Thanks for the nice theme. I have installed the demo theme and also activated mobile theme.
I found few issues/requirements.
1. I see that the theme doesn’t have infinite loading for individual posts. I mean after reading a post, the next post should load automatically. Im just thinking if there is any tweak or do you have plans to add this feature anytime soon?
2. In mobile theme, menu doesn’t reflect properly. In desktop theme, all the top menu has sub menus. However, in mobile theme, news, fashion, lifestyle and video menus don’t have sub menus and also when I click on it, they are leading no where.
3. I’m trying to have social login feature, with gmail and facebook to login to the website and/or commenting. Can you suggest a way?

Sorry to be a pain, but whenever I click “TD_DEMO_CATEGORY” in the widgets section to drop down, nothing is displayed. I also have no Sidebars anywhere in my widgets page – why is this?
I’ve imported one of the demo settings, in that I see that the demo is not in full width. How can I make it to full width?

I recently installed the Newspaper theme on a brand new WordPress installation. Once downloaded, I installed the Black Version demo and received this error:
“Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_convert_encoding() in /home/procrastinate/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_video_playlist_render.php on line 164”
I don’t have any plugins installed aside from the default ones and Visual Composer. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I noticed a problem with the Revolution Slider when I use the mobile menu, and I found the same problem on the Animals Demo. This is what I did when I found the problem:
1. Open the mobile menu
2. Click on one of the social icons
3. Go back to the main site and close the mobile menu
What I then see with the Revolution Slider is this:
Is there any way to fix this? Does the parallax when opening the mobile menu have anything to do with this problem? If so, could I turn that off?

I’m trying to install the demo on this Newspaper theme and in order to do that it’s asking me to install the Visual Composer, But when I install the Visual Composer as instructed it gives the error message:
It said:
The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading install package from http://www.investment.id/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/plugins/js_composer.zip…
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /home/invadm/public_html/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/
Plugin install failed.
Please advise to resolve this.

If you attempt to add a caption for the image (going into media attachement, adding a caption), the description of the list element disappears.
I believe the bug is reproducable on your demo. Just go into this post http://screencast.com/t/yJY2oK61IqD , for the image of Emanuela De Paula, click edit on the visual editor, add in anything in the caption area

now save the post/publish and you will see that the description of that list element that used to be there “Too much work. Let’s burn it…” is gone
I tried to load a demo theme to compare with what I have been using, but the demo crashed. I then tried to restore the original and the plugin crashed…then I tried to restore the backup from yesterday and that crashed as well. I desperately need to restore some semblance of the customized Newspaper theme I created weeks ago.

On our recipe demo we use normal post type for posts, there is not a custom post type used. We only created a specific layout for that demo but there are used default posts and pages from WordPress, not a custom post type.
You can post recipes on your site using wp posts, just chose one of theme’s post templates which will fits best for your needs. You can also group your recipes into some specific categories so you can easily sort them.

1. There is no ideal size for featured image. Basically image’s size should be at least by thumb’s size where will be used. You will have to asses the containers and thumbs you plan on using on your site and the post templates as well. If you use post templates that use the full size images like: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-2015-awards-all-of-the-best-and-worst-moments-from-the-show/ then a full hd image is required. If not, you need to inspect every element especially on the homepage. If you use big grids, your images must be at least the size of the big grid container otherwise they will not fit inside and not display properly. Thanks for getting back to me. Im not looking for recipe schema mark up. You have a demo that showcases recipes as a recipe site. I was looking to post recipes on my site like the recipe demo. It looks like it is a post/page. I was just wondering how to do that.

I am using Newspaper Theme and encountered two problems.
1) When using sports demo I could not find a way to configure Video Play List.
2) And now I use Tech News demo and have not found a solution to remove/change sections in the main page
I would be grateful if you can help to solve the above mentioned problems.

Page speed is a very personal thing and can depend on lots of variables starting from the host and all the way down to the plugins that you use. Plugins play a very big role in page speed. so please test it out with all plugins disabled excepot visual composer and wp super cache, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test again and see if there is any plugin slowing you down.
Based on your pagespeed score you get pretty high scores. You get 87 points on desktop and our demo gets 89. The difference is very small between the 2.
The first load however takes quite a bit of time so unfortuantely there is little you can do from this side as the first load can only be adjusted from the server. Here is an example from drupal: https://www.drupal.org/node/526092

For some reason when I switch from ‘text’ to ‘visual’ on the post creation page, WordPress is breaking the content inside ‘thead’ (table headings)
I spent some time researching why this could be happening, and I found a reference to it on Stackoverflow that suggested it was theme related:

There are 2 sliders available in our theme. The first is a simple slider with one thumbnail: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/
The second one is a big grid slide that has 4 thumbs in a grid layout: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-slide/
For the big grid slide element please make sure you filter minimum 8 posts so it has enough posts to slide. When you add the element in visual composer, the default post limit is 4 so it will not slide with only 4 posts.

Few questions, can I use the recipe post types on any version? I currently have the healthy & fitness theme activated but would really like to include recipes on my site alongside general articles. can i do this?
Also, I want CATEGORY TOP POSTS GRID STYLE to be the same as the main theme which is grid style one. But it is not giving me this option. does this mean i need to install a different demo? If so, is this possible to do even though i already have the health & fitness one activated.

First of all, please try to disable all the active plugins and leave just Visual Composer to active and Font Awesome 4 Menus, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins and after that, please ensure that you have correctly set it the Font Awesome 4 Menus, corresponding on with our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-add-icons-in-menu/ Please notice that this type of plugin is fully tested with the theme and it seems to bring best results in this regard.
