Hello,
I have a strange issue with Visual Composer. It does not allow me to drag and drop any modules. I can create rows but nothing else.
I am running WP 4.4.2, Newspaper 6.7 and VC 4.9
It worked at one point in time but it stopped
Thanks for your help
Hi Bogdan,
I will give it another try and then let you know, but it seems pretty strange as I have already updated the theme multiple times. In any case, with the last update:
– no content is loaded in my homepage (created with Visual Composer);
– sidebars are not loaded in single pages;
– megamenu is not working.
Hello,
I tested this on my end but this type of “ad” will not work from the ad box as it’s not a standard ad but a js code. In this case your best bet is to use a raw js element in visual composer like so: http://screencast.com/t/DvdY31zUyRC
result: http://screencast.com/t/ms8FqhbPPcxC
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hi,
OK I just disabled ALL plugins except visual composer, cleared my cache, and the same thing is still happening. I am not using a cdn.
Thanks
Hi,
Please try to deactivate all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. This could be a plugin conflict.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you
Hello,
Thank you for your appreciation. Unfortunately your issues are not related to the theme settings.
Our theme does not control neither the permalinks nor the redirects. Permalinks are set form wordpress:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks and 301 redirects can be done either with plugins or from htaccess.
In any case I have checked your site but could not find the permalink structure you mentioned: http://screencast.com/t/PLkXEkHeJ4U
Every time I access one of your posts, there is no sub-category in the permalink.
We have no reports of permalinks issues with our theme so if this error comes up again, please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. Also reset your permalinks.
Thank you!
Hello Erve
Please ensure that you have right followed the steps to add the logo for your footer section. Also, if you use untested plugins, ensure that these does not affect this functionality. Disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
If you need more assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect this problem is still there.
Thank you for the message!
Hello Ermir,
I have checked your website and saw that your Facebook counter does not work as properly. Also, I noticed that you do not have the latest update of Visual Composer. -> http://screencast.com/t/4PEo5Sf0z Please try to update this plugin (latest version is 4.11) and see how it work after these changes.
For more information about Visual Composer updating, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Also, you can follow the below guide for an accurate setting ->>
1) Please make sure you have the latest theme version: 6.7. If not, you need to follow this guide to update your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
2) Having the latest version of the theme is not enough if you do not update the social counter as well. You need to remove the current version you use: http://screencast.com/t/4jvRwNzK and then install the version of the plugin that comes with the 6.7 theme: http://screencast.com/t/9AKKURjTjX
You can recognize if you have the correct version of the plugin when you see the new app key settings: http://screencast.com/t/CIXxklBanNl If you do not have these settings in your social counter it means you do not have the correct version.
3)You need to follow this guide to get the requirements from facebook:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Please keep in mind that the social counter is not a live count. It will update once every few hours.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello Namizitcha,
I have checked your website and I saw that you use a lot of untested plugins -> http://screencast.com/t/8VCzP80yUC Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. I saw your second menu but I cannot recreate this layout. Please try without plugins and check after if your problem is still there. Also, if you have some additional customizations that affect your menu that could cause this issue please try to disable and strat to set it your menu according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/
Hope this helps!

Hi
That space appear because you’re using page-builder+title as page template. You can remove it by changing the post template to default in Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/dpUUykaBve
Thanks!
Hi.
I see your featured images on internet explorer not displaying properly, but I also see an altered height of the post template. Please make a back-up of your customization, then remove it and also disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Revert the theme to it’s defaults then test again.
This is how that particular post template should display by default:

Hi
Please make sure that you’re using the latest version of Social Counter plugin included in theme’s path, V 3.1 and also follow our documentation to configure it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/ Also you need tu update the Visual Composer plugin at the V 4.9 which is also included in the current theme’s version available on themeforest.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Buna
Multumesc.
Hi
Usually the theme should make the thumbs automatically, without manually regenerating being required. I am not sure why this happens on your side but you can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test this again.
Also you can try to make a new local install on your computer, with the latest version of WordPress, the current version of the theme available on themeforest, V 2.3.5, Visual Composer plugin and and check if the problem is still there.
Thanks!
Hello Sebastien,
Please ensure that you have correctly installed the Visual Composer for your side. Try to update the plugin to the latest version 4.11 and check it again. I have tested on my side and this option is valid.

Hello Chucho,
Usually, these kinds of errors appear when you use untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Most likely, your untested plugins interfere with our theme and could create js errors. Please try my advice and see if your problem is still there. After this, try to install your untested plugins one by one and find the culprit and then try to replace it with another one with this functionality (this is the alternative).
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello,
I have just purchased the theme and have installed visual composer plugin. When I tried to get a license for Visual Composer plugin, it says NO LICENSES FOUND
So your theme doesn’t contains required license? Even for required plugins for your theme? Or I need to take additional steps to get a license for it?
Hi Guys,
I wanted to integrate a visual composer post-grid into our site. Basically it worked well but I know wanted to add the post category onto every grid-element. Visual Composer documentation says, that it should be possibly with the content element “post category”, but I just cannot find that content element in the included version of vc.
Hope you can help me?
Greetings, Sebastian
Hi Carmen,
Well it did work before. But maybe you added a few more plugins that broke it. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then check it again and identify the plugin that breaks it.
Thank you!
Hi
This usually happens because of lazy load animation which’s script conflict with one of your installed plugins. Try to deactivate the animation from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/Ri3mqSr9 clear all caches and test again. Also you can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and check if the problem is still there.
To be able to clear the cache memory first you need to install cache plugin. If you’re not using a cache plugin this step is no longer necessary, but in case you want to use one we recommend Wp Super Cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi
In most cases this issue is due the mobile theme module from Jetpack so make sure you deactivate that module if you’re using it. Also try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all caches then test again.
Thanks!
I am pulling my hair out with this thing. Everything is installed properly and activated.
I am trying to use vs to create a 2/3 wide column for a video and 1/3 wide for a lead form. Somehow this thing is forcing full width on everything wrapping my form to the next line. I tried multiple other layouts with same results.
Its like Vs is forced full width on EVERYTHING, even though the text in the general template settings says that if VS is used it will override it. What am I missing?
thanks
Roger
Hello
If you want to change the font size for this kind of Visual Composer element, you have to use a bit of CSS code to do that. Please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.vc_separator {
font-size:50px
}
The result -> http://screencast.com/t/RIrRLJKy
And also, please notice that you can change the separator settings from the panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/G1IXy614
Hope this helps!
If is not what you mean and for an accurate code, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect it closer.

Hi
To change the text color and background color of the button try this css: http://screencast.com/t/wSjuFDQOb
.vc_btn3.vc_btn3-color-juicy-pink, .vc_btn3.vc_btn3-color-juicy-pink.vc_btn3-style-flat{
color: black;
background-color: green;
}
The post grid element it’s a built in with Visual Composer and theme’s translations can’t control it. To translate this button and other parts of the site which are not controlled by the theme you can try plugin with a similar functional functionality. However I can’t make any recommendation in this regard as we didn’t tested any plugin with a similar functionality and I can’t grantee that they will work fine with the theme.
Thanks!
