Hi,

for a few days, the instagram feed integrated above the footer has stopped working. There are no images displayed, only icons for missing images. When I inspect the source and try to open the image url in the source, I only get an error message from Instagram saying “URL signature expired”.

I’ve tried updating everything, disabled and re-enabled instagram in the theme panel, to no avail.

In the docs for Newspaper I see instructions to enable instagram connection in the theme panel, under Social networks. But in my install there is only fields for entering urls to different social media. There is no panel for connecting to instagram.

How do I proceed to fix this?

I don’t know if it’s relevant, but the site is running under a multisite wordpress installation. It’s been running smooth until this happened.

In Impacto TIC (impactotic.co) we had to reinstall WordPress from scratch to solve some serious flaws. The site is almost completely new, but it is throwing me several TD Composer (Standard Pack?) related errors … Can you help me?

When adding templates to new page the template import window pops up with the “Are you sure you want to import this template?” confirmation behind the template preview window, but it’s behind the other window and you can’t access it. I reinstalled the plugins and it didn’t fix the problem. This happens while working on both desktop and laptop. Is there a fix for this?

I have imported the full default demo and am customising it. I want to import another single post template as I cannot edit the current one. However, I am not able to load Cloud Templates despite following all your instructions and having a green system status. See screen capture of the system status.

All system requirements are met as per https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/. You can see my server specs.

Looking at other solutions, on this forum, I tried with WP Super Cache installed and uninstalled.
I also deleted the cache.
I am not using CDN.

Can you tell me what is the solution?

I get this error when I try to update pages and cloud footer/header templetes using Tagdiv composer. We have had this site running for six months now before this error.

“Errors at columns: 3(models) : 8(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”

I have other sites using Newspaper and I get no such errors on them. So far I have:
Deactivated all plugins
Upgraded theme to 10.3.3

Site was created using cloud templetes. Standard pack is not installed.
Not sure if this started with the latest WordPress update because the only reason I noticed was because the elements on the footer were moved somehow and I tried to edit them.

Can you tell me whether there are any known issues running Newspaper X on EasyWP WordPress servers operated by Namecheap?

I have cloned a live site from there to my own server to change over to Newspaper X but a number of problems are arising.

1) When I try to use TDComposer to edit the homepage I got a 500 Internal Server error. The server log entry was:

I spoke with the server company and they advised to increase server memory in php.ini and wp_config to 512m which I did but this did not resolve the issue.

3) When I try to enable thumb on module/blocks for the template. These were not saving. I installed Regenerate Thumbnail but this was not “seeing” the sizes.

I deleted the entire site and started from scratch with a clean install of WP then installed Newspaper X. Rather than importing the entire site including plugins, I just imported the pages/posts and media. That works.

But that is a workaround. My concern is when I try to go live with Newspaper X on EAsyWP that it might malfunction. The reason that I raise this is because they have a must-use plugin which is proprietary and it blocks plugins like WP-super-cache which is recommended by TagDiv.

My server specs are:
WordPress 5.4.1
Apache/2.4.41 (Unix)
php.ini memory limit: 512MB
PHP version 7.3.15 (EasyWP runs and requires 7.3)
MySQL version 5.0.12

I have purchased Newspaper theme from you and i have the purchse code. It worked well for a week, but there was a attack on my website from some hackers so i had to delete the theme and re-install it. After re-instaling the theme i’m not able to see my homepage layout as it was in demo. Please do let me know how to get back my homepage as it is shown in demo.
And after reinstalling the Theme i’m not able to see the TAG DIV composer, please tell me how to get back the TAG DIV composer.

Since I installed this template I have a big problem in many of the news that I share from my website on Facebook (which is the largest click provider today).

It only happens to me sometimes. It is when I enter news from facebook, I get the misplaced menu. This causes the user experience that enters my website is not good and visits decrease.

I don’t know if it could be something from the header.php, but I’d appreciate help because I’m desperate.

So I’ve installed a demo and made the changes I wanted to make. Now I want the same styles for the header, footer, etc on each page as I styled it and for it not to be as the demo. I also want that to be the case each time a new page is created.

How can I do this?

I first has TwentyTwenty theme installed and active. When this was active I had previously uploaded a favicon (it recommends 512×512) in the “Site Identity” section of the theme customisation.

Then I bought the Newspaper theme and switched that to active. I set the favicon in the Theme Panel but it’s still showing the one from the TwentyTwenty theme. I cleared all browser caches, tried incognito window, everything.

This doesn’t get used because the favicon for the TwentyTwenty theme still gets included in the blog page source *after* the one included by Newspaper theme, so my guess is browsers see it last and overwrite the one earlier in the source.

You can’t change this unless you go back to TwentyTwenty theme and change the favicon there.

Took me ages to figure this out!
