed to update the theme without losing even a personalization (and of course resolve the crashing and the flickering of td composer).
