Hi all – thanks very much for your advice here. I followed your advice here and I’d like to review the results:
1) I would suggest using an image optimization plugin to optimize all images – I installed the WP-Optimize plug in that saved over 200 MB, per their logs.
2) setup Cloudflare CDN or re-enable Jetpack Photon – I have enabled Jetpack site accelerator (the new version of Photon). Is there any benefit to also enabling Cloudflare on top of this?
3) Make sure WP Super cache plugin settings are correct – confirmed
4) Use plugins like Autoptimize – installed
After performing all these tasks, I re-ran the PageSpeed Insights report and it still looks like I’m being penalized for items that the above processes have fixed. For example on the home page on desktop :https://www.screencast.com/t/dOQwdfG58KXs, these images have been reduced in size but are still showing up on the PageSpeed reports as an issue.
Further – on the home page for mobile there’s still images that I optimized and shrunk in size, but are still showing up on the test: https://www.screencast.com/t/dOQwdfG58KXs
I also understand that my home page has a video element that is slowing down my page, however after the above work I looked at another page that does not have video – https://www.pinkluggageabroad.com/riad/. On this speed test, the desktop report recommends I lazy load offscreen images which I’ve done via Jetpack – https://www.screencast.com/t/pzzLUPMn. The mobile report has the same lazy load recommendation and has issues with these images, which I have optimized – https://www.screencast.com/t/en9PBfEVZH7i.

Hi – after I moved my local copy of Wp (with Newsmag installed) to my hosting – and after moving it from the /wordpress folter to the root folder) the theme does not seem to be saving my settings anymore. I get a the square drawing continously moving but never finishing.
I have tried:
. de registering and re regestering
. change theme
Should I try to uninstall and reinstall?
Would moving the site back to /wordpress work?

before I upgrade and install NewspaperX, I had set the breadcrumbs off because of the problems (id Error by Webmaster Tools). After the installation from NewspaperX, I can not only under one category see the breadcrumbs on sinlge pages why ? can anybody help me ?
I just installed a fresh version of Newspaper v10.2 and get the following type of error, like many others here:

After the installation of the theme, plugins are not installed they show an ajax error.
I tried to do manually but I receive the same message.

Hello. I bought the theme 2 months ago. After a week I no longer wanted the site.
Now I have a new website, new domain and new hosting.
I did the installation on the new site.
I need to activate the theme.
I’m not getting.
found because it was enabled on another site.
I no longer use the site and do not have access to the previous site.
How do I enable the theme on this new site of mine?
After initial install, all good. I installed a new demo but didn’t like the layout, I uninstalled it, and now its messed up, all post are in left column only and when I install a new demo, its the same thing, how can I get back to a usable demo? I have not installed any demo content, as my database has hundreds of posts.

I went ahead and installed the political demo, and then decided to uninstall it, now my site is totally messed up, i’ve reinstalled the theme and still doesn’t display correctly, any advise on how to get back to normal? I did a hostgator restore from backup but it’s still messed up

1. the child theme is not in zip file. so how can I install it ? should I make it a zip file then I can install it to wordpress right?
I saw the documentation of the child theme but it was saying some file manager/root things which I didn’t understand. tell me a simple process to upload the child theme. 🙂
2. the wpbakery is not activated. it is asking for activation. so if a new update is available, how can I update it?

Got your answer and checked on one of my old sites. Yes, it works.
But to do this, you need to fix the code in the standart-pack plugin, and for the site rome24.ru I have not activated this plugin.
The website you just created, and it immediately sets the template versions 10.
I thought that this plugin is not needed for new sites, but only to fix bugs on old ones.
1) is it Necessary to activate the standart-pack plugin when I installed the 10 version of the template right away or just need to wait for the next update?
2) When is this update expected?

What Calin means to say is, if you have created any original content(posts or pages), those won’t be removed. If there is any content(posts or pages) on your site, which came bundled with the existing demo, those would be removed if you install a new demo. No content, that includes posts or pages, that were created by you specifically will be deleted during the process. Also, you could take a backup, if you so wish in the future to rollback to the old theme or previous demo.
No I was able to contact the host to view into it again and after I install the sports mag it is now working. Thanks Vlad and Matt 🙂

Can you please tell me that WHY we need to edit the style.css or do extra edits on files, etc, or hire someone to do that as you suppose?
It is very disappointing that I paid for your theme, and this is not mentioning on the Envato Theme Forest buying process screen.
You have to declare this and what is stupid that you already say that you are one of the best themes in the market BUT I HATE THIS flash/loading problem with custom font, menus, widths etc first and than original BOUGHT theme’s items loads after a sec.
You have to solve this problem in order to offer us to edit loads of things. I never saw this situation on any other theme sellers.
If you insist that you are one of the best, you have to solve this with the updates.
If I install for example City Demo, than you have to put what is needed on the style css or whatever. Your original demos already has this flash sec problem even I dont edit anything in theme panel, dont have any code on the CSS part etc.

I purchase a newspaper theme in the previous month and install in my site techwisdom.in
And since then the problem started and my sites show out of memory problems. I increase my PHP and WordPress memory but the problem did not solve and my site often down and does not open by visitors and showing a critical error. I try to deactivate all plugins and find the td-composer causes of these errors. Now in last week, I update my theme into new version 10.2 and update all plugins and then TD-composer broke my site and it’s not allowing the dashboard and

If I have a site running default demo and I install the politics demo theme, will I loose any of my posts?
I have just installed the demo but
1) My logo is not displaying
2. Top menu and main menu background color does not change when applied
3. The header is showing stretch even when I entered “no stretch” in the template setting
4. ACTIVE & HOVER COLOR not working

Please notice that you can check the link only if you are login on form, if not will not have access to the documentation.
If you want to disable a demo you can uninstall it, or if you want to change the demo, you can simply install the new one.

As I explained in the OP I already went down the line of deactivating other plugins including the cache plugin, clearing the cache, and even re-installed the whole theme doing a fresh download from themeforest.
None of that helped. I also made sure that the issue happens across the board not just to me or my devices the the bug is present on the theme installed on my site.
I have reached out already to the contact email address and provided there with an admin account access if anybody can take a minute and check it will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, for the delay for answers. The Newspaper theme will not work correctly on wordpress.com because this do not allow you to install any plugins -> http://prntscr.com/q4x1j4 -> https://ithemes.com/tutorials/wordpress-com-vs-wordpress-org/
If you want to keep the wordpress.com you’ll not be able to use our theme on it, therefore we will be able to provide a refund for the theme

If you need to access those settings in theme panel, you ought to install and have tagDiv Standard Pack enabled. Most of the settings from the theme panel won’t be available when the standard pack plugin is deactivated.
