Hello !
We are sorry for your inconvenience !
It is mandatory to delete all what was left from the older version before intalling this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems and maybe you’ve missed something while deleting the old files. Have you checked the plugins to be deleted too ? If you are certain that you have installed the updates correctly by deleting all of the older versions and made a clean install from scratch please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Also take a look at our documentation about installing the theme and plugins: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-install-plugins-and-update-plugins/ ; https://tagdiv.com/how-to-install-newspaper-theme/
Thank you !
I have accessed the site via FTP and still am not able to see a Legacy folder within plugins/td-composer. I’ve looked in other td-composer sub-folders (includes, assets, etc.) pretty deep to see if somewhere else, but no luck. Suggestions?
From the cpanel file manager and plugin editor via WordPress I am not able to see a Legacy folder https://prntscr.com/nyw4qd I’m going to setup clients ftp to try to access that way. Thanks

Hi,
The reason for doing it was because users who wanted to use for example single images in WPBakery, couldn’t because the tagDiv composer affected the single images functionality.
So now when WPBakery is active and users wish to use it, some elements will not be part of the composer, to prevent conflicts. If a different solution is found, this may change however.
If you want you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take make it to work like before the update. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!

Hi,
I have checked your website and I saw that your theme is too old (4.0). Please update the theme via FTP way according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Before each theme update, we recommend doing a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data.
Thank you!
Hello !
Please make sure that you have correctly installed the theme via FTP way, according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ and then, install the plugins from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/Y4dXUS5E4 And also make sure that you erase the theme completely before installing it again.
Thank you!
Hi @danblukk,
You need to delete the theme with all the plugins and reinstall the theme v9.6.1 via FTP way according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
@luchtzak
After the last update, if both the tagDiv composer and WPBakery are active at the same time, some elements will not be available in the tagDiv composer. This was made to prevent issues with the respective elements. The single image is one of them.
A solution is to either deactivate WPBakery and then the elements will be available in the tagDiv composer, or use WPBakery where the elements will be available.
Thank you!
Hi,
It seems to be strange! Please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it. Ensure that you have correctly installed and updated the theme with our documentation. -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Let us know how it goes!
Thank you!
Hi,
Does the AMP plugin work just by itself if you try it like that, without the mobile theme? test with /amp in that case. If that doesn’t work as well, then there must be something in the website that prevents AMP from working.
The first thing to check would be other plugins, deactivate them all except theme plugins and AMP, then check again.
We could take a look as well, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, cPanel or FTP may be needed as well. We will try to identify the problem. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks

Hi,
So it happens even for new pages? What if you make a quick test and deactivate all non-theme plugins, is the problem solved then? If it is, then a plugin is causing it. But if it doesn’t, then the problem is elsewhere.
In that case, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login so we can take a closer look. We may require FTP or cPanel, provide those as well if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email. Let us know.
Thanks
If you can send us an email we will check it out. We may need to deactivate your plugins, for testing. If possible also provide FTP or cPanel, that may be needed as well.
From what I know there weren’t any similar issues reported after the last update, something must be causing it in your case.
Hi,
Sorry for the delay. So if you update to the latest version the cloud library stops working, and if you switch to the older version it starts to work.
We will try to investigate this issue you are having as quickly as possible, we will require admin login to the staging website. Also FTP or cPanel if possible. Send them by email at contact@tagdiv.com, please include a link to this topic in the email.
Hi,
When that error is displayed it usually happens because the cloud server has a temporary issue or the wp_memory_limit is to low. This is under investigation and we will try to identify what is causing it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please make sure that all the settings are as in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/

Pelase check in special the wp_memory_limit

Going back to 9.6.1 ?
1 – download the provisio NPP theme (link above)(sticky)
2 – unzip the archive and take /newspaper/ out
3 – Into WP -> General backup (database and files)
4 – Deactivate Newspaper Theme (just active another one)
5 – FTP -> wp-include / theme / newspaper (erase all the folder Newspaper)
6 – in WordPress -> /theme/ add another one / upload one / search and take the /newspaper/ from the archive (ONLY the /newspaper/ not the rest – upload it
7 – Active the NPP 6.9.1 – Active the NPP plugins
8 – Delete cache and if you get the page opened inside WordPress (back office) it’s OK (tag div page) click save and you are now again OK – if not – re delete cache.
🙂
Best to try and update by FTP, this is the most reliable and recommended method. Here is a guide if needed – https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
If you have a development copy of the website, test updates there first to see what happens. This would be better then doing it in the live website, in case something is wrong.
