I just installed the theme and was starting to populate the page when this message popped up.
I reinstalled the theme and it keeps happening. Cant edit in the visual composer anymore and I do not have access to the back end of the hosting to fix this until later tonight.
Also when I checked the theme health this was there

1. Usually we recommend to use WP Super cache set as in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ but also we have users that are using wp rocked or automatize plugin, unfortunately for these we do not have a guide with the settings that need to be done and you need to find the right settings to work properly with our theme.

I installed AMP and tagDiv Mobile Theme today. This works fine, but there are some problems.
1. When the mobile menu is opened, the menu category is visible, but the menu cannot be moved (link is not properly connected).
2. I can see a single post share normally at the top of the post in desktop mode. However, on mobile, a single post share appears both above and below the post. I would like to modify this so that it appears only below.
3. When viewing posts on mobile, I don’t want to see the author profile. I want to see this only on the desktop.

If you are using Newspaper v10.3.6, please disable and delete tagDiv Composer, after that reinstall it from Newspaper > plugin, after that remove the Instagram account from theme panel and re-connect to it, also do not forget to set a new api key for Instagram using our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/instagram-widget/ (practicaly, you need o remove the cache and rest like for first time the Instagram account and api key in theme panel).

the visit counter appears but does not work. For quite a few years it has been working but now it has stopped working and I don’t know why.
I have tried uninstalling all plugins and also disabling the wp-rocket cache plugin, I have also cleared the cache and none of this has worked.

Disable all plugins. Disable Child Theme. Disable caching.
I did not change anything on my system and only updated the template. It is not possible that I have to deactivate and check my plugins now. Isn’t it your job to only release updates that are compatible with the current plugins? I have no unusual plugins installed. What should I do if I use a plugin that is no longer compatible with your current version? Find another plugin? That could take several hours of work.

You can contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase the default value, they should be able to do that. The theme also has some requirements for the server once installed, like the guide mentiones

The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions. info-template.php

Thanks for your reply! I forgot to tell that the issue affects only existing posts. As soon as I create a new post and add a link there, the embed works properly. Reinstall TagDiv composer did not help for the existing posts. Unfortunately I can’t edit each post manually because it probably affects over 1000 posts. Any idea what else I could do?

Please make a test, disable and delete tagDiv Composer and reinstall it from Newspaper > plugin, after that make a new post and set there the Instagram links and check the results.

We would like to use the Magazine Pro template (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_magazine_pro/),
but prefer to use the module showing sections with sub-categories which is used in Newspaper Pro demo:
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/ – for example in the “Lifestyle News” section there are sub-categories/sub-sections such as: All, Travel, Recipes, Health & Fitness, Music.
These do not exist in the Magazine Pro demo (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_magazine_pro/).
Is it possible to install both demos and use some of the modules from each of the template ?

Hi arnextera, yes, the Newspaper theme has an option that will update the theme automatically, but for this the theme will be set in maintenance mode and will download the new version using envato_download it will install it and activate, after that you need just to update and activate theme plugins -> https://i.imgur.com/BXdEdz0.png
Usually when you get “envato_download_delete_all_files_upload_all_files” there is some plugins, a firewall or security options that are blocking the automatic update, please check these in your website and host.
Also a solution will be to use the manual update using FTP/cPanel

Hi,
The Hamburger menu in mobile loses functionality when adding a VIDEO PLAYER to the Front Page. The website recedes, but the menu drawer does not appear from the left side.
This same scenario works perfectly in older versions of NEWSPAPER, so it is something new. It is essential to my business model that videos play when touched from the front page.
I have started from scratch, and installed the latest WP 5.42, Newspaper 10.36, and Demo Theme: Video News. No other plugins have been added that are not specifically included, except WP Super Cache, which is recommended in your System Status page.
The only change I have made to the Demo theme is to add a VIDEO PLAYER to the front page. Help! Thanks!

We have been hacked and no matter what we do, we can’t get rid of the hacker. We have more than 10 years in this field so yes, we did everything you are thinking.
So, I want to remove the whole WordPress installation and every single file (even Content folder and everything) so we can start from scratch.
How can we get the license so once we do that, we can verify our purchase and be able to imports the demo so we can work on top of that? Of course, the domain is the same one but we have read in this forum that once you reinstall, the secret key doesn’t work.

All of a sudden, I can no longer open the Tag-Div Composer. I tried deactivating all of the plugins except the tag-div modules and it still will not open, each time giving me a “This site can’t be reached” error. I even deactivated, removed and reinstalled the Tag-Div composer plugin, but nothing.

I have installed and activated Font Awesome 4 Menus.
I entered “<i class=”fas fa-dog”></i> Hundguiden” in label section of one menu item. Nothing is displayed, only the ones from the demo. I have tried several icons from https://fontawesome.com/icons?d=gallery&m=free

I have tried both “Load Font Awesome 4 From” “Local plugin folder (default)” and “Official Font Awesome CDN (Font Awesome CDN powered by MaxCDN)”
