Hi. So I was trying to make some changes to the mobile plugin but I still cannot figure how to show related posts in the theme files. I can see there is a code in the files to show the posts, but I wonder if they are hidden with CSS? How do I show the related posts? Second, I would suggest you make the mobile plugin folder inside the theme to be compatible with the child theme (for those who want to make style the appearance of their mobile sites).
@rox This should work for you – https://www.screencast.com/t/aKJdMpn22E0u
With it you can change the background color of the button, text color and border color
div.wpforms-container .wpforms-form div.wpforms-submit-container button[type=submit] {
background-color: blue;
color:white;
border: 1px solid yellow;
}
Custom CSS codes can be entered in Theme panel->Custom CSS section.
Hello,
This is the code you can remove to bypass the compatibility list: http://screencast.com/t/RZLIOPUNdqh
As for font awesome, please note that the speedbooster plugin will not be able to move ALL of the css and js to the footer. It was only made to work with the plugins mentioned. If you remove the code, it will work with other plugins as well but it does not mean it will move all of the js and css. It only means it will move the js and css for the known plugins and will not deactivate when another plugin is found.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you were to use a code like the one below, the featured image (when using the mobile theme plugin) will not be clickable anymore
.td-post-content .td-post-featured-image {
pointer-events: none;
}
This code musty be entered in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS code section. If this is not what you wanted, please provide some more details of possible.
Thanks
Hi,
I conducted a forum search and I found this solution.
.td-module-comments{
display:none!important
}
But I don’t know CSS so I don’t know where to insert it.
Thanks,
Jake
Hi,
After attempting to update to the latest version of the theme, I couldn’t access my wordpress dashboard. The page was completely blank, even after restarting my computer and logging in again.
I discussed with my hosting company who created a backup and then disabled the td composer plugin, which allowed me to access the dashboard again.
I was able to re-install the 8.6 version of the theme to restore functionality, however I’m now missing unpublished posts, images, and css code that has been added over the last couple of weeks.
The hosting company tried restoring the backup they created after I had the issue, but the content is still missing.
I just wanted to check if you have any suggestions for restoring the content I’ve lost?
And do you think the loss of content would have occurred due to the installation of the updated version of the Newspaper theme? Or something the hosting company did when trying to regain dashboard access?
Hi i have problem. after update in main page show me this error.

We are trying the same with the code. Changing the submit button’s text color to white through adding this code in custom css in Theme Panel (Newspaper – black theme, WP Forms Contact Form plugin), it is not working.
Any thoughts ?
Thanks for the response Bogdan.
Can you please send one sample screen shot where I can comment the code with example.
Also would like to inform you that I am not able to remove the following render blocking error
https://www.irctchelp.in/wp-content/plugins/font-awesome-4-menus/css/font-awesome.min.css?ver=4.7.0
even after disable the respective plugin as well.
Can you please help on this.

Jubel Thomas
I’m having the same problem. Titles are bold in your demo, but not when I install the demo for myself. In fact, the google font call appears to be doing 400 only: href=’http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto+Condensed%3A400%7COpen+Sans…
You can use any image you want as background. Then simply enable the parallax option. Rows can be stretched to predefined sizes or full width
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1G3UdSVdYM
For example lets say you have these 2 blocks (block + empty row + block)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/KYPskK3Wv
The row in between can have a parallax image set, either use the full height as I mentioned above, or maybe use an empty space element in that empty row to control the height
– https://www.screencast.com/t/qtdSgzoMMeh
Also there is a CSS tab on the rows, that can be used to make adjustments to the positioning. For example if you want to reduce the space between rows

Hi,
How do I make this code only to take effect on the frontpage, since it’s also effecting on the posts, so the gap becomes to large in the posts?
What is the selector for the number/count on the posts? Since I have managed to change the color the other places.
Thanks again, much appreciated!
My CSS skills sucks, sorry.

4. On /wp-content/plugins/td-amp/templates/css find “.amp-wp-article-featured-image{display:none;margin:0}” and change to “.amp-wp-article-featured-image{display:none;margin:0}”
Hi. Have the same problem.
I have added html-code widget with links to the Newspaper default sidebar and have changed all base colors via Theme panel – theme colours.
But the links in html-code widget still have the base color #4db2ec.
It is impossible to change it via Theme panel – theme colours.
How i can change this color via css edition?
Hi there,
after update to recent version I got this:
base64_decode() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /var/www/vhosts/puffbohne.de/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_css_res_compiler.php on line 54
Shows up in the sidebar on http://www.puffbohne.de. It does not work to just change the directory wp_booster to the former version.
What helps?
Hello mrx,
1)Unfortunately, there is no option to exclude that FEatured category from the AMP page, sorry! It’s too complicate this task because all of the categories are listed there and should implement some restrictions. The AMP plugin is in a continuous development and in the future, it will be improved.
2), 3), 5), 8) You should use a bit of CSS code if you want to change the AMP style page. Edit here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/vIUHFAbD6uRH
4)The author box has not been included in the AMP plugin by default, sorry!
6)The amount of the Related Articles can be managed from general settings from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/PSyWl1WQKA4M
7)Does not exist any such an option for Excerpts for Related Articles modules, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
@samochodyelektryczne I will just share it here. Find the post template you are using. In my case, I use post template 2. So its corresponding file is loop-single-2.php (you should find the one which corresponds to your post template). Inside the loop single file, search for <?php echo $td_mod_single->get_social_sharing_bottom();?> and below it, paste the following code
<div class="navi-previous-next clear clearfix">
<div class="navi-previous navi-item"> <?php
$prevPost = get_previous_post();
$prevthumbnail = get_the_post_thumbnail($prevPost->ID, 'td_100x70'); ?>
<p class="navi-icon"><?php previous_post_link('%link', '<span class="navi-prev-title">← Previous Article</span>');?></p>
<div class="navi-post-content">
<?php previous_post_link('%link', $prevthumbnail); ?>
<?php previous_post_link('%link', '%title'); ?>
</div>
</div>
<div class="navi-next navi-item"> <?php
$nextPost = get_next_post();
$nextthumbnail = get_the_post_thumbnail($nextPost->ID, 'td_100x70'); ?>
<p class="navi-next-icon"><?php next_post_link('%link', '<span class="navi-next-title">Next Article →</span>'); ?></p>
<div class="navi-post-content">
<?php next_post_link('%link', $nextthumbnail); ?>
<?php next_post_link('%link', '%title'); ?>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Then save.
Paste the following CSS in the Theme Panel Custom CSS section.
.navi-prev-title {
font-size: 12px;
color: #c1c1c1;
text-transform: none;
font-weight: normal;
}
.navi-next-title {
font-size: 12px;
color: #c1c1c1;
text-transform: none;
font-weight: normal;
}
/* SINGLE POST NAVIGATION - PREVIOUS / NEXT */
.navi-previous-next {
margin-bottom: 35px;
margin-top: 35px;
}
.navi-previous {
width: 49.5%;
float: left;
position: relative;
border-top: 1px solid #e0e0e0;
border-bottom: 1px solid #e0e0e0;
padding-bottom: 20px;
padding-top: 20px;
}
.navi-next {
width: 49.5%;
float: right;
position: relative;
border-top: 1px solid #e0e0e0;
border-bottom: 1px solid #e0e0e0;
padding-bottom: 20px;
padding-top: 20px;
}
.navi-previous img{
float: left;
margin-right: 10px;
position: relative;
z-index: 1;
}
.navi-next img{
float: left;
margin-right: 10px;
margin-left: 10px;
position: relative;
z-index: 1;
}
.navi-previous a{
display: block;
font-size: 14px;
text-transform: uppercase;
font-weight: 700;
color: #222;
font-family: Open Sans;
text-align: left;
}
.navi-next a{
display:block;
font-size: 14px;
text-transform: uppercase;
font-weight: 700;
color: #222;
font-family: Open Sans;
position: relative;
margin-left: 10px;
text-align: left;
}
@media (max-width: 480px) and (min-width: 0) {
.navi-previous {
overflow: hidden;
float: none;
margin-bottom: 10px;
margin-top: 30px;
width: auto;
}
.navi-next {
margin-top: 10px;
width: auto;
float: none;
overflow: hidden
}
}
Then disable the inbuilt theme post navigation from the theme panel. Guess it should work.(You can edit the css to your liking).
I would recommend using a child theme when doing this.

Hi,
The theme panel settings can be exported/imported when migrating the website
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
Anything else would be standard website migration
– https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-move-wordpress-to-a-new-host-or-server-with-no-downtime/
The duplicator plugin is highly recommended in the matter.
The positioning of the slider has a simple explanation. In the first website you provided, the politics demo is installed.
By default all pages have a padding top set by the theme, the politics demo when installed will deny that padding with a negative margin
– https://www.screencast.com/t/uTFFjjKq
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ZOZJnCEq1Q
This can be achieved without installing the politics demo. Either remove the padding top with CSS, or set a similar negative margin to the row containing the slider
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bpsVWamZy
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ZOoL1dF8Zc
The Envato plugin may not be the best method to update. There are other more reliable methods
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
By FTP is the most recommended among all of them. Also remember to update the theme plugins as well.
Thanks
Hi,
1. The comments title does not inherit the general block header style set in the theme panel. It could be made similar to block header style 6 you mention, with code
– https://www.screencast.com/t/nLzZcsWo26lm
This is the code used, enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS
– https://pastebin.com/Weeh8D5G
2. You could use a text with title widget, enter the links you want in that element. It also has settings to style the heading style
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jkgKh9xr
Thanks
Hi,
Try to use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
header .td-icon-views{
margin-right:20px;
}
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
After upgrading the theme to newest version, I am seeing following errors just before Sidebar ad.
Warning: base64_decode() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /var/www/html/blog/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_css_res_compiler.php on line 54
Screenshot: https://cl.ly/pYlF
Blog URL: https://www.medlife.com/blog/
It was working very well before. But after upgrading the theme to latest version, this error appears.
Please help fixing this issue.
We are using Video News template of Newspaper 8.5 theme, video on the post page are showing up at the bottom instead of the black panel at the top as shows in the actual demo of Video News template.
Sample Screenshot
http://take.ms/20oQ2
Click on the any video on the link http://latidune.com/?cat=399 and go to the post page.
Is it a featured or header image issue where the theme is handling it differently ? Please visit the sites and let us know if we should do any config changes or CSS code updates.
Thanks
DUPLICATOR was the first approach I tried with the same results. I found the upgrade docs. in the docs I read it stated that after the upgrade, the theme settings would have to be reapplied.
So where does Newspaper store the theme settings? Apparently not in .css. I could find anything in the database.
I am using the political theme. It is the only one that keeps the Revolution Slider tight up against the top. Any migration destroys it but if I reinstall the Political Demo it works, but that install destroys everything else.
