I am using a translation in Spanish, but when I make a modification to a translation, my website stops responding, in wordpress admin the message “404 Not Found” appears and on the web it only appears in recaptcha. After a while it is fixed but without any modification. I already uninstalled all the plug-ins and tried again, I have been like this for 2 days.

When i Install plugin and delete plugin asking ftp user credentials. i already give credentials repeatedly but connection failed only displaying. other thing i use same credentials via filezilla iam able to access all files easily. please resolve this error and other thing server response first time is take too much time. iam disappointed.

1. There should be a plugin conflict because even the scroll is not working. And if you click everywhere on your site, it will redirect you to another site. Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
2. If you want to see the mobile page for your desktop version, then you should uninstall the Mobile theme & AMP plugin.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1) Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

3) Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. Same problem happening while installing the last RC version (12.6.1). No more able to log through the login page. It seems to be linked to some javascript conflict but I might be wrong.
Deactivating all the plugins didn’t fix this issue.

I have been a Newspeper user for many years and I also have the same problem and have been waiting for a solution for some time. We have hundreds of thousands of posts already published, all with the excerpt field filled in long before migrating to the TagDiv theme, but unfortunately your theme does not support this functionality.
I think this is a weak point of the Newspaper, after all the Excerpt field is a standard WordPress feature that should be taken into account as it is important.
I sincerely ask that a way to resolve this be evaluated as the subtitle field created by you is a feature that ends up not making sense, both for existing installations, with their exerpt contents already filled in and which end up being lost with the migration to Newspaper, as for new installations that adopt to your theme, as in any case it makes users have to do double work filling in two fields with the same purpose.
We hope you hear our plea about this feature.

Im trying to create a multi language site (SK-ENG), but after I downloaded polylang from https://polylang.pro/downloads/polylang/ and I installed it on my wordpres page, I couldt fing setup wizard. I activated the plugin, checked dashboard and its nowhere to be found. I already tried re-isnstalling it, but it didtn helped. What should I do?

Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

I checked, and it seems you have the mobile theme plugin installed. You should create the content with the Mobile Editor https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
So, if you want to use the cloud templates, then you need to disable the mobile theme and AMP plugins, and then use the responsive version.

For tagdiv newspaper theme I have installed, is there a setting in the theme panel that turns on “comments are closed” or a disable button for comments?
I have comments enabled in WordPress “Discussion” tab settings.

Just installed this theme and having a slight problem, on the featured grid the images are darker. There is some kind of overlay that makes them dark and they don’t look as good… ( Image attatched ), is there any way to remove this dark filter that seems to appear over the top? thanks..

Thanks Bettina, I know how to change the color of the links and I have tried to do this many times already but it doesn’t change it, I can no longer change this color and I had and have already installed the standard plugin pack! I haven’t installed any other plugins since the last update and so I’m sure it’s the last update that created this problem. Can anyone tell me if I can change this color in some other way? For example, acting on MySQL tables, only I would like the precise name of the field to be modified. Thank you!

But i still doubt there are some bad codes still exist in my website. Today i have seen my half post gone to drafts and my homepage redirection address pointed out to tagdiv.com official site. I am considering buying another license of the Newspaper theme for a new web site.
But before I proceed with the purchase, I have a couple of questions to ask.
I want to use it for a multi-language web site. Therefore, I was thinking that the easiest way would be to install WordPress as a Multisite (MU). Then set the URLs of the languages as subdirectories under my main domain, such as:
mydomain.com <- this would be the English site
mydomain.com/es <- this would be the Spanish site
mydomain.com/de <- this would be the German site
and so on.
Every language will be under the main domain.
So the first question is: Does your Newspaper theme support WordPress Multisite (MU) installations? I hope yes.
How about the licensing fee in this case? It’s just one WordPress on one domain. I hope that a single web site license will suffice in this use case, am I right?
