I have a header ad on the frontpage. My homepage. It is just under the menu and it looks great. Unfortunately this ad appears on every page that I go to within the website. Is there anyway I can stop this?

I’m using the WP RSS Aggregator and have applied the following line of code:
add_filter( ‘wprss_ftp_link_post_title’, ‘__return_true’ );
This works fine on all the category pages but the only place it DOES NOT WORK is the homepage. This is currently blocking my site from going live and I’ve been told it’s theme related.
The instructions I followed were:
1. Go to ‘Installed Plugins’.
2. Click on ‘edit’ under ‘WP RSS Aggregator -Feed to Post’.
3. Paste add_filter( ‘wprss_ftp_link_post_title’, ‘__return_true’ ); before the first line of code and you’re done. Everything should work as you want it, ie, click on the link and it goes to the original article.
Is there anywhere I can also add that line of code within the Theme Editor that will fix the homepage? (I’m not a developer/coder at all so please bare that in mind when replying.)

1) You can delete the homepage latest articles section from the back-end by removing or commenting out this code here: http://screencast.com/t/YEDkjSmX
2) The ‘popular’ widget is added as a block in the sidebar widget. You can add a block to yur sidebar from the widgets area and apply settings to it including name and posts/category to display.

I have two problems and I think, both of them is related with each other.
1- Sliders are not working regularly. Slider’s timing doesn’t operate and headers of each post overlapped. It did suddenly, I don’t know why it was. Also, you can see the problem, the half of image is applied effect. But, It also prevents to click to post. 2- Now, in any posts, there is no featured image in template style 7. What can be its reason? First, some images cropped half yesterday, today I cannnot see any image in any posts. You can see the sample from here: https://www.gastesehir.com/haber/ressam-bozcali-sergisi-icin-taha-toros-arsivi/
I read many articles in Newspaper forum and tried some css codes. Also, I looked to something in caches and Lazyload fade effects. But, I can’t succeed.

I’m planning on password protecting some of my posts.

I would like to display a unique image underneath the password field, basically instructing people to opt in in order to get a password sent to them (I’ll most likely use leadpages for this)..
Is this possible?
Also, for some reason the sidebar is displaying twice on my homepage.
Any idea what might be causing this?
The homepage posts are also being displayed twice as well (just using 2 different block types).
I would like remove the ones at the bottom (the larger image block type posts)..

Sorry for misunderstanding you.
The page structure changes a bit when the homepage post it’s used, that’s why the extra class added for the row isn’t targeted. To change the tile color for this post try this css: http://screencast.com/t/Q2oKTi7fjk

I use the Existing Yoast SEO Title in plugin for the homepage and I have put the title in a h1 tag in a text box on my homage do you think that would be OK or should I take one out..

I have one special category that i use just for posts i want to show in slides/grid on homepage. I have ability/setting to hide it inside posts, but not on blocks
Before, i used plugin Simple Custom post order, to order categories and it worked fine. But then i had problem with this one called “Aktuelno”. And because i read that default order of primary categories is alphabetical i changed its name to -Aktuelno- and it was ok for some time.
Recently it showed up again at the top, i cant do anything to remove it except to manually choose primary category in every post.

I’ve noticed that when I land on a post on my blog everything looks fine and functions normally. But the moment I refresh the page all images disappear and won’t load no matter how many times I refresh the page. The only thing that works, is if you exit out of the post onto another post or homepage and then go back into the original post and it works again until you refresh.
I’ve loaded other themes on a test site and I don’t experience this issue. Just wondering if you can help

When I checked the homepage threw source I realized that the page has no h1 tags.How do I change my homepage so it work’s best for SEO.

At this moment the featured post is displayied 2 times, as the featured post and normal post on the home page. I need only feature post and no the same post displaing below on the home page. I am using a blog template.
