I suppose that you want to use the Blocks in the Sidebars, right? Please note I had @font-face css added for the fonts as per below. Which I have deleted as it didn’t make any difference. I.e the font still displays on the homepage menu text, but not in inner pages.
I also tried to copy the .woff file straight into public_html folder – same thing happened. So I’ve changed it back to the original query.

Iam using newspaper which is really a beautiful designed theme.
unfortunately i got a problem with the viszualisation of the frontpage when in page edit mode:
when showing the homepage of the web the whole configuration is shown as usual.
when going in edit mode the visual composer blocks are not shown. it seems that no visual composer block has been used
when switching from visual composer to “classic vizualisation all the parameters are shown in the text editor.
(btw, i am using the travel demo setup. everything worked flawlessly)
what happened?

I’ve just changed from another wordpress theme to Newspaper theme and I’ve noticed a little bug.
In homepage, if you go to block 1 (categories) and press the next button to load more articles, you will notice an unexpected blank between the big image at the left and the title below.

The BigGrid on the homepage isn’t displaying properly.

Please notice that if you want to keep the sidebar when you use Visual Composer, you will have to create your sidebar using this plugin and not using the sidebar from widgets area. We updated the documentation for the fonts settings along with newspaper 7 so it shouldn;t have been a hassle at all: https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
The steps are simple. Download the font, add it in your root wp folder (no path required, just the name of the font in the url field) or a new folder that will require the full path to the font (your browser should download the font if you access the path you type in the field.)
Then name it and select it from the fonts section.
Not too complicated. (I hope). The font you set on pages should affect all pages, not just the homepage. please provide a link to your site so we can inspect the fonts and see why it does not apply across all the site.

The first day when I installed the theme the Visual Composer was working very well but its been a 3 month now and I want change the look of my homepage, so when I try to open on Pages -> All pages -> Home on my wordpress site to change the homepage, it takes a very long time to open. If you use Yoast SEO it should already be added!
If you do use Yoast look at the source code at the top of your homepage and near the end of the block of code for Yoast you should see the entry.

I’ve checked your site and noticed that your using page template default for homepage. On this post template the sidebar won’t be displayed when Visual Composer it’s used unless you add it on the page. You can use a widgetized sidebar element from Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/WXheJbjhKO You can also make it sticky following this link: https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/
Also for posts you don’t have sidebar set. Try to set a sidebar from post editor clear the cache memory the test the site again.

I use the Travel version of the theme. How can I set a background image so that it doesn’t cut off the header image on the homepage? (It cuts off the header image to the sides). I also use post style 6 on my posts. I want to set a background image so that it doesn’t interfere with the image on my posts.

Unfortunately the theme will not upscale your images. It only crops them. You need to upload images bigger than the containers on the homepage if you want them to display properly. There is another issue on your end though. Your site does not use thumbnails for images. you nned to make sure your thumbs are set for the blocks that you use on your site: http://screencast.com/t/yYYqdI8O And then use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
As for the image sizes, there is no ideal image size I can recommend. You will have to asses the containers and thumbs you plan on using on your site and the post templates as well. if you use post templates that use the full size images like: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-2015-awards-all-of-the-best-and-worst-moments-from-the-show/ then a full had image is required. If not, you need to inspect every element especially on the homepage. If you use big grids, your images must be at least the size of the big grid container otherwise they will not fit inside and not display properly. Here is a list of all thumbs used in our theme:
