Hello kuaza,
I have checked your website on the mobile mode and I noticed that is not working. Also, I have checked your console and I saw that you have some js errors -> http://screencast.com/t/Mez2clOBHzaV. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please try this advice and let us know if after this your problem persists.
Thank you for the message!
Hello poiya,
Unfortunately, I cannot find your problem. I need more details about your issue so I can further inspect it closer. Please provide some useful screenshots with your problem, using Jing or your Print screen button. Also, I have checked your page source and I have noticed that you have used a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the theme and also could cause some unknown issues through the theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello AngelBR,
Our Speed Booster plugin has been designed to work properly with some tested plugins, as you can see in this screenshot -> http://screencast.com/t/ojSRErqBEI8 Please note that the Speed Booster plugin disable itself when an incompatible plugin it’s installed. We added this measure to avoid conflicts with the plugins that won’t allow moving their CSS/js resources at page bottom. To keep it always activated comment or delete the indicated lines from td-speed-booster.php: http://screencast.com/t/RZLIOPUNdqh You can check this topic for more information about speed booster usage: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-booster-questions/
Hope this helps!

Hi,
You cannot disable wp booster. People get this error when the update is not done properly or they have custom modifications made.
Please make a clean install of the new version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Please restore all modifications you made to the theme, and switch to the main theme if you use a child theme.
You can also set your search template from the theme paenl. Simply change the settings here and hit the save button: http://screencast.com/t/hH65D9slczNW
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure you installed the theme properly:

The blocks should be visible within the plugin elements: http://screencast.com/t/Zvpl9yaeITe
They also could be disabled from the plugin settings here: http://screencast.com/t/zTs6af3ZfduM

Hello hvatinat,
I suspect this issue come from your untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. For a quick solution, you should try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td_block_wrap {
padding-top: 48px;
}
The result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/ESUO79beHcN

Hello,
Please make sure you get wordpress to work properly before installing the theme and make sure you meet the requirements for newspaper:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
The if everything is set, please follow this guide to install the theme:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Thank you!
Hello,
Please remove your current version of the revolution slider plugin. Click the uninstall and then the delete files button. Then click on the add new button from the plugins section and this will prompt you to select the plugin you want to install from the a folder. You will find revolution slider 5 in this path: Newspaper-tf\plugins\revolution_slider_5 in the main theme zip you download from envato. You have to install revolution slider this way as it’s to big to be added in the theme panel.
As for the second request, updating to 6.7 will not affect your settings. Please follow this guide to update: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
Hello Irreverent Gent,
Try to disable all your active plugins, leave just Visual Composer and Seo Yoast to active, clear all cache again, reset CDN file if you use and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
If you need more assistance in this regard and your problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so I can further inspect your setup page. Also, please provide the link of this topic so we can know who you are and that the issue is.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Please deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. This is most likely a plugin conflict.
Also, please make sure you use the version of visual composer that comes with the theme. if you use any other version, uninstall the plugin and delete the files and install it again from here: http://screencast.com/t/SAEFvZVv
Thank you!
Hello rodmvin,
Unfortunately, I think that it is not a workaround to rebuild this post because if you have problems with your code, the problem will appear again. Please keep in mind that your all modifications remain in your database and you will not lose anything. Try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Check if your problem is still there and then try to install your plugins one by one and find the culprit that cause the problem and then try to disable it and find an alternative using another plugin with the same functionality.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!

Also, please ensure that you have the latest version of the theme and plugins (e.g Visual Composer in special).
After this advice, if your problem is still there, please give me the access for your website so I can inspect it closer and also so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Hello puirseal,
Please install the plugins from here: http://screencast.com/t/db9rj2ky1 and remove any version you already have installed beforehand. If they still will not work, then please try to upload the plugins via FTP. They can be found in the main newspaper package: http://screencast.com/t/nJ9HoFit9tsX For more information about FTP, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello,
I used your instructions to install the theme into wordpress. WordPress gave me this message:
“Installing Theme from uploaded file: WordPress Newspaper Theme.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.”
How can this be fixed?
Can be due to various factors:
a) bad pllugin installed
b) CDN issue if loading from CDN, using Jetpack etc.
c) lazy load image option – try disabling
To debug a plugin; turn off everything except Visual Composer.
Hi,
I have installed your speed booster plugin and get this message on System Status Panel:
v4.2 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: revslider/revslider.php
Both plugins were installed from the theme package.
Any solution for this issue?
Thanks.
Hi all,
If anyone is interested I managed to get round the H1, H2 on the homepage and category archives issue quite quickly and with a relatively simple solution.
Homepage:
Modify td_block_template_1.php file found in includes folder.
Modify h4 in this code:
$buffy .= ‘<h4 class=”block-title”>’;
if (!empty($custom_url)) {
$buffy .= ‘‘ . esc_html($custom_title) . ‘‘;
} else {
$buffy .= ‘<span>’ . esc_html($custom_title) . ‘</span>’;
}
$buffy .= ‘</h4>’;
To read ‘h2’
This changed the block titles on the homepage from h4 to h2
Category Archives:
Download and install CategoryTinymce plugin via your WordPress install.
Then edit your categories which will now have a fully functional editor similar to creating a post article.
You can then add all the h2 headings, images and customisations you want.
Note: Outcome will be determined by which category template you are using within the theme.
Look at this site to see:
Homepage Example: https://godhelpusall.com
Category Example: Finance News
Hope this helps a little.

I am facing a problem uploading media. I contacted my host, disabled all plugins,reinstalled wordpress but nothing worked. I changed the theme and it worked fine.
Seems like the problem is with NEWSPAPER. One more thing to mention is, i could upload small images like logos etc. But images bigger (in dimension) give error.
Error message: HTTP Error or sometimes. Failed to upload media, please try again later.
Any fix for this please!
I’m having the same problem. My site has been live and working for months now but I’ve suddenly lost all images. My images appear in the media centre, and look to be uploaded to each blog, but they’re not showing. I think it has something to do with a plugin I have installed, but I’m not sure which.
I tried multiple times regenerating all Thumbnails with various plugins and nothing worked.
The plugins ran for hours, reporting no errors at all, but the cropping simply didn’t happen.
What solved it for me is that I was missing the “GD Library”. Weird thing is that the interface should be pointing out this to me, but it wasn’t. So here’s a suggestion for the DEVs.
The link I followed to install it was this one. http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/ubuntu-linux-install-or-add-php-gd-support-to-apache/
IF it’s not working anymore, simply type sudo apt-get install php5-gd in a terminal
Hi all,
Love the theme, but I’m seeing it burn up a huge amount of WP Memory.
Is there a way to reduce this? I’ve installed cacheing etc. Disabling the Visual Builder works great, but that just breaks the site.
I am using newspaper default style, ı want to move travel style. Without installing travel demo how i can make necessary changes?
Thanks
