In order to achieve best results, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. After you have done this, please consult the guide below and then check your social counter and see how it works.
1) Please make sure you have the latest theme version: 6.7 If not, you need to follow this guide to update your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
2) Having the latest version of the theme is not enough if you do not update the social counter as well. You need to remove the current version you use: http://screencast.com/t/4jvRwNzK and then install the version of the plugin that comes with the 6.7 theme: http://screencast.com/t/9AKKURjTjX
You can recognize if you have the correct version of the plugin when you see the new app key settings: http://screencast.com/t/CIXxklBanNl If you do not have these settings in your social counter it means you do not have the correct version.
3)You need to follow this guide to get the requirements from facebook:

Please keep in mind that the social counter is not a live count. It will update once every few hours.
Once you followed all the above steps properly and made sure you have not missed anything, (and the social counter still does not work), then you can send an email to contact@tagdiv.com with your login information so we can further inspect the issue. Also, please provide the link to this topic so we can know who you are and what the issue is.

The thumbnail error issue from the search widget did not get fixed yet. This error only affects post that have no featured image set and only affects module 16. Please change your module from article display view here: http://screencast.com/t/ROEhvVId76

Yes you can reinstall the theme without problems. The activation code is saved in the database so the theme files can be deleted and re-uploaded as many times as you want or need.

You can use the theme on a testing site without problems. There is no restriction on sub-domain testing sites. The envato license states the theme can only be used on one end-product, but a testing platform is no end-product, so there is nothing to worry about. You can install the theme and use it.

First, thank you for answering.
In fact I always used the Ajax enabled mode and plugins are the same and never occurred problems of the kind since I use the Newspaper.
Anyway, I took the test that you indicated and not solved.
The problem started a week ago and the only change made was a clean reinstallation of WordPress with import of the old installation database with a copy of each table (except wp-options), but I think this could not have caused harm or could it?
In my log errors I found some occurrences that I copy below. This can be a clue?

When I try to install… here are te errors I get:
The plugin does not have a valid header.
and
The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
Any ideas on how to fix?
You need to install just the theme zip, not the ‘all files’ zip.

I installed the plugin manually from Newspaper-tf \ plugins (bundled).
And I have this problem for activation.
You say “You don’t need to “activate” it other than turning it on from the plugin page.”
And where is this “plugin page”?
Newspaper / Plugin ?
Because if that is the “Page”, I have nothing that allows me to switch to “on”. I have only “optionnal”. Nothing has changed.

I just bought the Newspaper theme and I am overstrained with everything! I want my theme to look exactly like http://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/full_screen_preview/5489609
But if I choose the theme option for “Travel”, every single post appears and not the “portfolio-like” order of the pictures. Where should I start? Or can the support team help me in installing/ setting up my theme like in the option “travel” as an admin? Thanks

First update, so please excuse the newbie questions.
1) Made a back-up of my theme files.
2) Downloaded new version
3) Placed site in maintenance mode
3) Switched, activated other theme, then deleted Newspaper theme.
4) Added New Newspaper theme and activated it.
Here is where I am unsure….
5) De-activated plugin Visual Composer and Revo Slider, then deleted them.
6) Installed Visual Composer and Revo Slider from download themes file and activated them.
Everything seems fine, I am just concerned that I followed the right proceed for the plugins…

I just bought Newspaper theme and it is an awesome theme. I am setting up everything on my server. When I tried to install Slider Revolution v5, it installed correctly but it is not activated. It is asking for activation key. I don’t see any activation key in theme files. Can you please guide me how can I find it?

If you look at the style.css file it does say v 6.7
Obviously you need to clear your cache prior to upload, then clear cache after update in both site/cdn (as applicable) and browser.
You can often “over-write” in place, however this can sometimes lead to confusion if there are files removed and no longer used. Deleting old folder and upload new one is best practice, and that’s how WP does it when installing its own content.
Up to you – if it WORKS for you, then keep doing it. If not, do it the clean (proper?) way of deleting old folder(s), upload new ones.
Often you can do this in place without changing to Twenty Sixteen first if your transients work properly, as if done quickly, you’re hiding the update from WP while you do it. Then when you login it automagically is loading the new files (transients are mini-caches).

You need to install just the newsmag theme folder, not the “all files” zip.
Best to LOOK inside the zip folder you download before trying to install on server.

I created a subdomain for tests (www.testes/videosupporters.com), because I want to experiment changes in my site (for example, install a new plugin) in this subdomain (for example, see if there is no problem with the installation of that plugin) before introducing that changes in my site (www.videosupporters.com).
Is that possible? I mean, I can use the same license for a subdomain of my site?
If the answer is “Yes”, how do I do that?
