I have been purchasing Newspaper for about two weeks and I am experimenting with the theme on a test blog and then posting the theme in my film magazine. Day after day I have learned something but now I am stopped. I no longer have the header in single posts and if I try to insert it it is aligned all the way to the right destroying the template. I can’t find a solution to put the same header I have on the home page.
Thanks for the support.

this is the page where I’m trying newspaper: https://nimagazine.altervista.org

I am having the same problem, my header image is entirely gone and it says “discover the art of publishing” instead.

I have gone into theme panel settings > header > logo upload and reuploaded my image, no change.

Unfortunately this did not help.

I did what the video showed anyway, just in case, but it did not work.

“I pulled in a cloud header template called “podcast”. <– So the header is not empty.

Hi guys
I am able to resolve the “disappearance” and lack of access to tagDiv Composer while I’m customising my Newspaper theme.
I have followed the forum advice on server requirements, php settings/parameters and updated all via my host.
I have today also updated to the latest version of Newspaper including the tagDiv plug-ins (successfully activated).
It appears that despite updating the WP Memory-Limit to 256M (via my host, checked/double-checked) the changes are not being recognised in my System Status report — this remains as an “amber” box and defaulted to 40M. All other settings have updated to “green” boxes ok.
What else can I try? What am I missing?
FYI I am using WP 5.5.3, PHP 7.2.34, Apache/Nginx
Many thanks!

Hi,

My ad network requires me to insert scripts to the header, but the header scripts are different for each post template. We can’t load both scripts from the theme panel, because that will conflict with their ad servers. We use 2 tagdiv composer post templates and I noticed they both have some kind of template id in the body class, for example: tdb_template_17454. Is it possible to get the template id with the function get_page_template()? If this would work, the next question would be to what header.php file I should add the function? As mentioned we use the tagdiv composer so the header.php file in the theme folder doens’t work.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I think I was not clear enough with my question. What I meant is that I have a second menu, besides de main header menu, which is displayed right underneath the main one. I dont have that location for mobile in my menu options as you show in your screen (see here).

I just need this second menu to be displayed within the hamburguer menu in the mobile version. Is that possible? I don’t have the mobile theme activated, if that has something to do.

Thanks!

Hello,

I’m unable to edit the mobile menu for the Pulses PRO demo. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong. If I open the Website Manager in tagDiv Composer, click Website Manager, then Mobile menu from the Pulses PRO header template, nothing happens.

Thanks for any help,
Ryan

Yes, but those are only for header and footer. What if i want to make whole my desktop version be like 1240px wide?

Hi,
Those are coming from theme panel > header > logo & favicon -> https://i.imgur.com/ZvPP6gU.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
Hope this will help you!

Hello !

That can be done if you remove it from the theme: wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/header/td-login-modal.php

Please note that this is not a suggested way and any issues caused by this are not covered by the support team.

Thank you !

Hi there,

I have updated the main Nav menu on my website and changed it for the Web and the mobile theme. The web one if fine, but the mobile menu does not work. Whatever I try to set, I end up with a mobile menu that is not set and I get this message – https://ibb.co/6nsTSkg

– I tried setting it through Newspaper Theme panel > Mobile Theme > Header > Main Menu
– I also tried to set it via appearance > Menus > Manage Locations.

Same result with both.

I also noticed that if I update the same values through the theme panel, the saved entries in “Manage Locations” get removed.

How do I address this?

Hello!

First you need to import a header, then you can set it global. Check this: https://www.screencast.com/t/UckTaYZ9
Hope that helps you!

Hello !

The sticky header can be edited using tagDiv Composer as you can see here using the css tab: https://www.screencast.com/t/FwiP9p5EZK2O

Adjust it to your pleasure.

Thank you !

Hi,
In my desktop version I created a submenu like you can see here which is not visible anymore in the mobile viewport. Ideal would be to add it within the hamburguer menu toguether with main header menu but in a different style. Would that be possible?

If not, which options do I have to add a submenu in mobile version?

Thanks in advance.

Well I believe what I said above to be true, I am still finding the mobile menu in the mobile header to remain blank… it does not save it’s settings when you edit it.

I’m seeing the same issue I think. I have a mobile header with a mobile menu and no matter how many times I save the menu it comes up unset (blank) when viewing the site.

Hi Guys

I am using the mobile theme (no amp) and all is well apart from I’ve noticed that the logo in the footer appears as a white box which means you can see the surrounding colour – it looks weird. The logo in the header is great (perfect size and padding etc).

I am sure I have a PNG transparent logo in the footer but i am not sure where I need to go to change the logo for the mobile theme specifically? Here is the logo in the footer on mobile as a screenshot example (the difference in colour is a lot more noticeable on the mobile than it is in this screenshot) https://imgur.com/a/3DaUlAj

Could you let me know where I need to go to make sure I have a png transparent logo set up in the footer on the mobile theme, please?

Cheers guys!

Hello, I have set the search bar at the right of the main menu to be hidden at:
Theme Panel > Header > Header Style > Search Position > Hidden

However, I can still see it on mobile web. How can I take away this on mobile too?

Thanks.

Hello!

A mobile page can be edited with TagDiv Composer and for removing a logo text or tagline you can easily do this by selecting the header logo element and emptying the following fields: https://www.screencast.com/t/TZlnXkj8efC
Hope that helps you!

Thank you!
