Hi,
ok I found out how to deactivate this in firefox and chrome and allow the browsers to load the page (and hence tagdiv composer). This will help at the moment.
But could you please take a look into this why unsecure content is loaded?

I am using a SSL Zertifikat and it seems that this leads to a problem when trying to use the tagdiv Composer.
When e.g. clicking in the backend the link “Edit with TD Composer” (https://picload.org/view/dglpgida/bildschirmfoto2017-10-04um01.1.png.html) for a page the composer is opened, but the content is not displayed (https://picload.org/view/dglpgidr/bildschirmfoto2017-10-04um01.1.png.html).
When using the developer Tools to check if there are any errors a security error is displayed with:
Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://www.mudradar.de/wp-admin/post.php?post_id=23&td_action=tdc’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure resource ‘http://www.mudradar.de/?td_action=tdc_edit&post_id=23’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
The Url of the page I tried to edit is no longer https but http. When trying to copy the URL from the console and just add a “s” behind http manually and open it up in the browser only the frontend (without tag div composer) is shown.
How can I resolve this?

I know where the “Related Articles” section shows up. I meant to say, i wanna know how to configure it, like changing the tab color for example. It dont show up anywhere (widget section of composer) like any other block.
Thank you Simion. That worked, only the arrow stays behind, its didnt became black, but stays grey. How come?
I just bought the Newspaper theme from themeforest and the Tagdiv Composer is a required plugin for the theme, so it automatically installed it when I activated the theme. Yet I have no license for the product, or so it says? When I tried downloading a demo with all files included I could use the plugin just fine. So I obviously have a license for it. Please help! the theme pretty much doesn’t work without the Composer plguins.

It would be helpful if you could provide some examples of what exactly is happening with the block, if there is a problem. The theme width is fixed, and all the elements on the page are dependent on this width.

TD Composer is still the cirle of death and I cannot submit anything in the theme settings.

1. I have a block with recent articles under each article. But where is it located? I cant find it. Its not in the widgets section and it dont show up in the composer. So where is it?
2. In this recent articles block i wanna change the color of the borders/outline of the small previous and next buttons (these http://i64.tinypic.com/5bbt06.png). They need to be the same color as the tab itself, which is black. In a similar way as all my other blocks (see here https://www.dagonline.nl). In all my other blocks i added a extra class + custom CSS to change the colors. How can i fix this?

Hi,
Please note that content for mobile pages has to be entered through the Mobile editor. Pages created with the composers will not be displayed. This is meant to improve the performance on mobile and give the opportunity to present a simple website version on mobile devices.
The mobile theme plugin is optional, it can be deactivated. Then the same content from desktop will be displayed on mobile, adapted for mobile due to the main theme full responsiveness.
The logo is recommended to be of this size for best results on mobile devices

Since this morning, without making any changes to our websites, the newspaper theme admin stopped working.
Theme panel is displayed but nothing works when you select menu items, such as ads. Only the import/export tab works. Also, td composer does not open, it spins, cannot edit pages.
Please help as we have important modifications to do and we cannot do anything.

I’ve played around with the theme some more and I do see the value in your TagDiv composer but I’m still missing some features that VC has that I could use.
Do you know of a shortcode plugin that works alongside your composer that can give me features like shortcodes for tabs, accordions, and columns?
For instance, would any of these plugins work?

After the latest update the TD Composer stucks on loading screen…no chance…

Also…I just noticed I cannot click on any button at the theme panel.
I retried to enter my purchase code…also…I can´t click on submit.

Thank you very much for you immediate response but, I think there is a misunderstanding here.
The tagDiv Composer was working fine for the administrator before the changes I made to the tdc_main.php.
I asked a way to give access to the editor to use the tagDiv Composer.
You recommended me a code change to tdc_main.php file which I made and, after that, neither the administrator nor the editor had access to the Composer.
To solve this, I uploaded the original file (tdc_main.php), meaning that the changes you recommended were gone, and everything got back to normal.
THE ADMINISTRATOR CAN HAVE ACCESS TO TAGDIV COMPOSER.
So there is no problem with my PHP, my hosting etc
My question remains the same: is there a way for a user with “editor” role to have access to tagDiv Composer?
If not, no problem. Just let me know so I can give a clear answer to my client.

Nice, you are getting there almost.
Now you just have to access design options and make a few adjustments. Click the social icon element in the tagdiv composer and use the css box model: https://www.screencast.com/t/PjnxUry3Le to add margin and padding. You might want to stretch the content as well so your social icons do not fall on 2 rows.

Unfortunately this is the default implementation of visual composer. We cannot provide any solution in this regard as you will need to modify the default plugin implementation. There is no simple css fix for this.

Please try to deactivate all other plugins except visual composer and clear all caching. Then test again. It is most likely a plugin conflict interfering with the normal functionality of VC.

1. Im making a newswebsite. I added categories to my menu. I have a ‘Video’ categorie also (https://www.dagonline.nl/video/). I wanna show my YouTube playlist when people click on ‘Video’ from the menu. But since it’s a categorie, i cant add any HTML there. What is the best way to do so? Do it from a page and add the page to my menu?

3. Is adding the YouTube ID in the TagDiv Composer the quickest way to update my playlist?
4. Since its a newswebsite, there will be a lot of ID’s. Are the ID’s unlimited?

We are looking into adding new elements to our tagdiv composer but for the moment an accordion element is not present among the tagdiv composer features. I cannot say for sure if an accordion will be added or not. The developers decide what elements will the composer get.

Unfortunately that is a custom implementation made specifically for the voice report demo. If you want to replicate it on another demo, you will need the css code: https://www.screencast.com/t/l4I5hBeOXk and you need to create the element in the tagdiv composer and adjust it’s row settings and design options.

When adding a page, the visual composer does not appear on the page. Additionally, when I duplicate an existing page that uses visual composer, the visual composer suddenly disappears for the duplicated page.

The main theme is fully capable of displaying the website on mobile devices, the mobile theme plugin is optional.
If the composer is not working properly, first please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary

You could ask your hosting provider to make them for you, if needed. Then make tests again, there should be no more issues. If the problem is still present, a next step would be to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and clear all caching.

The unique articles option will ensure that the content loaded on initial page load will be unique, meaning no duplicates. This is affected by pagination however, if this is used

The theme and provided plugins are tested with these plugins

Anything else or any other plugin may as well work properly, or simply be incompatible. Maybe it is a setting in the plugin you mention, you could check that and make some tests. If there is still a problem, unfortunately there is no solution to provide in this case.
We cannot test the theme and composer with all the plugins.

But the tagDiv composer does not have any options like this at the moment. If you use it, this could only be done with CSS as you tried, and make the code more specific maybe by setting classes to rows and columns as well
