Hello,
A, B) You can do this for responsive version only if a cloud templates it is used or the mobile theme plugin, unfortunately with the standard header templates it is not possible. For a cloud template, all you need to do is to edit the header (for this you can edit the homepage) select the mobile view port and set the menu that you want to be used on mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/TWLzEAr.png -> https://i.imgur.com/zkBWXfA.png

1) The menu on the standard header can be changed from the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/sJotuYE.png and from appearance > menu -> https://i.imgur.com/LaLCw4D.png

2) Indeed this can be done only with a cloud header and it can be edited/set like in above example.

I hope this will help you!

Hello,

I just checked and seems this website doesn’t have our theme, is a default theme. https://i.imgur.com/4RUlSvN.png
Please let me know if you remove it.
Also, if you don’t install it, you have to upload only the theme zip file, not the whole package which contains other items
https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821510-Theme-is-missing-the-style-css-stylesheet-error
Install via WordPress -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
Install via FTP -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Requirements for Newspaper => https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
After installing the theme and activating it you will find in the Prebuilt websites all the theme demos and you can import whatever demo you want => https://www.screencast.com/t/6rf5g0Dxc0K
If you have a header template from Cloud Library, you can edit the logo and header with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/zuhG8uGZe, select the header and you can remove the logo image/text and add a new logo =>https://www.screencast.com/t/WSquHPNqT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo
If you have a standard template then you need to go in Theme Panel -> Header -> Logo and Favicon => https://www.screencast.com/t/jk2I1xs4FH2

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Hi webmastermetrozita,
Yes, you can set individual header and footer on pages, and cloud templates. The method it is the same for all. First you need to edit the page, then select the manager, after that from the header and footer sections select the cloud template you want to assign (select by clicking the name of the template) -> https://i.imgur.com/eRWJx5w.png (do the same for the footer).
About the difference between extended and multipurpose elements, I can say that those are more the categories that those elements are part of. For example in the extended shortcodes we have the column text and text with title, those elements are quite similar and both use the wp editor so you can practically create post/page content. Now the multipurpose elements are simple elements for image and text, normally those have custom settings and fields for where to set them and how those will be displayed, for example a text in the left and image in the right.
I hope this will help you!

Hello,
1. This problem can appear from more situations. We made a guide with the most common cases that can appear-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Also, in case that the problem persist, please do a full backup for the website and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and cPanel access. We’ll try to check the problem as soo as possible. Also include the link of this topic to identify you.
2. Those are not reflecting because you are using a cloud header and this can be edited only with tagDiv Composer. The theme panel settings are only from standard templates. If you do not use any of theme, I recommend to disable the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin.
Thank you!

Hello!

Check in the Website Manager, open the dropdown with your header template and set it as global. Also, you can set it from Dashboard -> Cloud Templates as in the example below:

Dear,
can you help me for footer?

My website issues

I decide to create mobile page for each section (homepage, post, category, search, tag, date,…)
For all these, it’s simply, just create a copy of desktop version and modify it.

My problem is about HEADER and FOOTER.

As you know, it’s not possible to create a copy of these section like another page as post or category.

I go to CLOUD Template and duplicate header and footer, modify them like want I want.

The problem is how to call these section.

When I go to Website Manager and try to use the modified files, the desktop version is also changed.

How to resolv the problem?

Hello!

1. The imported elements comes with their colors and fonts and they don’t affect other elements already there.

2. Please give more details.

3. Yes, the global colors and fonts can be seen in the Website Manager or if they are not set, then there is a setting in the theme panel. In the theme panel, if you access Theme colors -> General theme colors, then there is a setting called ” Theme accent color ” which changes the hyperlink text color and also various other elements which use that color: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/
Please note that the link color for cloud templates can be changed individually on each page from the TagDiv Composer.

4. Yes, you can set a global header and footer for your whole website, also from the Cloud Templates. If you set a global template, then when you modify something in that header, it will appear on every page that use that template. Make sure you do not add any elements in the header zone instead of the content zone.

Thank you!

Hello,
You can not see the second menu because you are checking only the main header. You need to check the sticky header too (for this you need to scroll down in page, or you can use the e header manager).
Thank you!

I think I understand the design the functionality of this theme but there are a couple of questions that the online documentation doesn’t explicitly make clear, at least for me. If anyone can answer this, I’d be very appreciative.

1. How does Theme Layout affect imported Headers and Footers? Are the colors and fonts of imported elements independent of the theme layout settings? The way it seems, is that the Theme Layout colors only affect attributes from building a website from scratch? Is this right?

2. If I use a themed template, can I no longer use the Theme Layout to change say, a page?

3. If I import a theme, say Metropolitan Pro. Where exactly are the global colors for active links, hover, and default fonts for that header, pages, and footer? Are they, located in the Manager only if you click on either the header, pages, and footer?

4. Is clicking on the header and footer from any page, truly a global change if you specify in the Manager that the template for that specific header and footer is global? It seems like it is but I don’t want to rely on luck that something I did works globally because I modified something on a page and sure enough, it wasn’t a global change. So, that theory seems to go down the drain.

I sort of have a working site and I’m asking these questions as both a confirmation and precaution for modifying elements. I have seen things happen where elements disappear and get rearranged by accidentally clicking somewhere on the screen. Fortunately, I have been saving often and close without changes when something like that happens. I just don’t want to break something right now that everything seems to be working. I can experiment later on dummy pages to learn the ins and outs.

Thanks and sorry about the noob questions.

Hi,
When you try to edit the header element you have the page open in tagDiv Composer, but since that is a standard header can not be change with the theme builder, what you need to do is to add a cloud header. You can do this using our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/
I hope this will help you!

Hi,
Yes, this can be done with tagDiv Composer.
What you need to do is to create a new page and open it in tagDiv Composer, check the manager and set for header no header -> https://i.imgur.com/bcqlKIC.png and for footer no footer -> https://i.imgur.com/1iHBEDq.png, after that just add the elements you want in the page to make it as a landing page.
I hope this will help you!

Hi,
We just added a global header template to our home page via the manager in the tagDiv composer.

Suddenly after saving we are getting this error: Server Error
500
Internal Server Error

in tag div composer.

The website is working fine but when we try to goto to tagDiv composer for the home page.
it shows this error (screenshot attached)

https://prnt.sc/WFScuVm8PJfl

How do we resolve this?

Thanks

Hello,

Please try to use a header template, to can set on the logo width and height => https://i.imgur.com/GcyAdcr.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/ For logo size for desktop we recommend using is 272 x 90px, and for mobile 140 x 48px

Hello,

You have a cloud header, then you need to edit the page with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/MIhm17tgIJeX select the logo and disable H1 on the logo => https://www.screencast.com/t/T6pvm7wR9 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/P7DuA9su from header and footer => https://www.screencast.com/t/31zJzmsS also if you use a sticky header.
The H1 must appear only once on the page/post and must be applied to an important element for SEO, usually placed on the logo.

Thank you!

Hello,

I checked now the website and you have set the logo and favicon.
Also, you can use a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Template, and set the logo like in this article https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/

Thank you!

I want to give this post a HUGE boost because there is no documentation on here that helps us. PuckWuck – I feel your pain!

I think the majority of us are using a plugin that uses custom post types in one way or another and want to be able to use tag div composer / elements to do things like show ads (among other things) based on on CPT .

I am using an events plugin (Events Manager) and want to be able to serve ads (particularly the header 728×90 placement) to just the events section of my website.

I want it setup so that when I add an event it automatically shows the header Ad that I want to display.

Here’s a video of what I want to achieve.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/7nj4s61e1fxfj8w/cpt-events.mp4?dl=0

Can you please help?

If any other users have found a solution I’m all ears!

My apologies, I do not believe I asked this in the most clear way. I am not wanting the default header for the site to be on the CPT, currently it is if you go directly to the post I linked above.

This is the article I followed and it did not seem to change the header of the CPT to reflect a different header besides the default: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/

Do you happen to have any additional recommendations?

Well hello, I indeed managed to put a second menu bar right below the first one. It seems though that it’s not part of the header section. The category menu is not visible in the mobile version of the website and it also doesn’t turn into sticky menu when I enable it through the Website Manager. So the question is how can that second menu bar behave like the first one and/or how can I make it part of the header section?

Anamaria

Hello,

If you don’t want the header to be sticky, then this is the same way to go to Manager -> Header disable the mobile sticky menu -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/

Thank you!
