If I prefer to continue to use Visual Composer as that what I’m used to and it have some good addons – can I delete the new page-builder plugins that are automatically installed with Newspaper 8? Or will that cause any issues?
I have too many plugins already and prefer to delete plugins that I don’t use.
Kind regards
Lars
With Visual Composer there was an option to create buttons that link. Where is that available on TagDiv Composer?
One of our pages is built entirely with buttons and I need to be able to recreate it using the new composer.
http://sonorannews.com/business-directory/
Do buttons even exist on the new composer? Is it an option that will be added in the future? Or maybe I just cannot find where they are hiding…
Thanks

Hi,
Problem: Each time I disable the tagDiv Composer plugin it automatically returns active.
How to solve this?
Hi,
If you update the theme to the latest version or install it, the tagDiv composer will automatically activate itself
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Having both editors active could create problems in some cases. After updating please go to your plugins section and deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin.
If you use a child theme please switch to the main theme, as it may require adjustments to the new theme version. Custom code you might use may not work properly anymore.
Thanks
Hi,
1)Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
Please do not use this setting in Seo by Yoast:
https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh Also, if you are using the WP Super Cache plugin, please ensure that has been right setup according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
2)Also, the third important rule is to do not edit a page which was created with Visual Composer with TD Composer.
Also, I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues like this.
For more information about how you should use our page builder in correct way on our theme, please check the following useful tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial-2/
Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi Simion C.,

Hi,
The theme width itself is fixed, it cannot be changed on the whole website. It is predefined in the theme’s stylesheet. You could set a background image or color if you want
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/
In pages built with the tagDiv composer there are options to stretch the rows containing the elements for full width results
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hUxCDDtBqODW
There are also Full big grids available
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
Header and Footer elements can stretched as well if needed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/yGFPOlLP4ey5
Thanks
Hi,
I believe there was an issue with the Visual composer that caused this issue. They fixed it in the 5.2.1 version however
– https://www.screencast.com/t/z17DqLG33
This version is provided in the latest theme package.
Thanks
Hi,
The parameters seem to be set properly. The changes must be made either in the htacess file or the php.ini file.
Please try to deactivate all your plugins except theme plugins as a test. Then clear any caching installed. It could be a plugin conflict, this way you can determine if a plugin is to blame.
Check any custom code you might have entered in theme panel sections, or added to the theme files. If you use a child theme, switch to the main theme and see if this has any effect.
Also try deactivating and deleting the tagDiv composer plugin, then install it again from the theme package.
If the problem persists, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic in your email.
Thanks
Hi,
The global setting affects the Related articles section in the post page. The template can be changed for blocks individually when building pages with the composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7livJ7jciH
There is no specific setting that would allow a particular block template to be set for those sections of the post only. The process is automatic and applies the block header style set in the theme panel globally.
Thanks
Hi,
In Newspaper 8 the tagDiv composer was introduced, this plugin will automatically activate itself when the theme is updated or installed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
In some cases this editor can affect the elements on the page created with Visual composer.
After making the update, please go to your plugins section and deactivate the tagDiv composer, then check if there still is a problem.
Thanks
Hello taneesha,
Please re-download the theme packet from Theme Forest because the Visual COmposer should have to be there. I have downloaded and it’s there.
Thanks for the message!

You can create your website anyway you like. These are the available header styles
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
These are the footer templates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Inside the pages you can use any element you want using the tagDiv composer. This is a tutorial bout the editor
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Three are a maximum of three columns in which rows on pages can be split.
In the theme live demo all the available blocks, big grids and full big grids can be seen (use the selection to cycle through the elements)

This guide is describing all the block settings and options

Hi, It happens with any page created with a text element and then background color added. Example:
1)Create new page
2) Edit page with tagdiv composer and add a row and then an element, example element ‘text with title’. When text is added the text will appear but when you click on the css tab and change the background color the text can no longer be seen. See images below:

Hi,
If you use Visual composer, please go to your plugins section and deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin. Visual composer and tagDiv composer have a different implementation for single images, these elements will not work properly when both editors are active.
Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused for you.
Thanks
hi,
Cannot find latest visual composer version 5.2.1 despite downloading latest theme file. Can you please mail the zip files for the same to me or point me to the where I can find it. Please note: I have downloaded the recent theme files as latest as of today and still cannot find it.
Also, please let me know if there is an option for putting tabbed content on tagdiv compser yet or if you are planning to build the same into it.
How to get full width layout (no sidebar) on page editor in Visual compo classic?
I want the visual composer classic editor to be a full width page with no space for sidebar
EDIT: I fixed my problem — for some reason, the file page.php was deleted (or not installed) during installation of the theme — by replacing this file via ftp, the TagDiv Composer works fine now!
i have installed the revolution slider and its working. I also created a new slider (put in the pictures…). But when i drag the revolution slider with the tagdiv composer into my blog it shows me nothing. Is there a extra setting which I forgot? How can I make the revolution slider visible on my website?
Hi,
The Latest articles pagination cannot be changed. You could disable this section, by selecting a different page template
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Then place a block at the bottom of the page with the composer, and configure it with infinite loading. Blocks have this pagination available.
These are all the available blocks (use selection on the right to switch blocks)
And these are all the block options and settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

Hi,
I was customizing my website by using TagDiv Composer and then this appeared Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
I have uninstalled all my plugins and refreshed the page except for TagDiv Composer Plugin.
I have cleared all my cache.
I have uninstalled TagDiv plugin and reinstalled it again
But the problem remains, going back from square one and starting to customize it all will take too much of my time. Please assist me in this.
Regards,
Saiem
Hello,
Please try to upload the plugin manually as you would add a new plugin from the WordPress repository and press the add new button and then hit the upload button. You will find the td-composer.zip in the main theme archive downloaded from envato .
If you still cannot install it try to install the plugin via ftp:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins
Thank you!
