Hi,

1. Please provide a link to your website pointing to this row and details about what exactly you would like to change and how, so I may be able to give you a more accurate response.

2. For the menu I do not understand where you want to create it. For pages you can use any of the elements available in Visual composer to add to your page structure.
You could use the collapsible content panels element if I am guessing this corectly
https://www.screencast.com/t/lrQKfc3y5Mw
With a menu list using a custom or existing menu inside the section
https://www.screencast.com/t/vwaK4blbvr
Or you could use other Visual composer elements inside this Accordion
This is the result – https://www.screencast.com/t/urxkyPJeVrgUhttps://www.screencast.com/t/c9SHINL6MFzk
The element also provides different styling options so you have the possibility to customize this idea further

Thanks

Unfortunately it is not we who must fix it. It is the visual composer plugin developers. Visual composer is not created by us. We simply have an agreement with the plugin author so we can provide the plugin free of charge and use our theme elements together with it. The post grid is not one of our elements but rather a plugin element. We did not create it and it is not up to us to make any fixes regarding the visual composer elements. In order to differentiate which element comes from the theme and which are plugin-specific elements you can check the element lists in the plugin. The theme elements are found under the blocks tab: https://www.screencast.com/t/XkPCkYyuSuig The other tabs are not theme specific and are not created by us.
I recommend using our own theme specific blocks and not visual composer elements. You cna use any block to show the posts not just the post grid.

Thank you!

Hello,

The Flickr option is added by visual composer. It is a plugin element, not a theme element. It can be used on pages but not inside the widgets section of WordPress.
There are however many plugins that can provide different types of widgets especially social ones.

Thank you!

Hi,

There is no option in the theme to change the width. The theme is designed with a fixed width, and it is not recommended to change it, because it will damage the layout. All the elements on the page are directly dependent on this fixed width.
The featured image set on posts is displayed on the blocks and other elements that are used to create a page in the Visual composer editor. I see that you are using a different editor then the one provided with the theme to create your pages. I do not know how I could help you in this matter, it is recommended to use the page editor provided in the theme package – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

Thanks

Hi,

This depends on how well the website is optimized. Your website loading speed seems to very from very fast to very slow. It is also recommended to use the caching plugin with these settings
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also try as a test to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and then check to see if this improves page loading speed. Some plugins can have a negative effect on website performance.

Hi,

The Visual composer plugin is provided in the theme package, and updated along with the theme updates. There is no need to enter a license code, it is provided pre-activated. The activation messages can be ignored because it does not prevent you from using this editors features. When a new update for Visual composer is available, it will be available as soon as possible in a theme update.
You can find more information about this here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Hello my friends,
I am here again 🙂
When accessing the site the load gets partitioned see the image.

Would it be a problem with the visual composer? Do you have a solution?

I have already applied all the suggestions for optimization and speed of the site and still use the cache of the own server

Hello,

Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello,

Pleas only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
We have not tested the w3 total cache plugin. It could also be another conflicting plugin so it’s best to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Sorry but the post templates are not editable. They do not have extra styling settings. Not everything can be edited through a page builder. sorry. You can activate visual composer for posts if you want to (not tested) from the plugin settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/vQe6TJjCw6J

Hi guys,

Theme provides the 12 styles for posts. How can I further customize any of them using VC or TD composer?
Like if I want to change the blocks layout of post and bottom elements/blocks etc.

Thanks,

Hello vishesh999,

Unfortunately, the Visual Composer has not been tested for posts and we cannot say for sure if it will work or not properly with the theme, sorry! For more information about how you can use the Visual Composer, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

Hello haqemcom,

We do not have any problems in this regard -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KEPYdl6W8, sorry! Do you receive this in your console? Most likely, this might happen due to your untested plugins used by you. Try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

Almost all the fonts for the elements in the website structure can be changed in the theme panel. You will have to try different fonts and choose what you think will match the desired look for your website.

1. The Slider element font can be changed here – https://www.screencast.com/t/JY8T4WvRb depending on the column layout for the Slide.

2. You can change each of the block titles in their settings, in Visual composer
https://www.screencast.com/t/6Bqqs8M6

3. That depends on where you would like to change the links color. These will inherit the theme accent color, there is no setting to change them individually except through Css code. For the posts you can change them in the post edit section – https://www.screencast.com/t/x3VlnkozUHr9
If you would like some help, please provide information about where exactly you want to change the link color, and I will try to give you a solution.

4. You could change the scroll to top color using a code like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/CvU5ffiAv
You can change the color to what you think it’s best to use. The code must be entered in Theme panel->Custom Css
https://www.screencast.com/t/rRX4jhf111BH

.td-scroll-up {
background-color: grey;
}

5. The font color for the post content as well as the headings can be changed here
https://www.screencast.com/t/J1BShNY7G

Please let us know if you have further questions or need further clarifications.

Thanks

Hi
I was wondering the same thing, was it successful to use visual composer on posts using multiple columns? Does it break the theme layout, or is it ok?

I want to have multiple columns on posts.

Hi,

If you would like to have similar thumb sizes on your pages you can try and use blocks that use the same thumb sizes. Here you can see the thumbnail sizes that the modules are using
https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
For example the size you mention is used on these blocks
https://www.screencast.com/t/wPuX9pVWlod
The blocks that come predefined are meant to be different from each other, so you have many options to choose from when creating your page in Visual composer. You can see all these block here
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
If you would like to have exactly the modules, you could use the same block on the respective page.
To change the thumb sizes used would require many modifications to the theme files, and a lot of work.

Thanks

Hi,

Tagdiv blocks can be used only on pages. Visual Composer pagebuilder cannot be used on category page.
On your categories you can set the module to display articles, please check the docs – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-category-settings-work/

Thanks!

Hi,

In case that your thumbnails are not properly generated, please make sure GD Library is installed and enabled on your server – http://php.net/manual/en/book.image.php
If you use CDN please disable it and also the other plugins except Visual Composer and regenerate your thumbs again.
Also provide a link to your site so we can take a look.

Thanks!

Thanks Catalin. It works.

What about my other question? May I offset some posts? (For example, the latest 6 posts are already on the visual composer above with a different style. I would like to start the “Latest Articles” at the bottom from article no. 7)
