If you are using the business demo and you have set the header style 1 then you’ll need to set a custom css ( or you can change the header ) because there are set tow types of background for business demo on style one, and the theme penal have settings only for one -> https://www.screencast.com/t/rdR70r4Npz -> https://www.screencast.com/t/iaLf1ZVMq0
Here is the code, you need to set this code in Newspaper>Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css

So the background color should affect the page content only in the homepage. One solution would be to stretch the rows in the homepage, and set a background color for each of them

For the best results each header style has a recommended logo size which should be used

The header has an ad spot, it will appear differently depending on header style used

With the new header builder that will be introduced in the coming theme update, it may be possible to change the ad position in the header.
But for the moment if you want to chnage it or add elements in the header it will require modifications to the header template you are using – http://prntscr.com/mgepcy

A background ad consisting of a background image and link can be set in the theme panel

The menu and the logo are in separate containers, so that would not be possible/easy to do with CSS. Maybe with the header builder that is currently in development that will be possible, can’t say for sure until it is finished and we will begin testing it. Sorry for any inconvenience.

That would be wrong, that code can only be entered like this at the moment

I believe an option will be added in a coming update for the AMP plugin, so that the code can be entered in the theme panel instead of the plugin files. But for the moment that is the only way.
