Here is my site: motorillustrated.com
I have noticed that on the homepage, it takes a day before the latest articles appear in the big box and in the latest news feed (under the galleries section).
I thought it was maybe a caching problem, but when I try to add Wp Super Cache, it tells me it’s unavailable. Could there be a correlation?
Here is a summary of the problem using an exemple.
This article was posted on June 20st: https://motorillustrated.com/2018/06/the-new-2019-volvo-s60-unveiled-this-morning-in-south-carolina/
After it was posted, I could see it in the News section of the site, but I could not see anywhere on the homepage.
After logging in to Wp-Admin, I could see it on the homepage. I could also see it after logging out of wp-admin.
However, when going on another computer or another browser, I no longer saw it unless I logged in.
Then, on the 21st, it appeared on the home page. However, the articles posted on the 21st were not on the homepage. They were in their respective sections however (so if you click News section in menu, then you see article).
Today, the articles for the 21st have appeared, but I can’t see the articles for the 22nd on homepage unless I log in.
In other words, it seems that posted articles appear everywhere except on homepage where they take about a day to appear.
Thanks in advance
Hello cinematographe,
Sorry, but the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to add something like this in the main menu. Regarding on logo, notice that you can load any image you want and over it will be applied a link to your homepage. That’s the logo functionality. If is not what you mean, provide more details.
Thanks.
On my website having newspaper theme, http://www.ktustudy.in/ktu-university doesnt load up the page content for this link. The posts works fine. But this page loads only the title on mobile.
Also, Please help me how to customize the mobile theme homepage, I want it to be like how its now.
Dear @catalin,
I already change the heading module title on homepage into H2. But I want title block on sidebar still H3. Now, they are all H2 after the changes.
Hello Catalin,
Thank you for the message.
The screenshot above helped but I see no effect changing “featured” to “random”. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong.
In addition to the above, is it possible to disable the mobile theme plugin only for the homepage?
Thank you for your time.
I’m sure this is probably more simple than I’m making it, but on my home page there are some categories that I do not want to have displayed. I want to specify which categories are displayed, not just have them all shown by default.
I have TagDiv 8.5.Great Software!
http://WWW.americansofcolor.com – Site.
1. Want to save one of the (homepages) and use it as the default.
2. Delete all of the other (homepages) that I don’t need.
2. Can I upgrade to newer versions? Like: 8.7 or 8.8, if so how.

Im trying to emulate the homepage of https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_business/
How can i get the little blue box just underneath the headline section and the blue box, under the world section.
Cant figure it out!
I had the same link to https://192.168.0.120/wp_011_gadgets/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/52.jpg only on the home page of my site but it wasn’t located in the “mobile menu/search” background section in the “theme panel” as suggested. I had to go into Pages > Homepage > Edit with TD Composer > Call to Action Element > Style to remove the background image within.
How can I change the colour of category tags in homepage from black to some thing else?
Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
.td-post-category {
background-color:red;
}
Let me ask one more question.
How can I change the colour of category tags in homepage from black to some thing else?
-Joisn
Hello,
I am using the mobile plugin. The homepage shows a top grid and latest articles.
I would like to make the posts that appear in the top grid and latest articles random. How do I this for mobile?
Thank you.
Example of Text Ad:
This is just a simple text advertisement.
where only: “Simple Text Advertisement” is hyperlinked.
Requirements:
I want this text advertisement only on the homepage.
On clicking the Ad, it must open on a New WINDOW or New TAB.
I should be able to change the Font Size.
It should have a border of 1px.
It should have a block title of “Advertisement”.
Placing the Ad just above the td-demo-footer-menu.
Website: https://www.smartykidsparenting.com
I hope you understand my requirements.
Best Regards,
Is it possible to change the background video with a interactive embedded interactive image like : http://mdmediany.org/Hist-try2/Hist-try2.html
How to change that ?
Hi Catalin,
Thanks for your reply. What I want to do is change the order the categories are displaying.
Right now on the homepage below the sliders each category displays the latest posts.
The categories are in a blue rectangle with a rule across. The order right now is:
Technology
Business
Insurance and the Law
FAA History
Use Cases
Op-Ed
I want to move Op-Ed to the top of this list. I’ve looked through the block controls in the theme panel and don’t see a way to change the order of these categories displaying on the home page.
Hope that helps explain it a bit better. Let me know if that is possible inside the theme controls, or do I use a 3rd party plugin, etc?
Thanks!
I used to use WP Super Cache on my sites, however has too many issues.
Performance on WP Rocket is far better too in my experience.
Anyways back to the issue, it seems odd that grids and blocks on the homepage update but not on other pages on the site.
I did get the plugin to load but not on the homepage. The page was created by the newspaper theme and was one of the demo sites minus content. I could not get the demo to install with content after uploading via ftp it refused to install saying it lacked permission yet when I install it via wp it does not have the same issues.
The issue is NOT with the theme but with the plugin. I thought I had made that very clear, considering the title of the post is the plugin NOT the theme. I also think you failed to pay attention as I have stated that I have uninstalled WordPress and reinstalled it which means its cache no longer exists and I have also reset the server os so again no cache.
Hello,
I am using the newspaper theme with the crypto news demo.
I want to add the cryptocurrency price ticker widget.
This is the one I am trying: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cryptocurrency-price-ticker-widget/
As soon as I activate the plugin and add it somewhere, the entire page gets stuck after loading the header and scattered parts of the site.
Two questions:
1. How do I fix this?
2. In the demo, there are some areas in the homepage that contains a banner “Please install the Cryptocurrency Price Ticker Widget”,
How do I remove those banners once I get the widget to work?
B.R.
Hi,
You can find that easily. All the demo content is included in the theme. The homepage content of the fitness is located here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/pNEdIioumg9
Thanks
Yes it happening only for the homepage.
I’m not using both composers, only Tagdiv composer.
Is there a possibility I can mail my credentials/wp-login and you can maybe have a look ?
I can’t edit anything in the homepage now.
I was just thinking of something more light, the way the homepage works, but filtered by a category / multiple categories.
Hello berchman,
Notice that plugin has not tested with our theme and therefore we cannot say for sure if it will work as expected for the whole website, sorry! This plugin seems working fine for sorting the menu and mega menu items. I do not exactly understand what kind of categories do you want to change from the homepage… All the settings regarding on categories of blocks can found in each block in Block Settings. If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
So that is happening only for the homepage, that could mean there is something wrong with it specifically. Maybe it was something you entered in the page just before the issue started to appear, like elements that do not belong to the tagDiv composer. The page seems to not contain anything like that however, from what I can see.
That also may happen if you used both page builders on the page, tagDiv composer and WPBakery. You should decide which one you want to use and deactivate the other. So if you edited the page with WPBakery that may result in problems with the tagDiv composer, like it is happening now. Let us know.
Hello Ramazan,
1)Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme, the system status parameters are correctly increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ You can provide some screenshots of the problem.
2)Your homepage seems to work as expected, without any problems, together with your images.
3,4)I have inspected your console and I saw that you have some errors through it. If you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them and leave just to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and check the results. Also, ensure that you have correctly setup the TagDiv Gallery according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-tagdiv-slider-gallery/
4)The sidebar at your homepage seems to be there -> https://www.screencast.com/t/diTV9idIg Where is the problem?
Thanks.
Something in the homepage is going wrong.
Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
I get as a error.
Can you guys please have a look at it.
