Hi,
Maybe you are using Visual composer on posts. This is know to be heavy on resources, and could cause this kind of problems. Or maybe some other plugin is making the ajax requests. You could disable your plugins one at a time and see if the problem persists.
Thanks
Hi,
If the page contains Visual composer elements, the mobile theme will not display them. This is meant to keep the mobile theme as light as possible. Content for mobile pages is limited to the Mobile editor which appears on the page edit screen when the plugin is active
– https://www.screencast.com/t/AcWDva2uEGb
If you would like to display the same content from desktop, simply deactivate the mobile theme. The website will adapt to every screen size, due to the theme’s responsiveness.
Here you can find more information about the mobile theme

I was working on my home page. And I was using TD Composer to add a slider at the top of website. saved changes and the error
Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
appeared. I need help with this. This is the second time I have had this error message. Can someone enter into my website and fix this for me. Just delete the slider I don’t care.
The last time I got this message I had to redo my whole website.
Got it. Yes, I never used VC for posts so far I remember.
My specific question is, is there any issue if I, for the time being, NOT use td composer and still keep upgrading the theme version and use VC as usual? In other words, is Newspaper’s compatibility with VC still and will be taken care of?
Thanks.
I get what Chris says and also think that a lightweight decent way of loading more posts from a chosen category / filter (not just the next post) would be a good idea. However, I would first request TagDiv to resolve some existing issues that I have been reading after launching td composer. As a principle, it is good to have an issue-free theme than a buggy, feature loaded theme. Newspapers has enough features and has done excellent in the past. In order to continue with the tradition they need to focus on excellence more than abundance. Having said this, I certainly would like to have the auto load more posts feature in the theme but not at the cost of excellence in what it has. Hope I am clear. Thanks all.
When I wnat do add elements to my home page with visual composer, elements dont load.
Ill put an image. Visual Composer Dont load
Newspaper is a great theme but I can’t help feeling there is something missing! Why is it so difficult to show a featured image on a page? With a theme that’s as good as Newspaper, it should be easy – but with the current toolset (Composer) it’s impossible.
Why is this?
Personally, I would like to see a module like the “Homepage Post” which would allow me to show a featured image as the background and header. It looks great – so why restrict it to posts?

Hi,
There is no element in tagDiv composer that can handle php code. You could edit the page template files and enter the code there
– https://www.screencast.com/t/6XiZxBRWq
Or maybe search for a plugin that has the option to insert php in pages.
Thanks
Hi,
There should be no problem creating a similar design for a block. You just need to place the block you want on a row, then stretch the row
– https://www.screencast.com/t/raxZGsjMTJ0
Next you have to set a background color or image to the stretched row
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WcFNpvyrw
You can also set some top padding for the block
– https://www.screencast.com/t/sAuUJqas1Ea
The result should be like in the demo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/beq1D2x6HE
If you are having problems using these options, maybe something is interfering with the tagDiv composer. Try deactivating all your other plugins except the editor as a test, and clear any caching installed. Then create a new page and try it again to see if everything works properly.
Thanks
Hi,
The row cannot be split in that layout using the tagDiv composer. You will have to create your pages using the available row settings

Thanks
Hi,
It seems that something is covering up the composer’s default options. Maybe a plugin is inserting itself in that section and causing this problem. The tagDiv composer does not have those options there. I suggest you try and disable all your plugins except the composer. This should remove the issue. Then enable them one at a time, to identify the one responsible.
Thanks
Hi,
You have to create the page with tagDiv composer and set it as Homepage
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Each page building block has options to filter categories and posts. In this guide you can see all the available block settings

Thanks
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Also please don not use both page builders at the same time. If you use tagdiv composer, disable visual composer and vice-versa.
Thank you!
You probably did NOT read my request carefully. I clearly said that I did NOT updated visual composer still getting the error. Plz help in solving the issue.
Hello,
Please do not use the composer for the Newsmag theme yet. We will update newsmag and provide the version of the tagdiv composer compatible with Newsmag in the near future.
Thank you!
Hello,
You can use the page builder to create a block/grid/slider showing your latest posts. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hello,
Please do not update visual composer if you have it purchased. Please only use the version that comes with the theme. Download the theme package from envato and install visual composer from the theme package, not from the visual composer servers/ Each version must be tested thoroughly before we can mark them as compatible and approved.
Thank you!
Hello,
Ionmag is our non envato project. Newspaper and Newsmag are Envato exclusives.
IonMag and Newspaper use the tagdiv composer and Newsmag is soon to follow.
The best theme is in the eye of the beholder. Each one has it’s own features and style. Each one is different in it’s own way even though they all use the same core.

Hello,
Our page builder was not meant to copy or imitate visual composer. If you want to hide a block from a specific viewport it can be done with css.
You can assign a custom class to every element in the tagdiv composer and then simply use your class in this css adding it in the theme panel-> custom code-> advanced css section. Here is an example:
https://www.screencast.com/t/IvXwT6w2vYTf and you can use the class to hide the block on a specific device like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/lqdAM8nu
Thank you!
Hello,
Sorry but the half half column layout was never an intended way of using our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
This column layout will not work properly with the theme implementation.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can take a look. There should be no reason for the composer not to work, on a fresh install with no other plugins active. Also paste a link to this topic in your email.
Thanks
Hello loyalty-solutions,
Please ensure that problem do not happen due to your untested plugins if you are using something like this. Try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, you should provide your website so I can take a closer look at it.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Yes, you should deactivate Visual composer if you made the transition to the tagDiv composer. In some cases having both the editors active some layout issues can be present. In future updates more elements will be added to the front-end composer exclusively, and many more features.
Thanks
Hi,
If all the parameters are according to the recommended values and it is a fresh install, with no other plugins active just to be sure, it should work properly. There should be no problem in using the tagDiv composer properly.
You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can take a look at the issue. Please paste a link to this topic in your email.
Thanks
Hi,
Please go to your plugins section and deactivate the tagDiv composer. This editor is activated by default the moment the theme is updated to the latest version. In some cases having both editors active can cause layout problems. More information here
