Hello…is there an issue with the theme? An update I am unaware of? The TagDiv composer will not let me update or add anything. It is a news site so it is updated regularly…but at this point the front page is totally stuck. When you try to update a block you get an error. If you try to move an element – error.
We’ve finally updated our site to get rid of the standard plugin. Yay!
But now we have a slight problem. We used to have a template with the Standard Pack that made the featured image float-left at the start of the post content. I cannot find a way to to that with TD Composer using the included featured image elements. I did figure out how to put a featured image in the background and float type over it, that is not what I am trying to do. I want the featured image to be at the top left and then have the post content wrap around it.

This morning the site worked fine. I tried saving on the front page using the TagDiv composer and it gave me an error. Now I am unable to edit the elements, move anything around, the front page is broken. I keep getting this error message:
getSourceCol Error: The column model id not in data! Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
I’m at laudlinx.com – a very simple news site, the bottom portion is also broken – all happened after attempting to save. Apparently my host, Bluehost, found an error with the TD plugin in the log. Please advise as this site is continuously updated throughout the day.
I am trying to insert a third party shortcode on the Home Page. Looking through the comments, it says to use the column text in the tagdiv Composer. While this works, it makes the text huge and formatted strangely. I can somewhat fix this with CSS, though can’t get it quite right. Is there a way to get rid of the formatting that is created with the column text? It seems to turn it into blockquote formatting. Thanks!

1. You can use “Ad box” element instead of Raw HTML, so you will don’t face any error.
2. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer, then click the row of the element, and set up also the row like stretch row.

By editing a page with TagDiv Composer you could delete elements but also the row called “Empty column”.
You could try to delete it like this: select the row, press the button delete from your keyboard, then with your mouse select “YES”.

If you have a cloud/PRO template, but you can’t edit the footer, then edit your homepage with TagDiv Composer, scroll till footer, click on footer zone and you can edit/delete the elements there.

It’s been nearly 3 years since the request for ACF integration was raised first. However, I can see that Tagdiv Newspaper is still lagging much behind other themes when it comes to flexibility. No one these days use your theme template nowadays and you must know that. Most the customers use CLoud Template, but still, there is no composer element developed till date to add ACF? Really strange.
Even if we want to change the code of the cloud template manually to add ACF code via a Child theme, that is also not possible.
So, ultimately, there is no integration of ACF?

Edit that page with TagDiv Composer, click on that element and verify if the offset field is clear and let it empty with no space, no value.
Related to the plugin, you can uninstall and reinstall a plugin without no worries. For your peace, you can make a full backup, so you can be 100% sure that you won’t face any error.

The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. So, in order to edit Mobile Theme pages, there are only few settings in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme because you are not allowed to edit them with TagDiv Composer.

For cloud templates, you will have more options in TagDiv Composer, so these settings overwrite the settings from Theme Panel. If you let the settings by default in TagDiv Composer, then the settings from Theme Panel will reflect on your website.
In order to edit your responsive version, you need edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.

If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.

You can add them which one you like, click on the element after adding and there you will see some settings for the current element. Whenever I am using Theme panel to do changes, it is not reflecting on the desktop website, I have to use the tagdiv composer to manually do the change.

You will have to first start looking for a plugin conflict. please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also you can try and remove and re-install the tagDiv Composer plugin and please send us a link to your website in order to take a look.

Thank you for reaching out. Can you please be more specific about the empty columns between the blocks? Do you refer to the usage of columns while using the tagDiv Composer page builder? If this is the case, the empty columns appear only in the editing mode and are displayed only if you have a row divided in multiple columns and you don’t add any elements in some of the columns. This will leave the columns empty and the message “empty column” will be displayed. However, this can only be seen in the editing mode. If you need help with this, please let us know and we will guide you through.
The WPBackery page builder cannot be used along with the tagDiv Composer. They are not compatible. I’m sorry for this inconvenience! You can use the WPBackery plugin if you want. But you cannot use the tagDiv Cloud Library nor the PRO demos, as well as other tools that include the Header Builder, Footer Manager, and more, because the functionality is given by the tagDiv Composer page builder. We’ve specifically created this custom page builder so you can easily edit pages and posts on the frontend using adaptive elements and amazing visuals. Unfortunately, there’s no possible way to make two different page builders work at the same time. They have distinct functionality and coding specifications.

With Newspaper Theme you have the elements from tagDiv Composer ( our page builder ). Those elements are the only ones that do work within the Theme. Newspaper Theme was built around and with the help of tagDiv Composer. In tagDiv Composer you will find a lot of blocks that should suit your build.

I really liked the tagdiv, but I have noticed that when creating elements, there are often several empty columns between the blocks. There is no easy way to eliminate this in tagdiv. Then I use WPbackery Visual Composer, but it is causing conflicts. Didn’t you find a way to allow the use of both composer?

I would like to ad some category templates from cloud templates plugin, however the installation of the template freezes and import is not complete (tagdiv composer cannot add elements etc.). I tried several times but the problem persists. Registration look OK.
