If you want the specific design of the city_news homepage you can install the demo with content, make a copy of the homepage, then uninstall the demo and install it again this time without content. You will be left with the homepage copy.

It seems that all the block pagination is doing the same. Even if you use the ajax filter on blocks, the posts that are filtered are redirecting to the homepage. That is not how the theme works by default.

I suggest that you deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, clear all caching next. Temporarily remove theme files modifications and code added in the theme panel. Also check your htaccess file for redirects.

The theme will not redirect anything, so either this has been done in the htaccess, by a plugin or other redirect tools.

You can use ad boxes everywhere you want in the page structure. So you can place ads in the homepage where you want them to appear. If you mean like posts as in a block, that will not be possible.

The ads will be displayed as they are intended to by your ad provider, you can add titles to them however

Rows can also be stretched to accommodate ads if needed

So you can experiment with ads and layouts until you find the result you are satisfied with.

So the homepage does not load when you want tot edit it with the composer. Do you use the tagDiv composer? Is the page built entirely with the composer as it should? Have you entered code in raw HTML widgets in the page, or in text elements (maybe shortcodes)?

If there is no problem with other pages, then there is something specific to the homepage. Default elements provided by teh composer and added in pages will not cause problems, in most cases there were different codes entered in the page by some form, even ad codes. Let us know.

Unfortunately the big grid does not have such functionality. They can opt for a homepage post element if they want to highlight a single post at the top of the page.

I see now what you are referring to. You use the default WordPress blog style homepage, instead of a static page.
The limit of posts displayed on the homepage is related to this setting

Please check if the same thing happens when editing a new page with the composer. It could be specific to the homepage, usually codes entered in raw HTML or text elements are causing such problems.

If the same is displayed, try deactivating all you plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Then check if there is still a problem. Let us know.

Your homepage is a blog template. It was not built using the tagdiv composer. The blog page is handled by this template setting: https://www.screencast.com/t/Cbavg6cik
You cannot implement a newsletter or any other widgets on in the content of a blog homepage, but you can do it in the sidebar though from the widgets area.

I checked a few posts, the homepage and a few category pages. Basically if you update the theme plugins after a theme update, there should be no problem.

Only through Google search will the AMP pages be served. That is how users will end up seeing the AMP page.
If the user accesses the homepage for example, or after finishing with the AMP page and navigating way, then the mobile theme or default responsive theme version will be displayed.
