Edit it with the TagDiv Composer and make sure it is not doubled. Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, and see if the problem goes away.

Unfortunately, you can not disable the latest article there. The mobile theme layout can not be as customizable as the other mobile options. 
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and design for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. In the cloud templates, you can add the ads when you edit the post with TagDiv Composer in the element called ” Single Post Content ” in the tab ADS. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
If you want to use auto ads(are displayed randomly on your website), then they should be placed in the Theme Panel -> Analytics/Js Codes.

If you do not set up the ads for each template, then they won’t load. Only if you use auto ads, which are displayed randomly on your website, so you can not choose where to display them. 
In the cloud templates, you can add the ads when you edit the post with TagDiv Composer in the element called ” Single Post Content ” in the tab ADS. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
Or you can use the element called “Ad box” from TagDiv Composer, and there you need to add the ads: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/

If you mean anything else, then please provide more information about the settings you applied to the template with no ads.

In tagDiv Composer, there are almost all the features of the theme and when you disable the plugin, it’s like using a default theme without customizations and feature options.
It is also recommended that the theme not be used on a shared server, but on a dedicated one -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ because it needs a bit more resources than a default theme.
Now if you say that the problem only appeared with the update, then I suggest you make a backup and set the previous version to see if the site returns to normal.
If it returns to normal, it means that something from the new update affects you, in which case we would like to investigate this situation.

If you are using a pro demo, then you’ll need to edit the single post template using the tagDiv Composer and add the author element.
The theme panel option will apply only for standard templates -> https://i.imgur.com/tiacAbQ.png
Also, the blocks from pages and cloud templates can be edited using the tagDiv Composer, but those also have a global option in the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/1SUQD9t.png

Please edit the Single Post Template with tagdiv Composer.

So, I notice that you have disabled the mobile theme for the homepage, so if you want to use the responsive version, then please edit the homepage with tagdiv Composer, select the viewport for phone and change the logo; also, for desktop/table, or if you want to have a mobile theme for the homepage, then please enable mobile theme https://www.screencast.com/t/axXRJsWby.
Also, I can see the ads -> https://i.imgur.com/u8KZTEh.png, but I saw you use mobile+AMP, so you need to add the ads here https://imgur.com/CrFAJXN.

For sub footer style 1 please try this file -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/footer/td_sub_footer_template_1.php
If you are using the multipurpose sub footer the please try on this file -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/td-multi-purpose/footer/tdm_sub_footer_template_1.php
