I’ve tried the Twitter ID and the user name.

I get 0 followers showing with the numerical ID and 6 with the user name

Hi,

We installed a standard Newspaper theme (demo content is Default) and everything seems to work on desktop.

On iOS 9 Safari though, everything breaks, and if I look on the console (through a USB connection), I see many CSS warnings (hundreds) and some JS errors. This causes the images not to load and perhaps more issues.

I would prefer to share the link privately with you – how can I do that?

Hi, I have installed lot of WP SITES, and most of them, when you configure the URLs at:
http://MySite.COM/wp-admin/options-permalink.php

you have the option to just use: /%postname%/
and in this case, neither the “CATEGORY” word, nor the “CATEGORY NAME to which the post belongs to”, appear in the url.

So with that configuration, I just get in all URLs of my site, this:
MYsite.com/post-name
and that´s all. no more words, no more “folders” structure.

But I couldn´t get NEWSPAPER work with that configuration, yet.

How can I get this done with your NEWSPAPER theme?

At LEAST I need to use this URL:
http://MySITE.com/category-of-the-post/postname

but PLEASE, I really NEED to REMOVE from the URL the name “category” (or any other name as it uses another “FOLDER” in the URL and that will kill my SEO).

Important note: I don´t want to use the “.” trick. Of course I don´t want to use a plugin to HIDE this, as I already make the WP configuration in 50s of sites, at PERMALINK configuration, and ALWAYS worked with the core coding of WP.

Hello, I bought your theme there as two days (very beautiful theme, congratulations :-))
I followed your instructions to create a child theme, but there appears to have a small problem, I want to clarify that I did not change any css for the moment or other, I just installed the demo, and set up child-theme.
Strangely there seems to be a bug, the elements are appeared in the footer (see screenshot).

Could you help me solve this problem?
For not being a developer, I do not understand too much, or just the problem.

Hi, i have just started to have this problem on my website elocuent.com

All my text in the post editor is now white, when selected is still there for old postm, but is white text over white background. HEadlines working fine.

When disable visual editor for user, all works.

Tried all the recommenden solutoons from wordpres reinstallin wp-includes, updateing WP, cleaning cache in all browsers( by the way

PS. Only change we have donde recently to the site was activating and deactivating http://www.elocuent.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=vc-general Visual composer for post and then deactivated. This was weeks ago, but is last change in our log….

I went to install this plugin because I did not have it installed and after v2.3 update to get the weather to show on top bar, it need the api plugin installed as I think that is what is needed but as soon as I installed the plugin and right after clicking the activate link it gives a 500 server error and I had to go to FTP and remove the plugin manually. How do I install the plugin now? I have enabled weather. Do I need to disable it and then install the plugin? What gives. It never done this before the update to latest version 2.3 of the theme.

Update: Just tried disabling the weather on top bar and still got 500 server error after activating the plugin and still had to manually delete plugin in FTP. Guess I won’t be using that Weather on top bar.

Today I bought newspaper themes, then I download wordpress from official Poland wordpress website and install wordpress.Then i install newspaper themes and activated it.
Now when I go to the website, I see error’s

I installed Optmizely on Newsmag 2 (v2.2.1) and I’m having trouble with the second part of the installation. For Optimizely to work I need to add the post id variable to the headline class. It would look something like this (I pulled this sample from WordPress Codex)

<h1 id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>" class="optimizely-<?php the_ID(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></h1>

The code worked fine with previous theme but making the change to td_module_single_base.php doesn’t seem to work. I keep getting a syntax error.

How do I add the “optimizely-POSTID” class properly to the post’s headline in Newsmag?
