The images don’t appear to have links, they are single images with no links. The page seems to be built with Visual composer, the links should remain if that is how it was originally built. The link is saved for each single image when set, in the shortcode

You might need to set the links again for each image in those pages.

Hi, Please try to view your ads outside the page builder. The tagdiv composer will not render sidebars (widget sidebar) and ads live. Press the save button and then the view page button (eye icon)

I’ve installed only td-composer not js-composer, but the theme doesn’t work..

The new elements can only be used with the tagDiv composer, not Visual composer. The theme can still be used with Visual composer the same as before, just that these elements will not be available.

In my previous theme, I was using a plugin called Fast Gallery for Visual Composer, which had a lightbox effect of “Photoswipe”.
When I have swapped over to the Newspaper theme, the Photoswip lightbox no longer works.

You can see when you click an image, just the black screen is displayed.
This worked previously, it is only now that I have swapped themes.
Any ideas?

Can you tell me how to locate the Visual Composer plug in within the Newspaper folder?
All I could find is the includes>plugins folder where I see Td-Composer.zip and td-multi-purpose.zip but no Visual Composer file?

I made the page elements in the visual composer and I want to put those elements in the sidebar(https://www.pedagog.rs/proba-2 – I added these elements with shortcodes in the sidebar in custom html), but when a sidebar appears on some side, it does not look good (https://www.pedagog.rs/proba2). how to make the sidebar look the same as on the page https://www.pedagog.rs/proba-2.

Yes. I’ve used the Search Replace DB (https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/) and other steps to migrate. All images and links works fine. I noticed problems only in these three functionalities: 1) Visual Composer WPBakery Slide; 2) Ajax pagination; and 3) Search Link.
So far I have figured out you can’t just copy the patch files because that causes errors. If you copy the whole Newspaper theme it seems to work. Still have trouble with visual composer columns all defaulting to 100% after upgrade.

I’ve just found out that the tagDiv Multi-Purpose has been added to the theme. Is it possible to use only the tagDiv Multi-Purpose instead of the tagDivi composer?Or do we need both plugins for the theme to work correctly?

I really appreciated your team once for the great template.
But you people totally screwed it up by bringing tagdiv composer which supports only pages. My blog consists of only posts which is getting conflicted with td composer.
Whats is the use when your plugin wont support posts, I have only 2-3 pages for those why I will then go for your plugin rather I will use only visual composer.
I have to download the full template every time the version gets updated and update my visual composer thats again a manual update I have to do.

@dalekurt If the theme system status is set properly, something else must be causing the issue. Please try as a test to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, then check if everything works as intended.
Also check while editing the page with the composer, in the browser console. See if there are any errors present while trying to use the editor. Let us know the results.

I’m looking for ways to give my blog more corporate identity, but prefer staying with Tagdiv for it’s great Theme Panel and Composer. (and support) I really like the look of this blog – it looks like what I have in mind. With some effort could I tweak Newspaper to something alike, or what would be the limits making it impossible?

I have following message on my WordPress dashboard.
“Open Design Options: Important notice: You have an outdated version of WPBakery Page Builder Design Options. It is required to review and save it.” But I installed the newest version of Visual Composer (5.45) and your newest version of Newspaper Theme 8.5.
When I click I get to knowhere. I do not have the rights to work on it I get the message.
How can I fix it?
