Also a theme javascript file as well as some plugin resources provide 403 errors, they seem to be blocked by the server – http://prntscr.com/nzvpbr – http://prntscr.com/nzvrsr
This could happen due to security plugins or security modules on the server. Maybe the hosting provider knows what is causing it.
I would also suggest that you temporarily deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and the cache plugin. Then clear the cache and check if the website is working properly.

It is mandatory to delete all what was left from the older version before intalling this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems and maybe you’ve missed something while deleting the old files. Have you checked the plugins to be deleted too ? Hi there, I have recently downloaded and installed the Newsmag theme. I’ve spent hours customising it as I upgraded from a basic WordPress site. However, the layout only works sometimes then it drops out to be unformatted. The website looks fine when I’m logged in on my computer but when I go on my phone or use another browser it doesn’t show thumbnails or anything.
Can someone please help.

I am new to Newspaper9 but I think that it could be awesome for a lot of our projects.
I use Elementor as a website builder. I have had no issues importing templates from Elementor into Avada and BeTheme, but I just tried importing a new template into a new install of Newspaper 9.7.
I have the main demo installed with content. I have the base of the plugins that I typically use installed (yes I deactivated them and still got the same error that I am writing about) into the site and I was about to start pulling in pages (Elementor Templates).
I imported my template from Elementor theme (Stratus) and imported it into Newspaper9.
I made sure that I created a new page that was set up correctly in Newspaper9 and imported the template.
The issue is that there is NOT an option for parallax in the Elementor Editor / Style. I compared both installs…

I went through these forums and Google searched this to death and I couldn’t find any solutions. I know that Elementor is NOT listed as one of your tested plugins, but it absolutely should be.

I have another issue with Woocommerce and the Newspaper Theme. When I create a product page and publish it, I get a 404 error. I have tried to reset the permalinks, I completely deleted the Woocomerce plugin and all of the settings and reinstalled, I even did a system restore to the site. I still get the 404 error when I publish.
Any ideas would be welcome
I installed the Woocommerce version 3.6.4 Plugin. The first thing I noticed when created a Product is there is no option for a lightbox. All of the images are loaded on the page and it looks messy.
I did some searches on this site and I tried to edit the Functions.php file with this code:

So I also purchased and installed Woocommerce Image Zoom Pro and Woocommerce Lightbox Pro. This allows me to have the general look I want and a lightbox function.
The only problem I have now is the Lightbox will not slide between the gallery images. I noticed that this same problem happens without the plugins. Do you have any thoughts on this?
Ok what I found is if I remove all plugins and only use the plugins that say Tagdiv on it, then it works. I tried adding each plugin back one by one. I found that after a certain number of plugins are installed, the same error comes back. It does not seem to matter which plugins are installed as I tried several different ways and got the same thing. Do you have any thoughts on this?

After 2 days, i found ONE solution but i don’t know if it’s the best one (for article, not page). I think it was because i used bakery visual composer (i m using it with another website without issu).
Now i use classic composer and i have installed this code in CCS: img { width: 100%; height: auto; }
BUT there is 2 problems:

Hi everyone.
I hope everyone already checked the changes in Google PageSpeed Insights and found that now the theme gets 4-5 score without modifications. Before those Google changes I had 70 scores.
I tried to change it, installed cache as recommended, mod_pagespeed server, plugin td-speed-booster and made all modifications that I have found including the official ones.
In conclusion I got 40-50 score for PC and 30-40 for mobile.
I case you switch to mobile version of the theme the speed booster plugin stops working and the score goes more lower to 20.
What changes the team plan to do to solve that issue?
When it will be solved?
What ideas do you have to make the theme works again 70-80 score. Better for mobile devices.
I have installed Newspaper 9 theme to my wordpress and I am unable to import the demo content or cloud templates. I host with godaddy. I have followed the requirements page with respect to php.ini updates and other configurations. Could you please provide guidance.
The plugin WPDISCUZ works on the basis of standard WordPress comments, so no scripts for WPDISCUZ do not need to be installed. Try to disable WPDISCUZ plugin and check it. By default, standard wordpress comments should be loaded.

I too ran into the same issue with the latest version of WP Bakery. What I had to do was uninstall WP Bakery and use the one that is included with latest Newspaper Theme in /code/plugins/js_composer.zip once I did that and refreshed the page, I was able to edit blocks once again.
Everything you mentioned has been done ever since we created the website. All the necessary plugins are installed and settings are turned on. But none of our articles show up as AMP.

Previously I was using another WP theme, and my custom page made by WP Pagebuilder was working fine. Now, after activating Newspaper 9, my page is not showing in mobile devices, and in PC, te page appears with issues.
I tried to install new pre builded page, but it appears with the same issue, so I think that it is a compatibility problem with Newspaper theme. My page is http://motoristes.cat/club/

WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it at least to 256mb.
Also please check the php version to be 7-7.2

I am not sure if this is related to my other post but when trying to install demos and/or activate my theme, I have clicked the “Newspaper” selection, however, only the “Welcome, Plugins, and Support” tab is visible”, Demos and Activation tab is missing.
