I am searching for a way to make the site background one color (grey) and the page background another color (white or light grey) while keeping the header and footer (menu, etc.) fullwidth.
(I haven’t found any theme demos that show a similar background/page variation so this brings me here to ask the question.)
I was hoping this edit could be accomplished simply through the theme settings, but it doesn’t appear possible. (and maybe this is because I am not familiar with how to edit the theme settings)
Is there a way to do this through the theme settings? If so, how is this accomplished (properly)?
If not, is there a way to achieve this look through a custom CSS style? If so, could you please share the proper CSS styles to edit?

But I can’t find any file of it (https://cl.ly/2k0n1m1G370S), and I didn’t find any place where it is available. I want to know where is the download link of the proper template, because It is shown on your site (http://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper) it is one of the demos.

Once, I have installed the demo where do I actually start adding the content? If I would like to start editing and the demo, do I need to start using the theme panel? Is the installed demo actually automatically activated in the theme panel?

Hey! Sorry, I don;t have a simple answer to that; it requires a bit of work on your part. Try doing google search for stuff like “Jquery RSS ticker” (e.g., http://www.jqueryrain.com/demo/jquery-news-ticker/ ). We still use a JS/CSS/RSS ticker on one of our sites to pull news onto our service pages, where the service pages are .shtml static and news is on WP site. So, you can just load one of your topics via the built-in RSS from any of your tags, categories, authors. This was just one example where hacking the theme will drive you nuts.
Ha! Yeah, the icon was something I did as I was tired of my 20 year old “headshot” — and was playing with the South Park Studios Avatar Maker — not sure that still works.

On my website, http://www.allon.it I use a Slider on the homepage.
I have a strange problem: as you can see during the page loading the height of the slider changes!
I checked your demo on this page http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/ and problem isn’t present.

I made a Logo for the template, but when uploaded it is so small!!, nothing to do with the original logo from the demo and template.
It is the right size because I had it resized to your pixels but it looks so ridiculous and very very small.
What should i do to make it look as the one from the original template?

The most simple way in this regard is to install the demo without content as you can remark in our documentation if you will read it, here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ Please notice that each demo has an own design, an own CSS code which gets the style. If you do not want to use this method, please notice that you will have to inspect it closer all the demo files and you will have to adjust it in your backend in order to achieve the same layout -> http://screencast.com/t/SfrM0Kc09u. All of these changes involve custom work and we cannot provide this services at the moment, sorry!

Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Then try to install a theme demo and see if the issue is still there.

If you want to have that design, please notice that you will have to use the Block 9 or 10 as you can see here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-9/ and also, you must use a bit of CSS code to hide the margin and padding bottom and the author name and date.

Since last 4-5 days , I am working on Newspaper theme for day and night and have done many modifications. But there are few parts of various demos that I do not know to imply. Since I am the creative unique layout for my home page so I don’t’ really want to import the full demo settings from any particular demo types.
Though for learning purpose I do have options to take the backup of my current homepage using “Visual editor classic mode” and then install any demo I want to use. But the real problem is- Installing new demo layout not only changed the Homepage layouts but it also changes various other settings like theme color, header , fonts etc.
I have already worked hours for other settings and hence I don’t want to loose any other settings. So, I want only “Classic mode codes” from all our demo layout styles. or If there is any other way to get the “classic mode” layouts for homepage like using google chrome “view page source options etc.
If it’s not possible to provide classic mode codes for all themes , please give me the codes for “http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_blog_travel/ ” because I love the first front page slider on this page and I want to use it.
or if you can suggest any other method to achieve what I want to achieve, please let me know.

Hi, I am also currently experiencing this problem. I bought newspaper theme a couple of weeks ago, and a few days ago, I realised that the images were not showing on the home page. I haven’t even gotten a chance to start editing yet. I’ve simply uploaded the demo so far and it is experiencing this same problem. The revolution slider I added to the home page is also not visible. I have also tried deactivating a range of plugins, including lazy loading ones, all to no avail. Visual composer is version 4.12 and newspaper theme is version 7.3. I checked the forum and all the fixes are before I even bought the theme, any help please?
