In Newspaper 5 will be available the latest version of Visual Composer. The latest version provided with the theme’s files is 4.4.4 and you can find it in the /plugins folder from files that you have downloaded from themeforest.

Please deactivate all plugins, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and purge your file if you use CDN, then check if ajax pagination works (infinite load, load more). Also check the posts content. If don’t have this issue anymore please activate your plugins one by on and see which one caused this issue.

The theme doesn’t control og data, so you have to use a plugin for this like Seo by Yoast and check your page source if your meta data are added properly. Also this error is not related to Visual Composer plugin. Not sure why you get this error for some of your articles, I think that this is a facebook issue – it seems that either your site, or your host, or where your image paths are were maybe blacklisted – please check this as reference – http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24636903/what-does-failed-to-get-composer-template-data-mean-in-facebook-lint

Yes, you can disable Revolution Slider if you don’t use it, as this is an optional plugin . Only Visual Composer plugin has to be active if you create your pages using pagebuilder – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installation/

Please check our demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/ When you hover a subcategory from megamenu it should show articles from that specific subcategory. Also when you click on a subcategory it should load subcategory page.
Please check this also without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and check if you still have issues with this.

What version of visual composer plugin you use and how many posts/pages you have.
Please let us know and also provide your site’s url.

Recently we had various reports about the VC plugin which uses lots or resources and causing issues when using the latest version of the plugin and on site’s with a large amount of content and on some servers.

You can switch to an older version of the VC plugin, it should solve this until we have a reliable solution available as we’re currently testing a solution for this which will allow you not to use the VC all the time just when you built your pages then use this Shim plugin which will render theme’s elements shortcodes.

What theme version do you use? I also checked this with the latest theme version 4.6.3 and did not found any issues. If you need to update please follow this guide(FTP method) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/ Also check this without any plugins active leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and check again if you still have this issue.

Hi,

We had some problems with the activation account in the past weeks, sorry for the delay.
A plugin may interfere with the activation process, try to disable all plugins, enable only Visual Composer and activate the theme. Once the activation is done activate the rest of the plugins.

Visual Composer plugin will be updated in the next theme update after it is tested with the theme, the current version provided with the theme’s files is 4.4.4. We currently working on version 5 of Newspaper and try to release it as soon as possible.

Please deactivate all plugins leave just Visual Composer and Jetpack plugins active, clear cache and check again if you still have this issue, maybe there is a conflict between plugins. If don’t have this issue anymore please activate your plugins one by one and see which one caused this issue.

Please deactivate all plugins , leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and check again if you still have this issue with fonts. Also try to change and resave the font for mobile menu items. I also checked this and did not found any issues on mobiles.

I have checked your site and found these errors in console – http://screencast.com/t/9etQhZPZc also ajax pagination doesn’t work. Please deactivate all plugins except of Visual Composer plugin, clear cache, disable all js/css minification and then check if you still have this issue.
