Hi,

Getting the below error while trying to install the theme on my wordpress site. Any resolution?

Broken Themes

The following themes are installed but incomplete.

Name Description
Newspaper Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet. Delete

GD was previously installed on my server. So I did a restart on apache with no noticeable change. Is it possible that I am overlooking something?

And we detect the problem. The mod_pagespeed module installed on our server caused the problem. We changed some parameters that refer enhancements load and run JS (pagespeed_js_minify).

Try to login on the server via ftp, navigate to your-wp-install/wp-content/themes and delete Newspaper folder. After this step is completed you can try to upload Newspaer.zip file in your wordpress or directly upload Newspaper folder via ftp. There was a conflict between Mobile theme plugin and SEO By Yoast plugin. Try delete the mobile theme plugin and install this version: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip clear all caches then test the site again.

Hi, I’m answering my own question….

I notice that I was missing the php5-gd library. (this is a new server…)

After installing it with

apt-get install php5-gd
service apache2 restart

everything is ok now.

I’ve the same problem as reported in this thread.

I’ve install the template on an existing site with images, made several times the thumb regenerate (and also the force thumb regenerate) but this problem continues.

It seems that the theme is not using the thumbnails because when I open an image in a new browser I always see the “big” image.

Any suggestion?

I still can’t duplicate the issue on my end.
However on a closer look over the site I’ve noticed that you’re using W3 total cache plugin. We didn’t tested this plugin and we can’t recommend it to be used so you can also try to delete all caches a fer times, just to make sure that are fully emptied then try to deactivate this plugin and check how it goes.

Hello, I think I’ve the same problem.

I’ve the version of the template installed with the mobile plugin but most of the times I access my site with the mobile I see the desktop responsive version and not the mobile version.
Some times it works, other don’t.

So I deleted the TagDiv Social Media Counter and re-installed with the updated version and now this happens:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method td_block_social_counter::get_block_css() in /home/connorha/public_html/mylifepossible.com/wp-content/plugins/td-social-counter/shortcode/td_block_social_counter.php on line 52

Any thoughts here? I’m not sure what I am doing wrong, I just want the tracker back and working. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
