1. I noticed that the demo site (default mode)is at 1070 width, but after installed, my page width is much smaller.
How can i fix this? Id like my page width to be 1070, like demo.
2. I want to make my homepage look exactly like the Tech page (default mode) on your demo site (Layout wise).

Please check settings to disable posts page – http://screencast.com/t/VdDWJbr6zz and view the page after and decide if you want to delete it. Also my likes maybe it is created by a plugin as our demo doesn’t contain a such of page. Also please note that demo install new data (menu, posts, categories, pages) and it can only be removed manually.

ive uninstalled the social counter plugin and then installed the 2.10 plugin and cleared my cache, and it still doesnt show my subscriber count.

ive also checked out the http://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/full_screen_preview/5489609 and even there it shows the youtube social counter at 0 even though the account it connects to has 1184 subscribers. If i change the demo to clasic blog/fashion/sport/cafe/tech it shows the counter subscribers. On the default demo it does not

Unfortunately theme doesn’t contain a demo for Woocommerce as the plugin is not a part of the theme. That appear on our demo just like an example that Newsmag theme is compatible with Woocommerce plugin.

Please check your page source and see if your og meta data are added properly there and check an articles using facebook debugger(Fetch new scrape) – https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/ Theme doesn’t handle og: meta data, we also use a plugin for this on our demo – Seo by Yoast.

In newsmag theme demo when you click on “travel” in main menu you are going to tagdiv-travel CATEGORY not to the page. How i can do the same? I hope you understand what i want. I want when click on “travel” to open some category, not page.

We’re having an issue where many of the modules are not properly spanning multiple columns. The below demo page is a mock up using the “Homepage – Less images” template.

A similar thing happens with the “Big grid”. Instead of filling the entire width, two of the blocks wrap to an additional line.
Anyone have any thoughts? Is something wrong with the size of our photos perhaps?

As you can see, the images are not present on the homepage, but when I click on any article, they appear. What I want must be possible because looking closely to the images in the demo, they are located outside the UPLOADS directory, and that’s exactly what I want, being able to control the images in WordPress. Anyway, I think that this is a pretty good group here, and thanks to God, I will solve my problem with your help. Just confirm me the email to send you the details.

You need to regenerate thumbnails for your site once theme is installed to generate all the various sizes for the blocks/modules. You should not use the demo data for a live or real website, only for testing or client demo (speaking as a 20 year webdev myself).
You can of course simply upload images via FTP if you don’t plan to use them as ‘featured’ images — for ‘featured’ images you generally need to upload those via the media manager or use a third party solution/plugin (e.g., bulk uploader to media manager).
Or combo of FTP upload with plugin to move to media manager, e.g.,

For questions about how to use WORDPRESS — which is not part of the theme — you should of course check the millions of pages of help on the web via Google, and of course the WordPress CODEX .. often you can do searches like “image upload wordpress codex” to find help quickly.
You can change the default upload directory, and you can turn off the upload by /month/day/ options easily.
Obviously you should expect the TagDiv support folk to educate you on how the basics of WordPress actually works — only elements related to using the theme. Image uploading is part of WordPress and not a “theme” function, per se.
I don’t work here – so just some feedback while you wait for official reply 🙂

First of all, you have a very good theme.
It’s certainly true that WordPress powers the 21% of the websites of the whole Internet, and Joomla does the 10% of it. Despite of it, the level of organization, professionalism, freedom to do the things in a very correct and precise way that you have in Joomla, it does not exist or apply in WordPress, because it was created to be easy all the time. Anyway, in some way or another, I decided to create a blog using WordPress, so I bought your Newspaper theme, installed it, and started configuring the different elements.
My problems are these…
01- All the images in the homepage disappeared in the demo. If I click to any post (article) they show on that post.
02- Other thing, is there some way that I can have a special folder in which to handle ALL my media files in an organized way and not having to use the Upload button all the time? Also, I discovered another disgrace in WordPress and is the autogeneration of thumbnails. Professional designers prefer to have the control, not to have WordPress have it for you.
I think that there might be some ways in order to make it work in that way and get rid of the Upload Media. By the way, trying to solve that situation I already bought two other plugins which are WP Edit Pro (which is an editor) with a bonus called “WP Edit Pro File Manager” and WP Media Folder. They both are used to “fix” the damn problem that WordPress has about dealing with the images. Standard WordPress users don’t mind about organization, but professional web designers do.

Did you bother to do the optimizations for YOUR SITE which must be done — ?
No theme can optimize your web server, WordPress install, etc. It’s only designed to be optimized for what the theme does, but YOU still have to properly optimize your site.

WordPress is managed on your end as are all your server settings, htaccess settings, etc.
This is necessary regardless of the theme you use!
