Thank you sir. But can I make a megamenu out of pages? So I can edit the pages directly with TD Composer? This megamenu of mine is from categories…

Hi,

What you are trying to do could be possible with then tagDiv composer. I see that you are using Visual composer, this has some options as well.
There is a setting that would allow you to hide columns on specific devices
https://www.screencast.com/t/9sPFL11K
You could add block 3 that looks as you want on mobile in a column below block 12. Then hide block 12 column on mobile
https://www.screencast.com/t/DcZzTqUL356r
And block 3 column on desktop
https://www.screencast.com/t/MtYsoudx
That way block 12 is visible on desktop, and on mobile blocks 3 will be visible. Use the same sorting on the blocks to display the same posts. This would be a solution if you should consider it.
There might be a way to make block 12 similar to block 3 on mobile with CSS, but maybe the above solution would be better.

Thanks

Hello tmerigan,

For your first question, I do not exactly understand what do you mean by unlimited footer? For more information about the footer styles please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Do you are referring to the logo which contains your company name? Notice that by default, when you tap on the logo, this will link you to the homepage. You should make a new button with your company name with a link. For this, you should use our multi-purpose section from TD Composer and use the Call button from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/tUHdT8FXL
If you want to get something like that, you should use the 1/3+1/3+1/3 layout and use some multipurpose element like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/an75nVjyjrR
Please check our multi-purpose settings because surely if you will check it, you probably find the answer there to all of your questions.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello. I have a problem with editing with TD Composer. I have noticed that I can edit only pages with TD Composer, not the sub-categories. Because it’s mega-menu, if I put the page of that category such as sub-category it appears twice and it’s all confusing. Can you please suggest me a solution? Thanks in advance!

It looks like a problem with visual composer. The problem is that it is set to be a column, but that is not reflected in the HTML.

Hello chauquocbao,

Unfortunately, please notice that our Mobile Theme does not recognize any shortcode from our page builder (TD Composer or Visual Composer) and that’s why this element cannot be added in mobile theme, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

That probably means you used Visual composer on the posts. This is happening because of the tagDiv composer introduced in version 8 of the theme.
This composer will be automatically installed and activated when the theme theme is installed or updated. Please go in the plugins section and deactivate the tagDiv composer. Everything should display properly then.

Thanks

Hi,

It is highly not recommended to edit pages built with one composer, with the other. The results would not be good. Visual composer specific elements such as the accordion will not be interpreted by the tagDiv composer.
You should decide on using only one builder for the website, to avoid any issues. We will add more elements for the tagDiv composer in future updates. An element similar to the Visual composer accordion is not available at the moment in the tagDiv composer, sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks

Hi,
IF you create a new page and then simply copy the code over from the old page, it will not change anything. The old code will still be present. You will have to re-create the page without copy/paste. Add elements in the tagdiv composer to the newly created page. If you still get the Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()! error then please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com

Thank you!

Hi,

The multi-purpose plugin has to be active to be able to use the new elements. This plugin was introduced in the previous them update. It ads a wealth of functionality to the composer.

Thanks

Hi,

The tagDiv composer should be installed and activated automatically when the theme is installed. If that did not happen it can be installed from the theme plugins section
https://www.screencast.com/t/Ht5CSgCgBw
Or install it normally from Plugins->Add new->Upload plugin
https://www.screencast.com/t/r4iZOCHc
The composer is located in the plugins folder in the theme package.

Thanks

Hi!

I am trying to use the accordion element from visual composer in a page, and it works. But, in the moment that I open the same page with tagdiv composer, the accordion is distroyed and only appears the full text that was inside the accordion. I mean, it is impossible to combine the accordion from visual composer and then use tagdiv composer in order to add an element or do whatever and I need to use it.

So the problem is that in tagdiv I don´t have the accordion element and I can not use it from visual composer and then go back tagdiv because the accordion will be break.

So, do you know some plugin, some html code that I can put in a column text in tagdiv composer o some solution for that? I only want a sample accordion like in the following screenshot.

https://screenshot.net/es/5l1n2td

Pd: I also would like to congratulate for the last update!! With the accordion element just would have been perfect, haha.

Thank you in advance 😉

Hi

I have tried 1 and 2 above and the problem remains
As per my post – this was a newly created page home page as the original was created in Visual Composer

Also, I have a second page, also created in TagDiv composer, that when i go to edit, displays an error message stating that it was not created in TagDiv – when it was. This error does then go away after a couple of seconds and I can continue.

Puzzling

Hi,

On pages created with the composer this should not be a problem. However on post pages and others you mention this could only be possible by modifying the theme container size
https://www.screencast.com/t/Z7MVn7rMHr
It is strongly not recommended to do so, this could cause the blocks and modules to not display properly.

Thanks

Hello,

We know of 3 possible causes for this issue.

1) The wp super cache setting to cache page. Please only use these settings in wp super cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you use any other cache plugin, make sure you do not cache pages for known users or for logged in users depending on the plugin setting.

2) Do not use this setting in seo by yoast: https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh

3) Editing a page that was previously built with another page builder.
You need to edit the page with the builder it was initially created with. Do not edit a page with tagdiv composer if it was not originally built with it. If you created your page in visual composer and then switched to our own page builder, you will have to re-create that page

Hello,

1) The front-end editor of wpbakery was removed in our theme from the very begging. Only the back-end editor can be used. If you need a front-end editor, please use the tagdiv composer (do not use it together with wpbakery.)

2) I have tested the border in wpbakery around a text block but it works as expected: https://www.screencast.com/t/qO6iUNboxQWFhttps://www.screencast.com/t/3aTAL1iSsU

Thanks.

Hi,

The tagDiv composer cannot be used for posts. It can be used only on pages. Buttons are available however on posts like this

Hello astranaar,

It’s two different things. From the Theme panel, you should make some changes over the whole theme regarding on Header, Footer, Ads, etc and the TD Composer is just a page builder and with it, you can create your custom page. Do you understand it? Please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Hello,

Please disable the tagdiv composer if you do not use it. IF you want to use visual composer you should disable the composer. If you do not know what the tagdiv composer is please check https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ but you should NOT use it together with the wpbakery builder as it will create layout issues.

Thanks.

Hello,

I’m not sure what you mean. You can edit your pages with the page builder and make the content full width. Please check the row settings for each row: https://www.screencast.com/t/9EhkFMcbHkxh
You can choose any blocks to use from our theme selection. There is also the multi-purpose plugin if you use the latest version of the theme which provides extra multi-purpose elements to the tagdiv composer.

Thank you!

Hi,

If you plan to use Visual composer as the page builder, please deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin. The composers have a different functionality for single images which could produce such issues.

Thanks

Hi,

There would be no need to use actual shortcodes to create pages. Simply place the desired element in the location you want. This is for Visual composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
And the tagDiv composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Those shortcodes can be be used on posts, to create a playlist or smart list. Button shortcodes have been moved in the formats section
https://www.screencast.com/t/70ffjR9ql4
The tagDiv composer builder cannot be used on posts. Visual composer can be enabled if absolutely required.

Thanks
