Hi Calin,
TagDiv Composer did not update automatically today – nor the last two times. As a result, all the raw code was displaying on my homepage and made it look horrible. The blocks and their elements went missing. For TagDiv Cloud Library – that was deactivate and I had to go to Plugins to activate it. During that time all templates reverted to the default template.
So whenever a new version is updated there is a period of time when the website looks bizarre until the two plugins are updated. Hence my question, is there a way to do these updates without making the website look horrible?
Thanks
Only problem with homepage, inner pages are working fine
-After updating the website and you go to my homepage you don’t see any pictures with my blog posts.
-The whole website is extremely slow, not 100% sure if this is because of the update saying honestly.
-Maybe more problems I’m not aware of?
Hi,
Please read this topic about How to make Infinite Loading in Homepage:
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-make-infinite-loading-in-homepage/
Thank you.
Hi. I’m having this same problem. I’ve realized it’s limited to my homepage. If I access TD Composer from my other pages, it loads fine… if I try to access my homepage via TD Composer, it spins indefinitely. Will email you at email addy above…
Hi,
Is that a post cloud template? The post content cannot be entered in the template, create the post normally, then apply the cloud template
– https://www.screencast.com/t/eBakBX3o
In the template there will be some placeholder text for the post content, but once you apply the template to a post, it will show the content you have created.
Regarding the demos, you can install/uninstall and change them as you wish. There is no limit in this matter.
– If you install with content, it will import demo posts, menus, logos, categories, the homepage, custom design where available, theme panel settings.
– If you install without content, it will import only the design and theme panel settings.
In case I misunderstand something please correct me and I will try to help you.
Thanks
Hi,
In order to remove that image from the homepage, please edit the home page with tagDiv Composer
https://www.screencast.com/t/tcg1KEhW
Now go down on page until you see that image ( https://sweetsica.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/xxx_t-white_xxx.png ) click on it
https://www.screencast.com/t/CpQG8UPRPTkb
Click on remove.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
Maybe you had the business demo installed previously. Installing a new demo won’t affect the homepage content you had before, unless you install it with content (then the demo homepage will be imported).
The black demo doesn’t use the class you are referring to anywhere. It can only come from installing the business demo with content previously

If you need help with anything I will try to help you, provide more details about it.

Hi,
If you do not want to have the feature image only on the home page then please edit the homepage and set some blocks without feature images like block 9 and 10, or use a flex and hide the image
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
Thank you for your understanding.
I am trying the demo black version and saw the extra class td-business-home-row on homepage. I couldn’t figure out where did you put the css to learn and customize. Please explain. Thank you.

For example, on the home page the image background above the newsletter subscription box works and looks like this:
On any category or other page it is missing and looks like this:
On the home page the background image is linked correctly, but on any other page it mislinks to the category or other page as being the folder containing the image, creating a missing image (the 404 errors that you were receiving).
For example, it seems that when on a category page it changes from:

Hello, I have not changed anything on my home page in quite some time, but all of a sudden, code is showing above each block/section on the home page. It doesn’t appear to have any problems on mobile devices that I can tell. I do not know how to go about fixing this, because I didn’t change any settings to get it like this. I have just been publishing blog posts for the last couple of weeks.
This is the Lifestyle template, and it’s not longer displaying on the home page, either. (I took Instagram and a few other things off initially, but that was weeks ago.)
Thanks so much, Trudy
I’ve got my homepage set up with TD Composer and what I wanted to do was to display one full custom post content. No excerpt, no photo and no title. I couldn’t find any of the content blocks that allowed using the_content rather than an excerpt, so I thought I’d try it with a shortcode. I added the shortcode with column_text and it worked, but it wraps the shortcode in <p> tags and unautops the content so the post just displays in a big block. And then when I try editing the page, it gives this error: Error at rows: 2(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content.
I’m no longer able to view or edit the page with TD composer until I edit the page in wordpress and remove the shortcode I added.
I’ve used the same shortcode in a sidebar widget and it displays perfectly, but can’t seem to get it to work on my homepage. I thought that before pulling my hair out I’d just ask if there’s a way that I can do this? Are any of the modules able to just pull a random custom post and display the content? Or is there a way I can wpautop the shortcode?
Hi,
You could check some homepages and pages from the cloud library
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Homepages
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Pages
Also some sections – https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Sections
You can preview the templates and even edit them with the composer to see how they are made. All of them can be imported on your website through the cloud library plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Thanks
I tried that first, it doesn’t work. It disables the featured images display on the homepage (in blocks, for example). It doesn’t disable the feat image on single posts.

I am using post loop. Need to remove comment count from homepage (which is a post loop). Using “fitness blog” template
The homepage on the mobile theme is fixed as far as I know. The top grid and latest articles cannot be changed.
To add custom HTML, images or text just edit the page and add those elements inside the Mobile Editor.
Hi there,
I’ve activated the Newsletter plugin and use in on my Homepage.
How can I add this exact same ‘signup’ form at the end of my posts? (or in my footer if I choose).
…I’m able to add the generic signup code into Post-Ads End of Post area – But I want the customized signuup form I use on homepage.
Needs to look like this: https://prnt.sc/lp67tw
and This: https://prnt.sc/lp6834
Please help, thanks!
Check the theme files under newspaper>includes>demos>city_news>pages and open homepage.txt . Copy the code inside in a new page and edit with td composer as you like.
Hi There, this is my first attempt at using Newspaper. I’m trying to add an Events section using the Big Grid 4 style. Under the filter tab, I can select regular post categories, but not an event category. The site is https://outdoorsportsgirls.com.
