I’ve got my layout done. I have (on my homepage) the content on the left (it’s blank right now) and my sidebar on the right. I’d like to add 3 static elements on the content side (Photo/Video/Photo)…none of them have anything to do with a post…it’s just branding “stuff”. I’ve looked in TD Composer but I can’t seem to find the right layout….suggestions?
After retrying your steps word to word, 4-5times I had to improvise,
1. I uploaded Multi-Purpose plugin version 1.0 (from an old archive)
2. Luckily it worked to get my home page back in shape.
3. My homepage came back to life but the issue of font awesome doesn’t resolve.
4. There is definitely an issue with 2.1.1 M-P plugin or something around it.
5. I have attached an image for you to see so you know what my homepage looked like if i hadn’t put in M-P version 1.0.

Too bad, the above site is the only reason I purchased the theme and plugin. What a waste!
Looking at the fact that the plugin works perfectly on category pages and when the site is set to show latest post on front page, it’s safe to say it’s because the theme is using your composer to show contents on front page.
You mean you really can’t offer any help or guide? The plugin is working with your theme but doesn’t work when a page is used as homepage.
Again the only problem is that when a custom page is set as homepage, the post that appear on the site homepage which are supposed to take someone to external links were the contents were aggregated from doesn’t work on homepage but it works well on category pages.
It doesn’t really look like a big problem. I really do need help with this please.
Again what the plugin does is to aggregate contents from specified sites. The contents come in as standard WordPress post. The only difference is that the plugin has an option to set that people should be taken to the source website to read the post when they click on it. So the permalink points to the source website instead of the post page on WP.
I did exactly as you said
deactivate>delete>reinstall plugin multi-purpose and now my homepage has broken!!! which is made by tagdiv composer.
My system status is all green, just updated my theme via envato plugin a while ago.
Please help, I am not sure what is happening, this is killing me..
Thank you, that tipped worked. Somehow I did something today I get the same problem again. But this time it won’t fix it (even with the guide I can’t solve the problem).
When you go to my website : ‘www.testpagina.brainer.nl’ and want to edit the homepage with td-composer. You’ll only get to see the code.
It’s weird because I only get to see the code when I try to edit. This means I can’t edit my homepage anymore.

I have inspected the website you provided but I don’t seem to be able to locate these boxes you mention. At the moment there are no problems with the homepage and post pages from what I can see.
Please specify where exactly are they appearing and I will take a look.

The website you provided does not use the Newspaper theme fully from what I can see at the moment. On posts the theme applies partly, the homepage seems to be built with a different builder.
There are also issues with the usability of the website and loading. The menu cannot be used properly, the post pages are broken

If you want to use the theme, please deactivate other page builders and create pages using the tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugin (ads more elements to the tagDiv composer)

I just set it up, and today checked Webmaster Tools, it says 6 pages AMP indexed, but where are the remaining 60 pages ? Do I need to submit any list to GWT or they simply process it that slow ?

I’m creating an aggregated news site using WordPress Automatic Plugin – https://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-automatic-plugin/1904470?_ga=2.31101759.1891220504.1525590354-830612396.1502915622
The plugin automatically pulls post from other sites – in my case latest news from top news sites in my country.
I’m just displaying the news headlines (titles), the idea is to open the news on a new tab on the source website when title is clicked on the homepage.
Thankfully, the plugin has features that makes this possible but its not working with your theme.
I’ve tested it with other themes and WP default themes and it works well.
It seems newspaper theme does not use the standard way that will enable the plugin to alter the permalink.
I need to know how to modify the theme where it builds the source link and use the “post_link” function or read the link from the custom field like WP does when the standard function is used. here is the code that the plugin uses for this job and it is located at the file p_content_filter.php

It’s worth mentioning that when I set newspaper to show latest post on homepage,everything works fine.

Hi I have an issue with the category boxes on the modules on my homepage (stage.dailydream360.com)
Big Grid Slide
There is no Box around the Category and it appears green – on hover the box shows up but the text is not visible. I’d like the box to be green with white text and hover 50% value of the original.

There is not enough spacing around the Category (the text is right up on the edge of the box) Can’t figure out where to change the padding of these.

The tags can be omitted from the “Posts Loop” on the homepage, so that gets us there. The only issue I have is that these are tags for layout, not content, and would still be visible on the front end to site visitors. They don’t have IDs or anything for me to hide them. I suppose I could do something with string matching in JS.
Is there a way to hide specific tags from the front end that I’m not aware of?

Hello, i would like to know what is the best way to load the specified fonts regarding the language i want. For example, Greek will load Open Sans, Russian will load Montserrat, Turkish will load Montserrat, etc.. I’m using this way in my website, but it seems that when i change page , different from the homepage it doesn’t load the fonts i have uploaded to my server and seems to have an error 404. I have checked couple of threads here on the forum and found out the following code for hiding the excerpt on my home page

But the above code doesn’t work. I have also tried limiting the excerpt length from the Theme Panel>>Excerpt area but no success.
How can I hide/get rid of text (excerpt) on the homepage?

You could use parts of a demo without installing it. Installing it means uninstalling the one you have installed.

If you activate the mobile theme plugin, then the mobile homepage will not be the same as on desktop. The mobile homepage, category pages, post pages etc have a predefined template. So regardless of what you have on desktop,on mobile it will not be the same. You can find out more about how the mobile theme works here

Note that the mobile theme plugin is optional, so if you want the same content from desktop to appear on mobile, deactivate it. There will be no problem.
The mobile plugin is intended to be used if you want to display a different and simpler website on mobile.

All the font awesome icons show on the tagdiv builder and in preview but not on the live site.
I have cleared my browser cache & WP supecache’s cache, but that didn’t work. All I remember doing was activate slider revolution & wp bakery for some reason, but they are not deactivated.
Help me sort this out.

Somewhere I read to use Grid 5 (not sure what grid 5 is) but it is not available as an option, only big grid 5 and those images are super small. How can I create this?

Followed all the steps and both guides and ran into numerous problems…
When I deleted every plugin and reinstalled the tagdiv plugins, I kept getting the ‘no valid headers’ error for every plugin, so I installed them manually. When I downloaded the social counter plugin and went to the widget tab to enter my social media accounts and save, it keeps disappearing (as if I never installed it). This is happening with all tagdiv plugins. Every other plugin has been deleted.
I have to go back to 8.5 again, but again the social counters won’t show up on the homepage. IS there any update soon that can provide a fix for this. I’ve had this issue for months now and I’ve reinstalled the theme and plugins so many times now I can’t count.
