I am facing an error on my WordPress website when I install the newspaper theme on my website it will break the basic WordPress features like the media library not load any images. but images show on the front page. also when I try to add a new post on my website it will not allow me to add the feature image for the post.
When I deactivate the newspaper theme it will fix all the issues. can you please help me.

The image you provided it’s not working.
It seems you have an uninstall plugin missing (search also about TagDiv Composer plugin).
So, please make sure you have all TagDiv plugins installed and activated.

This situation appear when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have does not feature options for a separate mobile theme plugin therefore do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
We tested with our theme the WP Super Cache and with the settings from our guide this is working correctly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

the posts had featured images set. Also, in the theme settings everything was correctly set.
It should be another reason for that. All I did to fix was installing an older database + files backup. It is the 2nd time happening. Is there any way you could check such an issue with the plugin?
Also, how could I stop the theme from creating endless thumbnails? I have multiple thumbnails per each image even though I stopped wordpress from media settings to create thumbnails.

I’ve been working on trying to update my website, but am having a few problems that I can’t seem to figure out.

Import
The first problem is when I try to import a cloud template for a page from the Cloud Library, I get an immediate error that “one of the images failed to upload” and the template never installs from there. It just sticks there.

Template
When I’m working with the template, for example Influencer, I am unable to understand how to make all the changes to the header, footer and sidebar automatic. I have a sidebar on my home page, but can’t get that to come across on the pages (non-blog pages). Is it possible or am I just fighting a losing cause?
Post Pagination
How do you turn off the automatic pagination on single article pages? When you scroll down to the bottom of an article it automatically loads the next article below. How do I turn this off?

First please make sure to check for a plugin conflict. Deactivate all the plugins except the tagDiv ones and try. Also please make sure that you followed all the steps to install the mobile theme plugin as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Hi there, the tagdiv composer it running under my site a little like so https://share.getcloudapp.com/p9u8zgoY and basically its a little tricky to see the different elements to edit. Is there a fix for this? I am using the latest version of the theme 10.3.9.1 and I have no plugins installed as I checked for conflicts.

I have a new installation of newspaper, so I switched from another theme. If I try to create a new post, there is no option where I can choose to use a page builder (e.g. the tagDiv composer). However for a new page this option is available. (composer is also installed of course) So there is only the text editor.
What can I do to make the visual builder work for posts (for new posts)?
Is there a chance to edit posts from an previous wordpress theme? Or is it better to create the posts entirely new?

Usually when this message appear, you need to login via FTP or cPanel and delete the folder for that plugin, in this case mobile theme plugin folder (httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/td-mobile-plugin) after that you should be able to install it.
This is usually apply for all themes.

If you use a default template, then you can not edit that page with TagDiv Composer plugin. Also, make sure you have installed Cloud Library and Standard Pack.

It seems it is a plugin issue of td_composer.

If you install any demo, then you should still have the content and pictures in your WP Dashboard.
The issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If the problem is not solved after this, then please provide me a link to your website in order to inspect more about your issue.

All demos are included in the Newspaper package.
What you can do is first of all a backup, then install new theme.
About images, you don’t have to resize them because in a pro theme you will have an option to set your sizes by settings.

I have been trying from two days to upload my logo via theme panel, I am using Beauty blog and not any PRO theme. I can see demo logo image in the theme panel, but when I try to replace with my logo, its not showing. I have deactivated cache plugin also. Its a fresh install, I don’t understand what’s the issue here. Please any leads and advices will be very helpful, I’m on a deadline. Please help.
@Bettina I have installed Mobile theme plugin. The drop down categories from the Main Menu, present in main theme, don’t work in the Mobile theme plugin. Only the page categories can be seen in the drop menu on the Mobile theme. Basically the Main Menu from the main theme is not fully compatible with the Main Menu from the Mobile theme. I do understand the fact that the two are not the same and one of them is optimized for performance BUT still…is there a way I can build a Main Menu for the Mobile theme separately? Or is there any other way to make the Main Menu work on both ways?

It seems you have installed Mobile theme plugin. If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. When working in TagDiv composer on Newspaper X theme to modify my homepage, I will go in and make all of my changes get the page how I want it and save the page. Then when I go back in to make more changes I get the following error message:
Error at rows: 2(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
Usually at that point my page is blank. If I hit CTRL-Z it will bring up some of my changes I had made and saved but not all of them. Doesn’t seem to matter how many times I save or what I do, I continue to get this error message when I go back in to edit the page again.
I am running WordPress 5.6 and just installed Newspaper X 10.3.9.1 last week.
Any ideas what is happening or how to fix it?
Apologies if this has been brought up recently, but I’ve just gone to update 10.3.9.1 on WordPress and it says theme update failed – has anyone had this issue?
