The absolute path it the right implementation for theme’s custom fonts system so if you set an absolute path it should work. Provide ftp and wp access and a link to this topic via email and we will take closer look at your configurations on monday and get back to your with replay.

You can send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access and we will take a look but I cannot promise you anything, if we don’t manage to solve this from the theme settings/code I’m afraid that you will need to get someone to help to remove it from database. If you send the email paste also a link to this topic and we will take a look as soon as possible(please note that we don’t work on weekends).

Please make sure you use the latest version of the theme 6.6.4, then you can deactivate and delete the current Social Counter plugin from your site – http://screencast.com/t/4f9ZPR9sNl6Y and install it from here – http://screencast.com/t/ioeIReUJ4 Or install it via wordpress or ftp as you like, you can find all the theme plugins in package that you download from themeforest in /plugins folder – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/ After you do this please follow this guide and configure the Social Counter(using the api key) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/

Can I edit these files direct from wordpress, or do i have to download via ftp, edit, than upload again?

Do you get this error when you install the Visual Composer via wordpress? Please try to upload it via ftp and see how it goes. You can find all the plugins provided with the theme in /plugins folder – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/

After unzipping the Newsmag Theme, I discovered that js_composer is also zipped.
How do I go about this? (I am still new in using wordpress)

BEST TO INSTALL MANUALLY VIA FTP.
Simply unzip the file on your PC/Mac, upload via FTP into the plugins folder and activate.
My newspaper them doesn’t install Visual Composer plugin. when I install this I get a ERROR 403 – FORBIDDEN but I can installed wordpress free recommended plugin.
My FTP server file permission already I checked that is good.please help me.
There where some modifications in the past. I removed the complete theme (all files) and uploaded the complete 6.6.4 theme.
There are some other issues to link

Please also check without plugins and make sure that you empty all caches and clear CDN if you use any. If it’s still not working please provide wp and ftp access so we can check your site.

Also you could do your changes via ftp, make a backup of your current style.css file than do you changes and upload it.

Worst case:
a) make mysql dbase backup
b) make FTP backup of images folder, scan for virus with local backup
c) reset your hosting account, do clean install of WordPress, point at existing dbase; use only default theme temporarily
d) make sure you don’t get re-infected
I am continiously facing problem with the newspaper theme….every time my cpanel virus scanner shows some malware in the theme’s header file…each time I delete the theme and re install it via ftp…but each time after 1 days the same problem occured…due to this reason my server automatically block port 80/443 and I am getting trouble with wordpress. I have no idea what to do. My theme was activated and I have lisence too. I also continiously update the theme via tag-div tool kit…but I have no idea what to do. Plzz someone help me…

There is no way to fix the problem by now. I’ve tried as you told me via the FTP. I’m expecting you (not personally) something more.. Everything was working correctly then the post settings disappeared. At least, a valuable plugin to insert subtitles in the posts? It’s the main lack we are encountering without this “Post Setting” options.

I was able to find the download and generate buttons at the bottom of the icomoon.i site and I uploaded the new files to the FTP but it has not fixed the issue.
Some of my staff is also seeing the problem, but others are not.
