Hi there, I’m installing a separate wordpress installation on my site for our sites e-commerce because it’s already too hard to maintain the site with huge database. Should i buy another license? It seems to be activated but resets all the preferences after a while.

I downloaded the version of the mobile theme plugin which is compatible with Yoast SEO plugin. I was able to install the plugin successfully. However, when I try to activate it, I receive the following error message:
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Mobile_Detect in [file path] on line 29”
Please advise.

I didn’t edit any demo content so should be okay. I’ll just uninstall the demo and do things manually rather than reinstalling one of the other demos.
Ok, How do I clear WordPress cache? I haven’t installed anything yet to cache.
Not sure if this question is inappropriate here, “Features” menu is missing in demo install. I don’t find it under menu option.

Please ignore this message and try to install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme, clear all caches and check the results. Please notice that all the plugins which come with the theme have the own licence and must not buy anything.

You should try it locally cause I can’t disable plugins on the live site. The screenshot above is relative to a local install with only the child theme and the Visual Composer installed, nothing else: no other plugins, no customizations, nothing of nothing. So I think you can be able to reproduce the error on your pc.

Yes, the plugins section changed and we removed the mobile theme link because people kept installing it without knowing that it is and what it does. We needed to make sure people read the docs first before installing the plugin.
As for the plugin itself, it is under the main archive. Please download the theme again as you might have removed it by mistake. download again and check the main plugins folder like so: http://screencast.com/t/PAfxLYe0wG0d
I have downloaded the theme archive again and the plugin is there inside the package. You are still looking in the wrong place. Please search in themeforest-5489609-newspaper.zip>plugins-> not in Newspaper.zip->plugins

The theme shouldn’t request 16GB ram if the site have 500 visits, on our tests this never happen. Hi,
I initially installed the Black Version demo and built my site. I have now realised that light text on a dark background doesn’t offer readers the best experience and because my site is rather text heavy I wanted to change to dark on light. In the main theme panel there doesn’t seem to be a way to do this now the demo is installed. Changes to the Post and Page fonts in the content section don’t appear to alter anything (although changes to the footer and sub-footer do).
Do I need to uninstall the demo to make these changes or is there some way around this?
If I did uninstall the demo and reinstall another would I lose all the menus, favicons, etc? Would it be the same as switching between different WordPress themes?
Apologies if these are dumb questions, I’m a bit of a WordPress noob.

Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you mean. I have inspected your website on mobile mode and I noticed that you are not using the mobile theme. You use just the general responsive mobile version which displays the similar layout like on the desktop. Also, please notice that we have a mobile theme feature, available in our packet which can be installed like a plugin -> Mobile Theme plugin. I followed your advice. I did a fresh install of wordpress on my pc and installed the latest version of Newspaper theme, with only the Visual Composer plugin. I created some articles without images, so the default one is picked up. I keep getting the same problem, saying that without content on the page (plugins, ads, images, nothing) it loads faster and it’s harder to see the issue, but it persists. I had to take a photowith my smartphone (it isn’t perfect but you see the problem it’s the same).
Can you help me?
Hello, anything I do, that menu stays like that. sometimes it works just fine, but sometimes I have to F5 the page to get rod of the menu… Is the default settings, no settings imported via demos. Plugins installed: Askimet, Photo Box, Shield, Shortcodes Ultimate, tagDiv Speed Booster,
WPBakery Visual Composer (which sreams for update for a long time btw), and Yoast SEO.

I caught this behavior as sometimes happens when the page is in loading process and then it becomes to normal. So, I suspect this happens to due from your untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Until now, we do not have any bad reports in this regard. The theme was fully tested and seems to work as properly in this regard. If your problem is still there, please try to use the Force Regenerate with Regenerate Thumbnails to regenerate you thumbs, clear all your caches and test it again. Also, you should make a new clean install, without any plugins and customizations and check the results with a new clean theme version.

The theme won’t ask the purchase code again after update, you don’t need to worry about this.
You’re using a very old version of Newsmag theme and if you update it you will need to re-build the pages made with Visual Composer as the shortcodes were changed.
Before making any changes in your site make sure you do a full backup to your current wp-install and the database also: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups This is a security measure, in case something goes wrong you can always get back to previous version.

Please try to disable all your active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, you can try to update the theme to the latest version of it -> Newspaper 7.4.
