Unfortunately, it still displays (it would be much easier if I could edit forum posts (not only after adding them).
So it looks like the homepage was duplicated. I can’t remove the one at the bottom using the methods you write about. I am attaching a video with a screen recording. How do I remove it at the bottom?
unfortunately the given item has no delete option, nor could it be moved. It only disappeared when I deactivated the tagDiv Standard Pack. With the active tagDiv Standard Pack it looked as if the homepage was duplicated, do you know why this happened?
Hi there! After updating Newspaper to Version: 11.2, the access button to “Edith with tagDiv composer” is not displayed on the news pages, however it is available on the opinion pages and on the main page (Cover or HomePage) . How could we solve it?

1. If you have a cloud/PRO template, but you can’t edit the footer, then edit your homepage with TagDiv Composer, scroll till footer, click on footer zone and you can edit/delete the elements there.

In all of the articles on my blog, I write sentences summarizing the subject of the article in my “Summary” section. Some of these can be a little long.
Although the “Excerpt Length” is 25 in the “Excerpt” settings in the blocks I use on the homepage, the entire “Summary” text I mentioned above is displayed. It is not a problem for some pages (for example category pages) to be like this, I want it to be like this anyway. However, how do I get the excerpt section to be limited to 25 words in some blocks I want on the homepage?

I just checked the website and those images seems to no longer be on your website https://i.imgur.com/BwhVmGd.png and if you access them you are redirect to homepage. Now in this case that image is a thumb, maybe you delete it. A number of times during the day our Newspaper homepage will not display properly as formatted. It reverts to some kind of knock-down display. After some time it will correct itself, only to have it happen again a few hours later.
Our logo doesn’t display properly, our feature block “above the fold” disappears replaced by a header that reads “Featured.” Essentially our entire homepage layout gets bastardized, not conforming to our design.
Something similar also happens on mobile. Sometimes the mobile homepage displays similar to our desktop homepage and sometimes it has the header “Featured” followed by the thumbnails of the most recent posts.
Both these situations are still present after recently updating to the latest version of the Newspaper theme. I thought the update would fix the problem, but it did not.
I would love to include some images to illustrate what I am trying to explain, but I don’t see how to do that in the contact utility. Please let me know how I can attach or include some images and I will do so.
We are new to the Newspaper theme, having just recently installed it in May 2021. Unfortunately, if I can’t get these issues worked out we’re going to have to go in a different direction.

There’s a ‘Block’ near the top, called ‘Featured IMPACT’ that displays 3 Posts (‘Canadians to Watch at Tokyo 2020’, ‘IMPACT Picks for the Best Outdoor Podcast’, ‘Erica Wiebe, Canada’s Olympic Sweetheart’).
Instead of displaying Posts, is it possible to adjust that Block to display 3 Pages?

Hello, I’m having difficulty with getting the row of my homepage to stretch. If I select the row element and try to change the row to stretch and contain it to a set number of px, say 1200, 1400, 1600, it will not do it. It will not stretch beyond the default size. Even if I select it to completely stretch the row to fill the screen, it stays the same width regardless. The “stretch row off” setting is not checked. I have also tried changing the setting in the theme panel–> template setting –> page template. That does not change anything on the page.
I used inspect element and was able to find that the td legacy main css is what is causing it. The width is set to 1164px, whereas the header and footer are set to 2546px. If I uncheck the little box shown in the screenshot, it immediately fixes the issue and the row stretches correctly. How do I permanently fix this? I am not sure what exactly it is I need modify, or if there is a setting somewhere for this.

Also, you can try to do a test using the theme plugins and other plugins that are tested with it, clear all cache and see if the problem persists.

For the problem with the author links, maybe the author archives are disabled in the Yoast plugin, if they are author links will be redirected to the homepage. Check if that is the case: http://prntscr.com/mbwwuk after that clear all cache, purge CDN(if you are using) and check the results.

It is funny that tagdiv composer works with other sites (category, post), but it cannot open homepage site (homepage is missing header, header is on other sites).

I am totally not covered by your answer, it seems to be a major Bug in tagdiv composer and i have identify it now that I am trying to build the staging site brick by brick, its not about cashing plugins speed etc.
I have tried in the beginning to migrate to another Vps host with plesk migrator tool, lost several days in trials and errors and DB’s 100% when I was just surfing to the new environment.
Right now its the 10th time I am importing posts (160.000) and media files etc separate to the new WordPress installation and try step by step to see what is causing the error.
When I restored the production (https://sportlive.gr) theme settings to the staging one (https://nealive.gr) i saw that when I was doing all the filtering to the categories the composer is very sensitive and if there is an overlap in the filtering it causes several errors.
Also even google pagespeed tool seemes to identify the errors https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=el&url=https%3A%2F%2Fnealive.gr%2F as you can see from this its causing FAILED_DOCUMENT_REQUEST.
So there is nothing to do with the speed, something with tagdiv is messing the whole staging enviroment to the new server!
Right now I removed all the overlaping categories filtering and kept it to just minimum and Without mobile template to check it, and at the right corner the section ΑΥΤΟΚΙΝΗΤΟ when I am placing the correct filter category “ΑΥΤΟΚΙΝΗΤΟ” its messing all website and its showing the error you can see in the google page speed tool,
When I remove the filter and leave it to all categories empty the error miraculously gone and I don’t know what else to do!
I am absolutely sure that is a bug and your devs must seen to it and tried to tackle it with all the possible ways I knew, plesk cloning, wordpress importing taxonomy per taxonomy and for SURE the error is in the homepage filtering and the tagdiv composer!!!

I am very lucky the production site is working without flaws but I cannot migrate to another host I am STUCK with IT!!
