Unfortunately, you cannot have the video player to run in full width but only on the width of our theme, as you can see in our “Sport demo”, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/2ESUICCBiB If you want to have the same player, you have to use Video Playlist for YouTube from Visual Composer and place this element in stretch RAW, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/3kVSw6hez Please notice that in our demo is used background image and in this case, the layout of the theme will be automatically boxed. Also, if you do not want the padding for your playlist, you have to remove them with o bit of CSS code, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/UC7w6XLJ

For better results using our theme, please ensure that you have the latest version of the theme and plugins and also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

this type of issues usually occur due to plugin conflicts. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then check your mobile menu again. If you use a child theme, please try to activate the main theme to see if the problem does not come from there.

Could anybody help? I have four issues now (on the local side i did not have it)
1 All the video’s don’t show their featured images (they used to get them automatically when publishing)
2 I cannot activate the Div social counter, this is one of the errors it gives. [td_block_social_counter custom_title=”STAY CONNECTED” facebook=”tagDiv” twitter=”envato” youtube=”envato”]
3 I want to change the front page but my old frontpage does show visual composer. Secondly i don’t know how to change the front page.
4 The sidebars don’t show visual composer.

Hi,
I am using Newspaper Travel theme in my website.
As shows in the demo, there are 3 blocks on the slider of the homepage which is created using Block 5 feature of Visual Composer. The blocks are showing 3 posts. Is it possible to show 3 pages instead on the blocks?

Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Also if you have custom modifications revert them to the theme defaults, and if you use a child theme, please activate the main theme. Check again afterwards.

You can add multiple conditions to the code if you wish to change it.
As for the plugin, we are not sure how the plugin works. You will need to use the implementation method specified by the plugin author. If you want to modify this behavior, we cannot offer any suggestions as we have not tested the plugin and have no idea of it;s functionality.
For the third part, there is no benefit at all, as different versions of visual composer will not work with pur theme properly except for the one that comes bundled with our theme. If the settings still do not show up if everything is checked, then please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files (if you use it). There could be a plugin conflict that interferes with the settings.

I am not sure I understand your issue but I assume that you ant to exclude posts published by a specific author from a block. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. There should be sidebars in the widgets area (ones you create or the default footer sections).

The button colors are a bit tricky as they are pulled from visual composer. I suppose that you are referring to the Search symbol (“magnifying glass”). This kind of option is created in the header-menu.php core file. Thank you for your suggestions. We already have these requests on our list of updates but it’s the developers who determine what gets implemented.
There are alternative solutions at the moment for your requests:

2) You can create your pages for the categories in visual composer and create a simple 301 redirect for your category links to the specific pages you want.

Hi, I have 2 development suggestions for next theme updates:
1.) Selectable “blank_page” style for pages: a whole white page without logo and menu for landing pages and special project pages.
2.) Theme panel categories: optional substitute page for category pages.
I mean, that create a specific page with Visual Composer, and set this page as a category page for one or more categories.
Then make the other one page for another category(ies).
And the other categories got the default category page.
I hope you understand what I think. (sorry, my English is poor…)

I don’t mean to drag this on, but I just want to clarify one point. I’m not bothered about what’s in the code, but rather what it says in the UI when editing a page. It says, “Note: The settings from this box only work if you do not use visual composer on this template. The template detects if visual composer is used and it removes the title and sidebars if that’s the case.”
However, that didn’t seem to be the case, which is what sent me to go looking in the code. As I said, for a person who’s just starting out, I think there’s enough stuff to figure out without the confusion over this.

If the sorting option worked before, then pleased try to figure out what changed since a few days ago. Did you change a few settings or installed a new plugin? Usually things do not happen without a reason. Please check a few options that are required for the 7 days sorting:
1) the option active in the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/Aigw5YYXL

3) The post views themselves as this option relies on views: http://screencast.com/t/Yz3Qo9I6
If you have all of these options checked and the counter does not work, please try to refresh your post page and see if the view counter increments. If it does not work, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then check the post views again.

In order to achieve best results, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. After you have done this, please consult the guide below and then check your social counter and see how it works.
1) Please make sure you have the latest theme version: 6.6.5. If not, you need to follow this guide to update your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
2) Having the latest version of the theme is not enough if you do not update the social counter as well. You need to remove the current version you use: http://screencast.com/t/4jvRwNzK and then install the version of the plugin that comes with the 6.6.5 theme: http://screencast.com/t/9AKKURjTjX
You can recognize if you have the correct version of the plugin when you see the new app key settings: http://screencast.com/t/CIXxklBanNl If you do not have these settings in your social counter it means you do not have the correct version.
3)You need to follow this guide to get the requirements from facebook:

Please keep in mind that the social counter is not a live count. It will update once every few hours.
