After WordPress updated at V 4.5 there appeared a jQuery conflict in our theme, also older version of VC wonât work with it. We fixed this conflict and the current theme version available on themeforest works fine, also we included last version of Visual Composer plugin.
Try to update the theme at current version available on themeforest, also update Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 following our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ â https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ deactivate all other plugins, clear all caches and test again.

First: The settings are saved when you make other modifications in theme panel? For example if you change a color or a font those settings are saved? You don’t have to make any changes in ad’s code as the theme will save it in its original form.
Try to deactivate all plugin except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn file if your using then test the site again. Also check if in browser’s console appear some errors related whit the theme while you’re saving the settings. Usually there should be a 403 or 404 error.
Second: Because you removed the first line from the ad-code the theme does not recognize it as ad-sense code and that’s why those options are not applied. Ad size can be changed only for ad-sense ads and because the theme render your code as a different ad the options are not applied.

The default template display page’s title when you’re not using Visual Composer on the page. When you’re using VC’s page-builder to ad block on the page the title is not displayed. For pages where you want the title to be displayed you can use page builder+title as that page template always display page’s title.
Also the above css hide page’s title for each page which uses page template + title. If you want to hide it only for a specific page replace .page-template-page-pagebuilder-title-php with .page-id-abc where abc it’s the numerical id of the page. Please notice that the theme still uses the Visual Composer-style for the mobile theme because this is required. Even though the mobile theme cannot be customized using the Visual Composer, it uses the elements from this when displaying the Big Grid from the top of the page and the Latest Articles module from the bottom of the page and these cannot be got rid.

Hi, i installed news paper 6 three months back and every thing is fine, but when updated my site to latest version of wordpress, my visual composer stopped working and also my wordpress basic visual editor is also not showing.
Now, i just downloaded updated version of Newspaper 7 and reinstalled it, but still, it didnt work and it has broken my whole system view to a terrible condition.
Please anyone help me to resolve this problem.
After updating the theme and Wp at 4.5 it is impossible to use in backend the visual composer.
The error in the js console is this one
Uncaught TypeError: $template.get is not a function

I deleted my facebook app, and recreated another following the steps exactly. I have also verified that both the visual composer and social counter are up to date.

Also, please ensure that you have fully updated your theme via FTP because this is the surest method for updating. Clear all your caches and test it again and check the results.

This is not a script generated by the theme so it’s possible to be generated by a plugin. Try to deactivate all plugin except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files ten check if the script is still there. The script may also be generated by a code added in a js row if you’re using something similar or an ad code provided by a network different by ad-sense.
Also if you made any custom modifications in theme’s core file make sure that they don’t call/generate this script.

I have checked your website and you console and I saw that you have some js.errors through it and also, you are using a lot of untested plugins which might interact with our theme and create a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN if you are using the CDN and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please check our demo version and there you can see that the search page is working well.

Also, please ensure that you have updated and your plugins ->Visual Composer must have 4.11.2 version, Social Counter 4.0 version. Try to clear all your caches and test it again. Very important is to update these only through FTP because it is the surest method for updating.

I’ve recently updated newspaper 4 to 7 and I have some issues with visual composer..
I can’t save/update any page (getting redirected to a white screen).
Visual Editor disappeared.
Sidebars not showing.
When I disable the Visual Composer everything is fine again..
I’ve reinstalled WordPress, theme, visual composer and nothing changed.
I’ve disabled all plugins except VC but again no luck.

I got fresh installed wordpress 4.5.2 and Theme Newspaper 7, after installed Visual Composer I lost visual editor in posts. At the moment I don’t have any others plugins…it is not conflict.
I tried manually update wordpress by FTP but unfortunately without any positive result.
I have also the same problem on another test installation of wordpress with Newspaper 7.
Could you tell me please, how fix this problem?

Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. If the issue is still there, please try to edit your pages on a wordpress default theme.
