1. Yes you can use a demo to start building your website, there will be no problems.
2. When you make an update the settings made in theme panel or on cloud templates using tagDiv Composer will not be lost, the will be keep in database, but if you overwirite the demo content and you’ll change it then you’ll lost the content.

4. You can save the theme panel setting using the import/export option from theme panel, the settings made with tagDiv Composer on cloud templates will be save on these.
5. I don’t quite understand, if you are referring to demos, each one have there one settings, therefore, when you import the demo you’ll import all the settings and templates, if you already have one install and you choose to install another one, the first one will be remove and the choose one it will be install.

Thank you for your reply. I tried in the Theme Panel, section Footer > Instagram settings, changing Instagram ID.
If I change it, it leads on a wrong page but the recent publications are OK.
If I set it back, the link leads to our Instagram profile but I see the old publications again.
I don’t understand.
We do NOT use a cache plugin. We planned to but it is NOT installed yet.
It’s really confusing.

I asked just a simple question, but your answer is not okay.
Popular (jetpack + stats module required) – when i choose that option and filter out posts or category it does not work. The posts still show up.
I have jetpack plugin installed and stats module enable.

Problem solved
The plugin that creates conflict is “SG Optimizer” (from siteground).
By uninstalling the plugin the problem disappears.
I activated it and I realized that just deactivating the “lazy load media” and everything is fine

Yes, you can install a new demo, please check our documentation for this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ also make sure that you do not overwrite the demo content, because when you install a new one, all the content that comes with the demo will be remove.
Also to be sure that there will be no problems and lost, please make a copy of your website on staging and try there.

i want to make my site super fast and am excited to update it to 10.2. now. However the homepage was built with the WPBakery Visual Composer (current installed version is 5.1.1). Will the update break the page?
As far as i understand the situation i need to use the cloud templates+TD Composer to rebuild the homepage. But what is the best way to do this reg. the update? Should i update the theme first with the standard pack installed and then rebuild the homepage or would it be better to do it prior of updating to the latest version of Newspaper in order to not break the page?

If WP Super Cache has been installed and you cleared the cache that means that your cache comes from the host. You will have to contact your host and ask them to remove your cache.

I have the “Animals Magazine PRO” demo installed and been unable to change the background images on the homepage to mine as it keeps giving me the error: Invalid data Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z).

I deactivated all the plugins except tagDiv’s but nothing changed. I tried to view the pages on a different browser, different PC but nothing changed. I did not installed a cache plugin yet. What I also noticed that on a post page all the sharing buttons (before and after post) are disappeared.

When sharing the entries on Facebook the featured image disappears and the web logo appears in the publication, please I need to solve that urgently.
In the social options the whatapp option appears but although you configure it later it does not appear on the web.
I need to configure the cover with only 1 news that occupies everything without having the title above the photo and that option is not in any of the template options, telling me how to do it is important for the web.

Hi Calin, I already have WP Super Cache installed (and the problem has persisted with it installed, updated and activated). There are no child themes or other cache plugins.
Could the issue be with WP Super Cache?
I have a license for NewspaperX for one website. rrecord.com, I have installed it on a temporary website rrecordstage.com in order to learn and configure the template. After it’s completed I will link it back to rrecord.com. Do I need to buy another license for that?

Hello Guys
We created a staging server by installing a new version of Newspaper 10.2. I have two primary queries.
1. After updating the theme and plugins in the staging server. We started checking speed and filesize in GT Metrix, file size & fully loaded size is increased, Previously we were using Newspaper 9.7.4 version, when we started comparing both versions mainly file size & fully loaded size, has increased in 10.2 version. How we can reduce the file size in the new version which is 10.2 to make the website speed faster?
2. After updating the Newspaper theme 10.2 and plugins in the staging server. I got a bug which is wp_booster error. we think some plugin is interrupting. May we know which plugin is interrupting to the Theme?
If we can clear the bugs so that we can update in main server.

After installing the theme, I activate the plugins but when I activate the last one the website dies going on 500 error.
It is the first time I use this theme and it is not very encouraging.
I tried three times already, but this happens every time.

Before the last Newsmag update, I had the same mention in GG results like other websites and no warnings on GG Search Console.
