Hey there,
as the title suggests, Is there a way where I can control the width between the columns (for the images specifically)? I understand that the composer has settings provided for it. However, I seem to realise that the spacing comes from the css instead (column width padding left and right as well). Thus, if I were to alter the code via css, it would affect many factors (such as the entire column width etc.)

Please see brookline.com for how I have integrated 970×250 ad below the main menu only for the home page. My question to you is what is the code, which was added to the page using the TD Composer, which I can use to add to the Custom CSS code in order for the add box and background image (the bar code to the right – used as a filler of the remaining empty space) to appear in the HEADER for ALL pages.

The side-bar is not showing in the posts and I have tried everything that I could think.
– Disabled all the plugins except the visual composer.
– Tried reversing all the things I did before it was working.
– Also tried to use chrome inspect to see the problem. I think it is just failing to load.

Is it possible to build a custom category page with TD Composer or Visual Composer? If yes, how can I do that?
We’ve been using TD COmposer for couple of years since it was in beta as descendant of the ‘shim’ workaround for VC. For us, it’s 10x faster, less bloat, more secure, etc.
But we only use it for home page layout and nothing else for our news magazine sites. We’re not building corporate sites with it or similar. Hence “newsmag” theme for news magazines.
Back in 2013/14 VC used to kill our old server with weird CPU spikes, driving the system from .09 to 70 (something like 7,000x normal!). We have had ZERO issues with TDC on literally one dozen websites with both Newsmag and TD IonMag.
So, I’m probably one of the first big cheerleaders for TDC over VC. But again, I never used VC for “page layouts” or “corporate info page” sites. Just for news magazine home page layout, since posts and pages for rest of a news portal don’t need complex layouts (in our case anyway).
There is a side by side analysis — I think there might even be one on the current newsmag sales page on ThemeForest ?

As the title says, I am having an issue with the Homepage post content style block in Visual Composer.
As you can see here geeklyng.net , the article being displayed as the homepage post is stuck all the way to left only showing half of the featured image.
I’ve added custom CSS within the entry line for it, but I cannot seem to get it to be center, showing fully on screen rather that only half
Is Tagdiv faster and better than VS?
Is there any testimoni or analysis?

Tagdiv Composer is creativity. It’ll be the alternatives for Visiual Composer in the future.
When using Visiual Composer, i can not place Font Awesome icons with the <i> tag (ex: <i class=”fa fa-home fa-fw” aria-hidden=”true”></i> doesn’t display) 🙁
Generally you can’t edit a Visual Composer page with TagDiv Composer — two totally different things, based on my own experience.
Hi. Mee too. Dont’t save changes on Visual Composer Grids in the pages. What is happening?, Pressing save button does nothing, does not save changes…Please we need support.
I have a static front page which I designed using Visual Composer. Now I wanted to make few changes to the page but Visual Composer isn’t working. Opening the page to edit doesn’t give me the option to select backend editor and also my template is not showing up. Clicking on Tagdiv composer just takes me to a blank page.
Please help me fix the issue so I could edit the page.

Thanks for correcting the missunderstanding. I guess mobile theme is not a proper option to use with Newspaper theme for the moment. It would be wonderfull to have it as almost everyones now visitors are mostly using (%70) mobile devices. Desktop version of the city is actually less important than the mobile version. Anyway…
I am not sure if that is connected but since you accessed to site with the credentials I gave here My “tagDIV Composer” not working no more. An endless loading circle comes up when you hit “Edit with TD composer” on top bar. I reinstall the plugin, did not help either. Also Unique Articles is not working either. When I hit “Unique Articles” on a page settings it’s takes me to same place and no where else like I never clicked…
That did started like yesterday or early this morning. Would you please check if you did any change when you accessed to check with Mobile Theme menu issue…

When using visual composer, please make sure you disable the tagdiv composer plugin.
If you want to hide a row, you cna do it from the column settings on each column in particualar under responsive options:

From what I can tell, the row containing the image is not stretched. Please check if that is the case by editing the page in the composer and checking in the row settings, for the row where the image is placed

I have two questions:
1. After installing the theme, I decided to migrate hosts. My host, cloudways, recommend their own migrator…but now my theme is not activated…how do I get around this?
2. (On the old host, verified version) When I go to Pages -> page -> edit with TD composer, it shows me a loading screen that seems to get stuck loading. What is the solution?

It seems there is a bit of misunderstanding here. When you use the mobile theme plugin, content for mobile pages has to be entered in the Mobile editor for each page, just as the guide specifies

Content in pages built with the composers will not be displayed. This is meant to improve the performance on mobile, keep things as simple as possible.
Please note that the mobile theme plugin is optional, you can simply deactivate it. Then the same pages and content from desktop will be displayed on mobile. The main theme is fully responsive and will adapt to every device.

I need your help. On my site guntmarwolff.com I cannot edit or delete the last block (if you scroll down it is the last one above the footer, where it says: “Neueste Beiträge). TD Composer does not realize this part and wordpress shows that it is not a widget. How can I get rid of this part?

About the Visual Composer. That comes with the theme plugins. We never needed it actually. Will problem be sloved if I disable visual compuser?
Would you please come up with a solution. https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ just a show case not giving much solution with our issue.
Please tell us what to do to make Mobile theme works fine with links when mobile displays.

You could simply enter the image in a column text or text with title element, this will display the exact image as entered

The single image element will be further improved over future updates, and also more elements and options will be added to the tagDiv composer.

The tagDiv composer is fully tested and compatible with the theme. It is created specifically for the theme and it should work properly in all cases. But other factors may interfere with the functionality.

A recommendation would be to reinstall the theme by FTP

Use only theme plugins, deactivate and delete them and reinstall them from the theme package. Do not make any modifications to the theme files, check any custom code you might be using. If you use a child theme switch to the main theme.
Then check if everything works properly, let us know the results.
