Hi,
If you should decide that the theme is not suited for the website, we will be able to provide a refund if requested.
There are many guides here on the forum regarding page speed optimization. Such as these
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/score-100100-pagespeed-with-newspaper-wordpress-theme/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-theme-speedify-your-website/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
Hopefully you can try some of these suggestions provided by theme users, and get better results in the matter.
Thank you!
Hi,
Best you contact the hosting provider, they might have a recommended method or maybe a service to enable the compression. Some general instructions here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
– https://gtmetrix.com/enable-gzip-compression.html
– https://stackoverflow.com/questions/44907818/wordpress-enabling-gzip-compression
Thanks
Hi,
1. That would be the demo header ad, it can be replaced with your own ads in the theme panel ads section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Th0h0Snzd4
Or simply replace the demo image and set the link you want in the demo ad code
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ynUvB1yK
More about it here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
2. Enter the ad code as provided (like Adsense for example )in the ad section you want. If you do not use Adsense but a different ad implementation, the same applies. If the ad code is valid it will be displayed (in some cases additional steps have to be taken, follow ad provider instructions).
3. The sizes of Big grids are fixed, they will always look the same. There are 10 Full big grids that can be used for full width
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
Also blocks have predefined design, however the rows in which they are placed can be stretched and they will adapt
– https://www.screencast.com/t/n7MpHTGdFB
4. Regardless of image size used for featured images, the theme will create thumbnails from them. These thumbnails will be loaded, not the full image. Still there are methods to optimize the thumbnails, see point 3 in this guide for example
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thanks
To make your website faster, you can control which thumbnail is generated. To do this go to Theme Panel > Block Settings > Thumbs on Modules/Blocks and disable the unused ones to save space on your server:
Is there any reason why, when i work through step 5 on this list https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
That The code that appears at the top of the page doesn’t match with the code appearing in google page speed insights. Is there any other way or plugin to complete this task?
Hello m2hewitt,
Unfortunately, notice that we do not make any tests for none of Minify plugins and we cannot provide any suggestions in this case, sorry! The single useful tutorial for speed optimizations might be found here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi Simion, thanks for your help.
I changed to supercache and that seemed to help.
I’ve put into place the magic bunny code from https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/
and it seemed to make things worse, so I’ve removed it again.
I’ve tried following this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
and when i try to complete section 5, the code that appeared at the top of my page didn’t match with any of the names appearing on page speed insights.
Also now gtmetrix says i’m not deferring the parsing of javascript.
I’m pretty stuck s to what to do next haha 🙂
also page speed insights says
Page Stats
PSI estimates this page requires 4 additional round trips to load render blocking resources and 2.4 MB to fully render. The median page requires 4 round trips and 3.4 MB. Fewer round trips and bytes results in faster pages.
And it won’t provide a speed for mobile. I used to be 70+ for mobile and 90 for desktop. Unsure what’s changed.
Hi,
On mobile there seem to be some errors present on the page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/BCGEz4Eb
These errors seem to be related to ads, they do not appear on desktop. I would suggest if possible to remove the ad codes where entered and test to see if this improves the website speed. There are also many speed optimization guides here on the forum, very useful to read

Thanks
I set up a page dedicated to photo galleries and I’m using the composer but now that I’ve setup multiple photo galleries I have this bizzare set of dots across the screen. I’m at a complete loss.
http://thedepartentofdance.com/galleries
I also wish there was a faster way to create photo galleries rather than using the widget in the composer 🙁
Hello zishan0909,
Sorry for this but please notice that if you will check our demo preview you will see that the page score is very good. Notice that the page speed depends greatly on how well your site is customized and optimized. The only useful guide, in this case, can be found here
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ Also, you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/

Thanks for the message!
hello,
I already mentioned the images are needed for the multi-purpose plugin and cannot be removed unless you do not use the multi-purpose plugin. Disable the plugin and you can delete the images. Enable it, and the images will be back.
1. We have not tested ahmed kaludi’s ampforwp plugin Sorry
The only tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme are these ones:
WP Super Cache- caching plugin
Contact form 7- used to make contact forms
bbPress- forum plugin
BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site
WooCommerce- eCommerce solution
WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin
Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars
WPML – multilingual plugin
Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.
2. That template does not come from our theme. This is your 404 error, not the one in your screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/h1bSr37XT1I
Your authoer pages work as expected: https://www.screencast.com/t/Ml9XlPLZdTgL
3. Please clear your browser cache. test from a different browser if you do not believe me.
4. We have absolutely no reports of any such occurrences. If likes disappear, they stay gone. They do not appear again. Please test this as well as the images issue on a sub-domain created for testing purposes with a fresh install of wp and the theme without optimization and plugins.
5. where are the post views not showing up?
6. the wp admin gets slow because you use lots of plugin and have poor memory allocation. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Please also use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ and cluodflare and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

Hello,
In order to increase the page speed you should use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

The problem with the AMP is fixed now. Please add the AMP and AMP for WP to your Compatible plugin list. Most of the users are switching to AMP for faster page loads and SEO boost in Google. So it is mandatory to have this plugin.
Hello,
Unfortunately we cannot offer any solution to remove the placeholder images or to remove specific functions from our theme. You will have to hire a freelancer for the mentioned customization as we do not have a customization department and cannot offer such services.
In order to remove the OG image please use this solution: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-do-i-disable-automatic-ogimage-tag-on-my-posts/

About site speed: yes I am avare about a 4-6 seconds loading time from Europe ( the server in Miami, IOZoom.com ) and they can not do anything, so I move my stuff to a faster hosting provider ( probably ovh.co.uk ) .
But seriously 4-6 seconds loading – a 2 meg webpage shouldnt appear the default css settings at the first flash?!
Hello,
1. The theme has no ‘restore deleted items’ functionality. The theme does not have any code that can do this. That is caused by your host or cdn. Programs that can create and restore back-ups. The theme does not have any back-up functionality.
As for the colors you mention changing, it is due to a slow loading speed on your site. Css works in cascades. IF the page loads slow, you can see each of these cascades happen live. Please use this guide to increase your site loading speed: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
2. The theme ad seo yoast both add an og image. If you just need one, please remove the other.
3. If you want to add shortcodes to the templates, yopu will have to place the code in the specific template, not in functions.php. Please check the theme files here for category templates: https://www.screencast.com/t/GR7JqrRF5k1
you can also use https://www.screencast.com/t/VSohzsCF

Hello,
I think it’s great that you want to create your own page builder, especially if it is lighter and faster than Visual Composer. Here I want to share my opinion about tagDiv Composer and give you some feedback, if it is OK.
I think that you have a lot of work to do until you reach the level of Visual composer. I my opinion your backend editor is not so user friendly and here are few examples:
01. Native theme elements are visualized great, but others, like “Widget Sidebar”, are poorly visible. You can make the height of this element bigger, because now it is something like 20 px and it is difficult to grab & edit.
02. Rows, Columns and other main elements are hard to understand and edit. In VC is a lot better – bigger and clear editor elements and controls.
03. Text block element is not working for me, when I hit “edit content” text editor pops up with loading circle element, which never load. There is a hidden error in an iframe:
“Warning: require_once(/home/***/public_html/files/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.phpwp-load.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/***/public_html/files/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.php on line 13”
“Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/***/public_html/files/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.phpwp-load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php7.0/lib/php’) in /home/***/public_html/files/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.php on line 13”
04. Text written in Cyrillic is visualized as symbols and take a lot of space in WP content editor. Example of such text: 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
05. Why you don’t have 1/2 + 1/2 columns in build-in elements? It is confusing.
Other than that everything is working great with latest theme and plugins updates 🙂
p.s. I can not understand why this topic is not viewing correctly?!
Also:
When you decide to post content on your website, the theme automatically generates thumbnails from the featured image to display the content on your pages in an attractive way. This process creates 17 different thumbnail sizes. To make you website faster, you can control which thumbnail is generated. To do this go to Theme Panel > Block Settings > Thumbs on modules & blocks and disable the unused ones to save space on your server.

Yes, if you remove all Google fonts, and use system fonts; or use only one font site wide it will be faster as less things to be loaded.
Hello,
This effect can be seen because of your slow page speed. Css works in cascades and if you have a low page speed, you will be able to see every rewrite of the css happening.
Please check with google page speed: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=ro&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.uroblog.it&tab=desktop
Use this guide to increase your page speed: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

Hello monsur,
Please keep in mind that we built this speed booster plugin and for more information about how it can be used, please refer to the following topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Theme does not control your hosting setup. Different web servers use different tech, so something working for Apache may not work for Windows or NGINX, etc.
Welcome to WordPress ! 😉
This *is* actually mentioned in the theme docs, under ‘tutorials’ so worth a look also:
